Hi guys, I'm planning to move out next fall and part of my preparation for that is cleaning out all the **** I've built up over the years. I'll probably be selling some stuff, but for some of my KH items I figured I'd offer them up to you all. I'm willing to give it all away since I don't think any of it is worth much (aside from my action figures but I'm keeping them sorry y'all), I'd rather give them away to fans than sell them. Just cover packaging and shipping and it's yours. First come first serve I guess.

Can provide pics if anyone wants.
    • Bradygames strategy guide for Kingdom Hearts II. Okay condition, maybe 10 pages have fallen out (this is a problem a lot of people have with the guide, the pages are really easy to remove), but I still have them all.
    • Bradygames strategy guide for Dream Drop Distance. Like new condition, just a little dusty.
    • Bradygames strategy guide for Kingdom Hearts. Okay condition, some pages are a little loose, the binding has wear, and there's some rips/parts missing from the cover. Still functions as a guide, just a little worn (I've had it for like 10+ years leave me alone).
    • KH3D Ultimania (it's in Japanese). Like new condition, includes dust jacket.
    • KH3D bag I got at the launch event. I'm holding it in this awful dark picture from 3.5 years ago.
    • A bunch of these postcards. I stole a bunch on the way out of the store. 17 available.
    • KH1.5 Hardcover strategy guide. Includes unused code for digital eGuide.
Imgur album with pics of everything

Upon reflection I have a lot of KH3D stuff considering I have never played it

I've been sitting on these for a while now, but I figure now's a good time to share them with everyone. Back in the day, fan sites would use overly Photoshopped banners rather than the simple logos that head off the page. Most of these you guys will recognize, because we used them for a long time, while others are some nice little bonuses I found in the depths of the staff section.

The original phpbb forum banner, from December 2005 to September 2006.
    View attachment 43222

Our first vBulletin banner, first went up in September of 2006, not sure when it went down.
    View attachment 43223

This banner belonged to what was probably the most beloved version of KHV, design-wise. For some reason Deathspank really liked that graffiti font.
    View attachment 43224

The infamous Funky logo, which we had for something like two years. One person described it as a children's coloring book. I was always fond of it.
    View attachment 43225

This was the first banner or logo I ever did for KHV, circa I think 2009 (the Dark Days skin). I first made it just for laughs then mocked up an entire site design based on it, which poor @Sanya then had to code. I intended to clean it up and make a final version before the skin actually went live but I never did and I felt bad asking RvR to update it (remember when I used to be afraid of you?). There's a few pixels under Axel's chin that shouldn't be there and that I can never unsee. The text is god awful, too. This banner haunts me to this day.
    View attachment 43226

I could dig up some more but I feel the rest were in recent enough history that they won't really feel like throwbacks for anyone. Instead, I've got some goodies...

This banner DS posted in the staff section, I think it had a corresponding skin that never went live too. It showcases once again his weird obsession with this font.
    View attachment 43227

    Same story as above.
    View attachment 43228

    And finally, my personal favorite...
I don't recall the dates on this but DS at one point posted in the staff section asking if anyone would like to try to make him a banner because he didn't consider himself very good at Photoshop. Cin was on staff at the time (and this reflects his gfx style at the time) and posted this little number. I think he was serious about it.
DS never asked for banners again and I like to think this is why.

And then, of course, it did.

Today Deathspank logged in and messaged me. One of the things he said (and I hope he doesn't mind me directly quoting him) was, "Can't believe you're still here after all these years." I stared at it for a few minutes, sitting in my car, checking my messages before I left school for the day. And all I could think was "yeah, but I probably won't be for much longer." It wasn't with sadness or anger or (too much) regret. And it wasn't a "wow, I can't wait to be rid of this place," either. I think it's something I've known for a while but haven't had it in me to commit to or admit. I'm caught between two feelings: first, that this is incredibly spontaneous. I didn't wake up this morning thinking I'd be doing this today, nor have I spent the last few days and weeks deeply pondering this move, drafting and revising this post. Yet, the thought has crossed my mind dozens of times recently, and sitting here and typing this feels like the final step to a journey I started over a year ago.

I love this site. I've grown up on and with this site. It's hard to think about what I or my life would be like without it because I spent my formative years here. The members of this site have been my friends and enemies and parents and partners for the last ten years. I've poured myself into so many projects and efforts through my time here as a staff member. ****, I almost bought the place. It hasn't always been a healthy relationship -- at times, I think I was too close to this site, too involved. I let it consume me. I didn't think about or do anything else and I hurt a lot of people here during those times. But I wouldn't trade these experiences for the world, and I don't know what I would be without this place. I joined as a mixed-up, unsure, insecure 11-year-old, who loved the Kingdom Hearts series and wanted to share that love with others. And I'm leaving, at 20, with a firm grasp on who I am and who I want to be.

