hey i need some help defeating him
i want to no
what keyblade to use
what growth ability am i suppose to have to defeat him
etc. etc. and it would b nice if u put some advice here too and thank you

p.s whats the max drive gauge?is it 9? cause i saw this vid and the max was 9 or was it a code?

 

I say to use the ultima keyblade and be alest level 68 or higher,with all abilities.

and the dive gaunt can reach 9 but you have to defeat certain bosses and such

 

9 is in the KH2FM+.
For Sephiroth, you should be pretty powerful, and have Glide/ Super Glide. You are without your friends, so upgrade your magic, attack, and defense. Ultima Weapon is good, and so is a crap-load of elixirs.

 

It depends on which game you have. If you have the original KH2, it's 7. But if you have Final Mix+, it's 9.

 

thats weird but it was the original kh2 i saw is there a code for drive gauge if there is then it figures

Yeah, that's someone using cheat codes.

 

The way ibeat him was to use cure then use the ability of the keyblade that gives u berserk(or use the berserk ability with ultima) also when he hits u use counter and keep pressing square to keep countering
use reaction command when u can
run around to avoid meteor
also i exuipped all the elixers i had saved up

Eh, I don't remember much about beating him...but I do remember one very important detail.

Do not, under any circumstances, allow yourself to be knocked into the air. In fact, stay away from the air entirely. He pwns the air...and he'll pwn you too.

 

no thats good its when u counter reapetedly... i think

 

first go far and die for 5 battles so you can know his pattern. you can get elixers by the big spicky heartless in hallow bastion. you should get high jump(valor lv3) far run(wisdom lv3) and arial dodge(master lv3). glide(final lv3) is optional. if you can't get elixers, but about 2 high potions and 3 ethiers. be at least lv 78. and use oblivion

stay on the ground because he will use the reaction command move alot. when he knocks you in the air, arial recover, lock on him and kick his butt. when he sommons wierd orbs, reflect them at him. when he rises in the air, jump to knock him down or sora might be koed

 

o......so oblivion or ultima?

 

Ultima is more powerfull, and has the very handy MP Hastega ability.

I was Lv. 40/50-something when I beat him. No Ultima, though. I used Holy Pumkin, or, Desicive Pumkin in the KHII. Well, it was KHIIFM that I beat him on, so I used Limit Form when I was in critical.

Here's some help:

Level: 50-60

Keyblade:
Holy/Desicive Pumkin

Shortcuts:
X-Reflaga
O-Curaga
/\-Item
[]-Blizzaga, or another item

Items:
Fill every slot with every high healing item you got, and a few Ethers, since you'll be using Reflaga a lot.

Abilities that are a MUST:
Reflect Guard
Slide Dash
Retaliating Slash
Guard Counter
Auto Limit (Final Mix only)
All Growth Abilities
Radar
Leaf Veil
Airiel Recovery
(Insert the ability that allows you to keep 1HP after a fatal hit)
(Insert the ability that allows you to keep 1HP after a combo)
All Como Ups and Pluses

How to dodge/block:
--6-hit-Combo: When he does this, use Guard and use Guard counter to get a few hits in
--Super-Slash: Stay on the ground. When you see a reaction command, USE IT! This will pull you down to 1HP!
--Ariel Slash: When he throws you in the air, he'll do an arial combo. When he's done, use Retaliating Slash.
--Balls of Doom: Reflaga
--Heartless Angel: Run at him and jump up to hit QUICKLY before he finishes saying "Descend. Heartless Angel." This will make you go down to 1HP and you lose all MP.
--Fire Pillars of DOOM: Use glide to fly away from him.
--Meteors: This one is ANNOYING! Glide around for a bit and try not to get hit.

I hope I'm not missing anything. And keep in mind, you can only hit him with 2, count'em, TWO, combos.
