    Why is Soras voice so lite in KH1 but in KH2 it is much deeper.

    He pretty much grew up, went through puberty and became slightly less annoying but still aggravating to listen to.

    Kingdom Hearts II development took about four or five years to complete, and during that time, Haley Joel Osment got a deeper voice.

    Sora sounded too childish in Kingdom Hearts. xD

    You only noticed the voice difference?
    The big difference I noticed were the size of his eyes!
    (and yes, Sora is very hard to listen too.......)

    Well, he went through this stage call puberty(pu-ber-ty). It makes your vocie deeper, and pants tighter. Someday you'll go through it to.
