Hey gang! With the future of Twitter being somewhat unclear, we're trying our luck on Mastodon. Our handle is:

    @KHVidsNet@masto.ai

We created our account on the masto.ai server, but you can create yours on just about any server you want, and still be able to see/interact with us, as long as your chosen server is public. You can follow that link to create an account (or find another server here).

If/when you do join, let us know in the comments (or through a DM) and we'll give you a follow. If you're here from Twitter, same rules apply. This could quite possibly go nowhere, but the greatest chance of success is us sticking together.

For more info on how Mastodon works (we're still figuring it out too), you can check out this video:

For clarity, this website isn't going anywhere, and barring the unforeseen we'll still be on Twitter. Will probably try cross-posting on Twitter and Mastodon. Just figured we'd try something new :)

Hey everyone, the next batch of Kingdom Hearts III cutscenes in 4K FPS are out now! This one covers all worlds from Monstropolis to Land of Departure.

To recap what makes these videos special, they feature:

    - PC version with Max Settings
    - 4K Resolution
    - 60 Frames Per Second
    - Dual Audio tracks (English, and English without music)

    You can download everything here:
    Kingdom Hearts III Cutscenes (4K)(60FPS)

Alternatively, you can watch the cutscenes online using this YouTube Playlist, mind you the quality is not quite as good, and doesn't have dual audio functionality.

In the next release, we'll be rounding off KH3 with the end-game, DLC, and other loose ends. Look forward to it!

Hey everyone, today we're releasing the first batch of Kingdom Hearts III cutscenes in 4K / 60FPS, at Max PC Settings.

You'll definitely need a beefy hard drive to fit these, as this set alone is nearly 40 GB, and KH3 as a whole will probably be around 130 GB once it's done! As you can imagine though, the quality is stunning; it looks nearly identical to playing the game in real-time on a high-end PC. I understand this isn't feasible for everyone, so we'll be uploading them to a YouTube Playlist as well. The quality won't be quite as good, but for those who want the next-best thing, it's there.

Going with our recent trend, these scenes have 2 audio tracks, one with background music and one without. And thanks to the USMToolkit made by Rikux3, even most pre-rendered scenes can have their music turned off. Those pre-rendered scenes have a few caveats on the music-less tracks: it uses mono audio, so no panning effects, and a lot of sound effects are missing due to how the 5.1 surround was divided up. But dialog is all good: think of it as a cool bonus ;)

    You can download them here:
    Kingdom Hearts III Cutscenes (4K)(60FPS)

This set goes from the start of the game to Kingdom of Corona. I'm doing it in parts because of how much space the raw capture files take up. If I did everything in one go it would fill up my hard drive haha, so I'm moving them to an external drive every now and then. Plus I figured it's better to give people access as soon as possible, what with how long this takes. Hopefully the next part will come out a bit faster.

You can check out our full Cutscene Archive for the rest of the series. See ya around!

Hey everyone! Got another batch of videos for ya.

This time it's Kingdom Hearts 0.2 in 4K! This is the first game in the series that was made with HD/4K in mind, so you'll really notice the difference here: all that fine texture detail looks beautiful. And as a first for us, all real-time cutscenes run at 60 frames per second. Unfortunately this game has a considerable number of pre-rendered scenes so this only applies to about half of them. But it's very exciting dipping our toes into the new world of 60FPS. Maybe we'll see more of that in the future...

To account for double the number of frames, I had to double the bitrate in order to preserve video quality, so just bear in mind these files are going to be on the chonky side.

You can download these gorgeous, silky-smooth cutscenes here:

Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -a fragmentary passage- (4K)(60FPS)(No Subtitles)(Music Toggle)

Other features of these videos include:
-Opening movie upscaled to 4K (using Topaz A.I. Gigapixel V3.1.1)
-Credit text from Opening movie removed. Possble thanks to the textless version of the OP that Square Enix uploaded to YouTube. (Can also download the version with text)
    -No subtitles
-Dual audio tracks: one standard, and one without background music

Check out our full Cutscene Archive to download scenes from all throughout the series.