It's just time. I mean that as in it's time for me, as everyone inevitably must, to go; I mean that as my reason for leaving, too. I just don't have the time. I'm a full-time student and will be for at least the next few years. I work part-time and I'm in a serious relationship. I have a rather large homework backlog, I'm a manager at my job and can't really take time off. I don't really even get to play video games much any more. Point being, I just don't have time to commit to this place any longer. But it's also "time" in the sense that I'm growing up. These aren't things that are going to change any time soon and, if given the opportunity, I'm not sure I would have them change. I'm happy with my life and where it's going, and I have to prioritize. I wish I could carve out time for this site because I truly do love it, I love the work I've done here, and I love spending time with you guys. But I don't want to be one of those people who sit in their staff positions without the time to commit to them, who just slowly stop logging in. I feel I have to come out and say -- for myself as much as for you guys -- that there are just other things in my life now that take precedent, other things I want to pursue. And it's time to finally make this decision.

On my drive home I thought about all the things I would want to say here but sitting here now typing this, I'm at a loss for words. But I'm thinking now that it's that there's not so much that needs to be said. My reasons for leaving are nothing mysterious or surprising; so many before have left for similar, if not identical, ones. And I don't feel I need to prove to you guys how much I love this place and how sad it is for me to let it go. I think you all know.

One thing I promised myself when driving was that I wouldn't do shoutouts. It's too cliche, I thought, and they feel too much like a goodbye, not to mention the guilt I'd feel when I (inevitably) leave important people out. But **** those reasons, I'm doing it anyway. Half of the people I'm listing here I doubt will ever read this, or read it in a timely manner. Some of them might not give a **** about what I have to say and I don't blame them, but here goes (in semi-alphabetical order).

@Calxiyn: It’s been so much fun doing the podcast with you the past year (or however long it’s been). Keep on posting those crazy KH theories, making videos, doing whatever, you’re such a sweet girl and you remind me every day of the love I had for the KH series.

@Chevalier: I hope you’re well. We were explosive and toxic together and we hurt each other a lot. But I wish you the best, and thank you for the good times.

@DPWolf: I’m sorry for all the **** that went down between us. I’m glad we’re on friendly terms nowadays, even if we don’t have much contact. Good luck with the wedding. I’m incredibly happy for you guys.

@Krowley: The two ways I’d describe you are open and easy to talk to, and those are probably the opposite impressions most people get from you. I’m not sure why, but you’re incredibly warm and a sweet guy and you’ve got great ideas and charisma. Keep doing those Xehanort impressions, and I look forward to you in the next Christmas video.

@Peace and War: I wasn’t ready but I wanted to try, for you. Ending things enabled us both to set off and I’m happy with where I’ve ended up. I hope you are too, and that you don't hate me too much.

@Plums: Alex, I love our casual antagonism. I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing this without knowing that I’m leaving the site in the remarkably capable and responsible hands of you and Nick. Don’t hate me too much for not giving you warning.

@Roxas: Release some new music already.

@Sabby: I feel compelled to write something for you too here, but I think our last conversation on Skype cleared the air on so much that I’ve wanted to sort through with you for years.

@Sara: I can’t thank you enough. You’ve been like a mother to me all these years, guiding and protecting me. You got an unfair rap from some people all those years ago and I’ll fight anyone who tries to speak ill of you. Thank you.

@Scarred Nobody: It’s so important for me to list you here, even if we really never talked one on one that much. I remember the first posts you made on this site and watching you grow and change with me has been such an oddly meaningful experience for me. Hopefully I can donate some blood to you some day.

@libregkd: This isn’t goodbye or the end. I know it might feel that way, but I’m sure you suspected this was coming. I think I may have subconsciously been avoiding you these past few months because to you I’d have to admit how I was feeling and I wasn’t ready to do that. But I’m here for you, even if I’m not, well… on here all the time. Things don’t have to end and I’m not planning on letting them, as long as you’re not.

To the rest of you, there's plenty I'd like to say and I'm sure I will when y'all reply to this thread to tell me how distraught you are over me going. But overwhelmingly, it's thank you. Thank you for making the past ten years incredible and for supporting me and this site. And for listening to the podcast, too -- leaving that is probably one of the hardest parts of this. I've loved doing it and I'll miss it terribly. I hope you guys will have me on as a guest sometimes, so I can talk more about how much I hate Final Fantasy XV.

