Kinda ironic this happens at the launch of the best rated game ever. (Super Mario Galaxy)

Madness would be if the 360 out sold both of them.

This was bound to happen what with DMC4.

 

It's also for PS3, so I doubt it would effect the 360 much.

It's getting cheaper so sales are going up, it's only natural and falls into simple supply and demand, and with more A class games coming it's was going to happen. Wii sales will die down considering alot of people already own one, and Sony has a large fanbase, it's just that not everyone could afford one, like me, but now I can.

 

You guys, look at the price for PS3, it went down to $399 + Christmass= :)

Also, PS3 is a wayy better deal, it has a blu-ray dvd player in it.

 

This is Madness! Not even the game that everyone is talking about manages to outsell the PS3? Madness!

 

Aye, i bet the cost reduction has played a lot in it.

If you couldn't see this coming you must be blind, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

 

I'm glad to see the PS3 is doing better, despite weird reports and lies from Fox News. It has a lot of the games I want that happen to be exclusive. I knew hanging out and waiting, the price would drop and now I can finally near afford one. PS3 has been doing well in Japan and I hope it does better around the world because I've used one and really do think it's a great console. Not putting down the Wii, really, but I just don't really care for most of the games and think I've about got the best games on the Wii that are probably coming out. =:/

Finally someone else gets what I've been saying since the begining. PS3 at launch was $600, cheap blu-ray player was (and still is) $1000. You save $400 at the launch while looking at one feature alone, that gap has only gotten bigger. Yeah, huge rip-off.

BTW the PS3 also has the motion sensor like the Wii does, Sony just sees more potential than "Stuff happens when you move the controller."

o_O What on earth is wrong with the PS3? I basically think both systems are cool and if one outdoes the other in sales...it doesn't matter. They're both great. lol