    More to come, enjoy!

    Hey everyone!

Two days ago marked the 19th anniversary of the original Kingdom Hearts game's release in North America. And with fortuitous, only slightly delayed timing, I just finished my most recent project: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix cutscenes in 4K! Just like our recent 358/2 Days and ReCoded releases, they have some really cool features: no subtitles, and an additional audio track that has the background music turned off, so you can isolate the dialog/sound effects.

And since this was captured from the PC release I took advantage of a couple texture mods. I used the HD Textures mod by TieuLink to make things look even crisper, and the Vanilla Heartless mod by DaniZaya to restore the Heartless to their original, non-Final Mix color palette. Also of note, the music toggle was made possible by TopazTK's Re-Fixed mod by allowing the game's volume sliders to fully mute the BGM when set to 1). And I personally created a mod to Disable Subtitles.

And finally, the pre-rendered Opening, Ending, and Secret Endings have all been upscaled to 4K using machine learning software (Topaz A.I. Gigapixel V3.1.1). Meaning the overall quality should be higher than in the actual game!

Due to the larger file size of these vids, we couldn't include the option to download all of them at once. You will have to download each individually. Apologies for the inconvenience, but I promise they're worth it ;) You can download these absolutely stunning scenes here:

Kingdom Hearts Cutscenes (4K)(no subtitles)(music toggle)

I'm particularly excited about this release as it's a bit of a turning point for us. From here on, our focus is on high-end videos with the absolute clearest quality. 4K resolution is a huge part of that, but we've also moved on to a new video codec. The H265 codec uses a more complex form of compression, which gives us a massive boost in quality without having unreasonably large files (though don't get me wrong: they're still 3-4 times larger than our 1080p vids).

Unfortunately this makes them a bit less compatible. I highly recommend using VLC Player for viewing purposes. If your video editing software is on the older side (more than 5 years old) it may not support them. If this is the case you'd either need to upgrade your software, find a plug-in that fixes it, or re-encode the videos to H264. If you go with the latter, Handbrake is an amazing video encoder (in fact it's what I used for these cutscenes). It can even preserve multiple audio tracks (which most/all future videos will have, in the form of the music toggle). Just go to the Audio tab in Handbrake and click Add Track>Add All Remaining Tracks for each vid.

Had a lot to cover there lol The next announcement will be more brief.

    Enjoy!

Hey gang, got something special for you today! Definitely a game-changer for video editors.

We've updated the Cutscene Archive with new versions of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded scenes. They're direct rips from 1.5/2.5, which means no subtitles. But cooler than that, these scenes have multiple audio tracks: one normal, and one that has sound effects and voices, but no background music! This is a first for us, and I'm sure editors will love it. It's definitely extra work muting the sound in-game then re-adding it manually in Premiere. But I really like the end result.

If you just plan on watching them, I recommend VLC Player since it always defaults to the standard track, whereas other players will sometimes default to the music-less version (though if that happens you can always go to the Audio section of your video player and manually switch it). Unfortunately YouTube doesn't appear to have multi-track audio support (at least for normal users), so these will probably stay download-only for the time being. Here they are, by the way:

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (No Subtitles)(Music Toggle)
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (No Subtitles)(Music Toggle)

Quick note, Re:Coded still has quite a few scenes with baked-in music that I couldn't remove (all ones from the old DS game, and a handful that are new to 2.5). 358/2 Days thankfully only has one scene with this issue (the Xion fight that was absent from the original PS3 release).

In the future I'd like to give this BGM treatment to all the games (perhaps in 4k *hmm*), but that'll take a little while.

Out of nowhere, the Epic Games Store announced that the entire Kingdom Hearts series will be coming to PC on March 30, 2021. This appears to be, at least for now, an exclusive deal to EGS. All games are at their original, full retail price, although Kingdom Hearts III comes with ReMind included at no additional cost. KH3 on PC is also getting its own exclusive Keyblade (re-skin), Elemental Encoder. It's unclear if this is a monochrome Keyblade, or they just haven't revealed the color scheme yet.