Thanks so much to the staff, too, both present and past. It's been a joy working with you all. I'll make arrangements to transfer all the accounts and everything over to you.

I will most definitely still be around here. Logging in here is like brushing your teeth, to me: you might miss a day or two sometimes, but most of the time it's just a habit you've come to accept as a part of your daily routine. But should you want to find me elsewhere, or get in touch with me, the best places are Twitter,my personal blog/website, hitting me up on Facebook messenger, or the other links in my signature. Since my time is so unreliable, email is actually a really nice medium for me

It's been a blast and I love you all.

    It feels right.

I know we have a few system builders here, figured it wouldn't hurt to post up a thread.

My laptop is dying a slow heat death and I'm planning to replace it with a custom built PC. I know how to build a PC and know a fair bit about specing out a build. I'm comfortable with $600 as my budget, give or take a little. I don't need an OS because I can get Windows free through my school, but I would like to get a monitor (I have one already that I use as a second display for my laptop when at my desk, but obviously switching to a desktop would mean losing my laptop's display and I've gotten mighty used to a two-screen setup).

I have other peripherals already (keyboard, mouse, speakers, headphones, microphone, the whole shebang). I do need a wireless card too. I was going to add an optical drive but I can probably snag one from the four broken computers laying around my job (I'm pretty sure there's a SATA one somewhere that I can clean up). I know you can install an OS from USB but I like making mix CDs because I never really moved on from 2005.

I'm not planning to do much beyond light gaming on here. I already don't get to play my PS4 enough. The most will be older games (Mass Effect, probably, and ancient games that I can run even on my ~3 year old laptop) and indies. I'm not expecting 1080p 60fps AAA gaming, hence the 750Ti. I do do some audio stuff and video stuff currently on my laptop and it runs okay, so I imagine it'll run fine on this build (even if I could benefit from a beefier system, I just don't have the $$$). For this reason I went with AMD because I'll be using some applications that take advantage of multi-core processors.

Blah blah blah enough talking here's my part list

This week on the KH-Vids Podcast @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn are joined by @Princess ♥ to discuss the corporate structure of the video game industry! Inspired by the release of Metal Gear Solid V, we cover the drama surrounding its release and the Konami/Hideo Kojima breakup, and how gamers can choose not to support certain business practices by not purchasing games. We extend the conversation to anti-consumer DLC and preorder practices within the video game industry, and the break that indie games offer from that system.

As per usual, we answer user-submitted questions! @Graxe taunts @Misty with a Final Fantasy XIII themed question and
@Kingdom Hearts530 wants to know about our favorite anime and manga. For our Table Topics, everyone's inner murderer comes to light and we appreciate our worldly possessions.

It's a fun-filled episode of the KH-Vids Podcast for gamers across the globe!

It's Tuesday (in some parts of the world...) and that means it's time for a new episode of the KH-Vids Podcast!

This week @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn cover the launch of YouTube Gaming, Google's new competitor to the popular and unchallenged Twitch. We mention the basics of the service, discuss the advantages of YouTube Gaming over Twitch, critique its user interface, and address whether streamers and viewers will make the jump from one service to the other.

Afterwards we launch, as always, into user-submitted questions! @. : tale : . asks what games we haven't been able to get into, @Graxe has us react to Mister Monkey, and Table Topics leave us to speculate, once again, our ebbing mortality (okay, maybe just Misty).

It's a fun-filled episode of the KH-Vids Podcast for children across the globe!

and, naturally, need to accumulate hella tunes for the ride. I've assembled a mega-playlist that runs about 18 hours, just to make sure I have enough music on my phone for anything (I recently got a new one), and then a more curated "road trip songs" playlist that's just shy of 5 hours right now.

I've been browsing the internet's many lists of road trip tunes and thought I'd extend the offer to y'all to recommend me some songs. A few guidelines:
    • no need to embed a bunch of youtube videos, just artist and song name will suffice
    • songs should be fun with the possibility of singing along. nothing depressing.
    • looking for a summer indie folk & rock vibe, because that's what I'm into, but I will entertain suggestions outside of that. just use it as your guiding light. some of y'all know what i like, and if you don't, well come talk to me sometime but also check out the list below

A fashionably late podcast, just for you!

This week the KH-Vids Podcast reaches a milestone with our one hundredth episode! @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn along with staff guest @Plums, host our former podcast maestro @Peace and War to reminisce on the history of the KH-Vids Podcast -- to look at where we've been and where we are going!

We begin by covering a small update Tetsuya Nomura gave on the development of Kingdom Hearts III in an interview with OPM UK about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake. We also respond to his comments regarding Square's plans (or lack thereof?) to bring the Kingdom Hearts HD Remixes to the PlayStation 4.

Moving along, we go through a brief history of the beginnings of the KH-Vids Podcast, stretching all the way back to 2010, when @Sabby, @Mike, and @Korra recorded our very first episode. @Peace and War then shares stories of his time at the helm of the KH-Vids Podcast, followed by your current line-up of hosts sharing some insight about the changes we have made to the podcast since we took over. We list some of our favorite and least favorite things about running the Podcast, and each name the best episode we feel we've been apart of!

As always, we answer user-submitted questions! @Graxe suggests alien abduction while @Scarred Nobody tries (and fails) to punch holes in @Misty 's love for Star Wars. We also take a Table Topics on the polite way to juggle two conflicting invitations.

This week we want to hear from you -- the listeners! We want to know what your favorite episodes have been and what you would like to hear (or see!) us do more of here at the KH-Vids Podcast. Finally, we would like to extend an enormous thank you to all our fans, new and old, for supporting the podcast as you do, even if it's by just a simple listen every week. Thank you for being there and helping us reach one hundred episodes -- here's to one hundred more!

It's time for a new episode of the KH-Vids Podcast!

Suffering in the wake of a serious Kingdom Hearts and gaming news drought, the KH-Vids Podcast team sit down to answer both user-submitted questions as well as our randomly selected questions from Table Topics! @Plums and @al215 join @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn for an episode essentially about nothing!

We begin by debating our metaphysical existence (thanks to, you guessed it, @Graxe). Next, we share our relationship with our parents and what we admire most about them. @Quilligan poses the idea of introducing a new trio to the Kingdom Hearts series, to replace Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Following that, we divulge the stories behind our (real) names, and @. : tale : . poses the responsibility of selecting an existing Utada song to serve as the theme to Kingdom Hearts III. Finally, we talk about our favorite amusement park rides and experiences.

It's a fun-filled episode of the KH-Vids Podcast for children across the globe!

Please support and participate in the KH-Vids Podcast by leaving us a comment, answering our user-submitted questions, submitting to be a guest, or sending in questions of your own!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means...!

This week on the KH-Vids Podcast, we're doing things a little differently! @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn take a break from our usual Kingdom Hearts and gaming focus to respond to the Supreme Court's recent ruling on same-sex marriage, which is now federally legal in the United States. We cover the importance of the ruling (legal benefits for those in same-sex relationships), worldwide responses to it, and what effect this may have on the upcoming Presidential elections in 2016.

As per usual, we answer user-submitted questions! @Nobodyslight asks us about podcast tunes, @Plums poses a superpower question, and @Quilligan sets @Misty off on an Adventure Time tangent. We also plug the KH-Vids User Awards once again, as well as the new and improved KH-Vids Minecraft server!

Share your reactions to the Supreme Court ruling and answer our questions for yourself in the comments! Thanks for listening!

Here on KH-Vids, many of our members choose to customize the styling of their posts with unique fonts, colors, alignments, etc. It's a nice way to express your identity on the site, but some users may prefer consistency. Not only that, but now that we offer both dark and light styles, certain colors can be unreadable depending on what style you choose.

We have a pretty simple solution now!

If you head over to your Browsing Preferences, you'll see a new option: disable user styling.

    View attachment 42506

By clicking this box, all posts will now display with the default text styling. For example, with the box unchecked, a user's post may appear as such:

    View attachment 42507

After toggling the option (checking the box), posts will now display like this:

    View attachment 42508

Other BB Code, like bold, italics, spoilers, quotes, and so on, will still work. This should improve readability for users who choose to enable the option.

Big thanks to @libregkd for putting this together!

The KH-Vids Podcast is back! After a two week hiatus, we're coming at you with 96 minutes of pure Kingdom Hearts. What could be better!

Podcast hosts @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn are joined by @Cat~, @Karuta, and @KeybearerofSea to cover the presence of Kingdom Hearts at this year's E3 conference -- majorly and unsurprisingly, the new Kingdom Hearts III trailer. We begin by sharing our thoughts on Sora's brand new costume for Kingdom Hearts III, which slims and simplifies our plucky protag. After arguing about glove length for a few minutes, we launch into our full analysis of the trailer, covering fan theories on chess pieces and calendars, the expansive new maps and environments (including the confirmation of a Tangled world!), Attraction Flow and Keyblade Transformation attacks, and much, much more!

We also mention the less-thrilling but always adorable Unchained X[chi] trailer, as well as the absence of any new HD remasters for the Kingdom Hearts series at E3.