In addition to introducing the KH series to a whole new market, this will also open up a lot of possibilities for the modding community.

Do you plan on picking any of these up on PC when they arrive next month?

Recently, I got my hands on some tools that let me extract movie files directly from the Kingdom Hearts HD Remixes, opening up some new possibilities for older games.

Kicking off, I present Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories without subtitles! To my knowledge, a clean rip of the HD version doesn't exist anywhere else on the internet, so that's neat. You can download both parts below:
    Sora
    Riku

In the coming weeks, we'll also be giving the 358/2 Days and ReCoded movies the same treatment. Those two will also have an alternate download option: no subtitles and no music! Surprisingly, all of Days and most of ReCoded (excluding its old DS scenes) have the music on a separate track, allowing for isolated vocals/SFX.

This was made possible through several different tools, but most importantly was the .mself file extractor made by Some1fromthedark. If you are so inclined, you can support them on Patreon.

Small but very cool update: we now have cutscenes from Melody of Memory without subtitles available for download.

This was made possible by a member of the KH modding community, Vladabdf, who was able to rip video files directly from the game. He's currently contributing to OpenKH, a project that aims to expand the community's knowledge of how the Kingdom Hearts games run, and make modding them more streamlined. Check out his Twitter and YouTube. If you have any programming knowledge and an interest in the project, I'm sure they'd appreciate some help.

    Hey everyone,
I've been experimenting with some image upscalers, and was able to convert the KH2 opening sequence into 4k! Aside from doubling the resolution, it also adds clarity by smartly sharpening the image and decreasing video artifacts. It took a solid 15 hours for my computer to process all those frames, so I'm not sure if/when I'll do another of these. Software used was Gigapixel AI from Topaz Labs.

Hey everyone! Got a big update I'm sure some of you were waiting on. We've updated our Kingdom Hearts III Cutscene Archive with all the scenes from the Re Mind DLC, with no subtitles and Kingdom Key only! And as with the rest of the game, these scenes were meticulously edited to remove any stuttering that pops up all too often. Addtionally, certain sequences were recorded in such a way that the background music continues across multiple scenes without any awkward cuts. I really like the end result with how it makes some gameplay sequences feel a little extra cinematic.

We also updated the following videos to reflect changes that were made to some cutscenes from the base game in a patch:
    Keyblade Graveyard
    Scala ad Caelum
    Ending + Credits

We suggest you re-download those to get the most up-to-date versions. If you're a collector who still wants to hold on the older versions for posterity, we got ya covered. At the end of the newly added "Extra + Alternate Scenes" video, we've got the pre-patch cutscenes intact (some scenes are cut down for time, but anything that was changed is still there).

We also recommend re-downloading "The Carribean". There was an editing de-sync error in the Raging Vulture scene that has since been corrected.

Or to keep it simple, just download the Part 2 and Part 3 .zip files at the top of the KH3 archive page, and you'll be all caught up.

Once again we're all caught up. Check out our Cutscene Archive Main Page for all that the scenes that this crazy series has to offer. I'll be patiently/eagerly waiting alongside you to see what the future holds. Until then, may your heart yada yada.

Hello again! In light of KH3’s Re Mind DLC, we have updated the Kingdom Hearts III Unofficial Soundtrack to include all the new music. Bear in mind that track names contain some SPOILERS (boss names and general themes).

Just like last time, some tracks are missing because they can’t be extracted from pre-rendered sequences. Also important: the track names are NOT official. We'll have to wait for an official release for both of those things.

If you already downloaded the old version, we recommend re-downloading the entire soundtrack, because there are a few minor changes (such as removing old tracks from a scene that's been updated, and re-numbering others to reflect that) but if you so choose, you can download JUST the new music by clicking here.

A big “Thank You!” to KHWaterBlock for hooking us up with the source files. Check him out on Twitter and YouTube.

Hey everyone, got a very special treat for ya! Our Audio Archive now features the Kingdom Hearts III Soundtrack. You can download the entire thing with a single click.

This is possible thanks to the efforts of members of the KH community who were able to extract music files straight from the game. I went through the exhausting process of organizing all these files. This includes placing them in order, giving them unique names, compressing them a to reasonable file size, and in some cases editing out long pauses, or even sequencing together tracks that were broken up into multiple files.

There are unfortunately a small handful of tracks that are missing. Any music that plays during a pre-rendered sequence could not be separated from the voices/sound effects. We will have to wait for an official release for those. Also, I did not include every single track from the game, as there are duplicates, and in some cases I excluded tracks that are from previous games. Of course every accessible new track is included.

Please note that the track names are NOT official. For rearrangements of familiar tracks I used the official name, and often added an identifying subtitle (KH3 has a LOT of different arrangements for some themes, so it was very necessary). But for totally new tracks, or arrangements that were very transformative I gave them totally unique names. There's a total of 203(!) files, so to make it easier to find what you're looking for I labeled some with identifiers (Field, Battle, Boss, etc.).

Thank you to KHWaterBlock for supplying me with the uncompressed source files. Check them out on YouTube where they've uploaded most if not all of the KH3 music for streaming, as well as their other Kingdom Hearts-related content.

    Happy listening, see ya later!

Hey everyone! It’s been a long time since our last update, but I’m confident in saying this one is worth the wait. After months of work, I’m happy to announce the Kingdom Hearts III cutscenes - without subtitles and Kingdom Key only - are now online! I’ve put more work into these cutscenes than I probably should have, so let me explain what makes them special.

Unfortunately KH3’s cutscenes run somewhat poorly: they have random frame stutters on a pretty regular basis. To counteract this, I recorded nearly every scene multiple times and edited together the best shots, so everything should be smooth as butter.

On top of that, I went the extra mile and timed my gameplay recordings so that the music loops and continues properly through different scenes. So for example if there’s a cutaway scene in the middle of a boss battle, the music will pick up right where it left off in the scene before, rather than having an awkward cut. Timing it just right was pretty tricky (can’t tell you how long I splashed around in that damn pond with Rapunzel waiting for the music to loop, only for her to run away at the last second), but the result is quite nice.

Now that I’m done patting myself on the back, feel free to download the Kingdom Hearts III Cutscenes. And as always, check out our Cutscene Archive for HD scenes from the entire series.

We are leaving the previously-recorded subtitled KH3 cutscenes up for those who need them, but note that the subtitle-free version is the definitive version, and will be the only one receiving updates of future content.

That’s it for now, but when something new comes out I’ll Re:Mind ya!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all enjoying Kingdom Hearts 3! For many of us this'll be our first full weekend with the game.

As I make my way through I've been recording cutscenes, and I'm happy to say I've got the first batch ready for download! As of this initial post there are only the first few worlds (6 videos total with intro and menu trailer), but I will be posting updates in this thread as I make progress. If you'd like to stay in the loop of what's available, click "Watch Thread" at the bottom of the page to receive notifications. I'll be saying how many videos were added, and the world names hidden in spoiler tags in case you aren't caught up and don't want to know. Bear in mind that the cutscene archive itself will have world names and thumbnails, so be careful if you are avoiding spoilers.

I now present our shiny new Kingdom Hearts III Cutscene Archive!

The scenes on this page are captured from my first playthrough, so they will have whatever Keyblade I was using at the time. However once I'm completely done, I plan on recording everything again using Theater Mode so it is Kingdom Key only, and that version will have subtitles turned off. There may be less scenes in the later version (any small clips that didn't make it into Theater Mode), but it will have smoother edits and be generally better for watching.

As always, you can find cutscenes from all of the Kingdom Hearts games on the main page of our Cutscene Archive.

    Enjoy!