Our user-submitted questions this week center around the trailer, with @Scarred Nobody asking what other Disney attractions we hope to see in the title and @Quilligan looking for our new world wishlist. Finally we plug some new developments within our community, including our site's new design and the return of the KH-Vids User Awards.

It's a podcast episode perfect for any Kingdom Hearts fan! As always, you can support and participate in the KH-Vids Podcast by leaving us a comment, answering our user-submitted questions, submitting to be a guest, or sending in questions of your own -- and have a Kingdom Hearts day!

Hi everyone, and welcome to the first in a new series of threads I'll be creating within this section! Have You Seen threads highlight features and functionality on KH-Vids that users may not initially notice or know how to operate, or just new things we've added that we'd like to draw attention to!

Each thread will include images and information on the features, and users are welcome to reply with any comments or questions about the features. Please note, of course, that suggestions for new features should be created as new threads in this section -- help us keep organized!

    Expand & Collapse Buttons

The first feature I'm showing off today is a small but useful addition to the site -- one that members who were with us during our vBulletin days may miss. They're expand and collapse buttons throughout the site! On a forum as large as ours, scrolling through the index can be a bit of a pain -- especially when you don't visit certain sections. We now let you collapse categories, to make your index shorter and a bit more tailored to your interests.

    Collapsing Nodes (Categories)
Nodes can be collapsed by toggling a plus/minus button in the category header.

    View attachment 42490

    Collapsing the Sidebar
Similarly, the sidebar can be collapsed on the pages where it appears, giving you a wider view of the main content (which expands to fill the open space). This option is available on any page with sidebar, though it excludes certain mobile devices (phones, especially), because the sidebar already moves to the bottom of the page to accommodate the narrow screen.

    View attachment 42491

Best of all, your settings will be saved, so if you don't give a hoot about the Kingdom Hearts sections, you can collapse them and effectively never have to see them again. But why would anyone do that, right?

A back to top button is nothing to new to KH-Vids and nothing particularly innovative, but a handy feature all the same. Our previous implementation was slightly janky, however, as it relied on a third-party add-on that is no longer maintained. The new one is much improved!

    View attachment 42492

It's a simple addition but a nice feature to have!

Don't like the button? That's okay, my feelings aren't hurt. You can save yourself a few milliseconds on page load and prevent it from showing by toggling it in your Browsing Preferences.

    Conversation View

Personal Conversations are a handy tool to chat with your fellow users in a more private setting, but there's really no need to display the expanded information found in posts (like message count, location, etc.), especially when you have relatively brief messages. Our new styles offer a more condensed view.

    View attachment 42493

Obviously, if you want more information about the user or to head to their profile, you can click their avatar, their name in the message meta (the bar with the edit/report buttons), or their name in the Conversation Participants box. It's a nice space-saver, especially on mobile devices.

    Ribbon BB Code

Since its introduction, the Ribbon BB Code has been a popular way to create headers within posts. Unfortunately, past styles didn't really display it very nicely, especially on mobile devices.

View attachment 42495 View attachment 42494

Naturally, the Ribbon BB Code has been improved for our new styles (in fact, you can see it in action on this very post). Notice how it wraps around the edge of the post now.

On a mobile device? No problem! We eat mobile devices for breakfast. The Ribbon will automatically adapt to fit your screen.

Users can create Ribbon headers in their posts by wrapping the ribbon BB Code around their desired text, like so:
    Code:
    [ribbon]This is my header text[/ribbon]
That concludes our first Have You Seen post! Expect many more on the way, highlighting existing features and alerting you of new ones.

Please note that some of these screenshots and gifs were taken off our test board throughout development of our styles, and therefore may not reflect the final product.

In a whirlwind of announcements for Kingdom Hearts fans, series director Tetsuya Nomura took to the Square-Enix blog to address fans directly. You can read the full text below.
Be sure to check out and share your thoughts on the new Kingdom Hearts III and Unchained χ trailers.

To complement their E3 conference earlier today, Square Enix presented a special Spotlight on Kingdom Hearts event just now with series director Tetsuya Nomura and co-director Tai Yasue.

The pair began by answering questions on Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. When asked about the differences between Unchained χ and the original browser game, Nomura confirmed that the storyline will be basically the same, with a bit of differentiation. Unchained χ takes place in the "earliest part" of Kingdom Hearts history, right before the Keyblade War erupts. Unchained χ will feature characters not yet seen in the main Kingdom Hearts storyline and will play a "key part" in the major plot.

When asked about the art style in Unchained χ, Nomura described how the basis of the setting began in the story Kairi's Grandmother told about the Keyblade War in the original Kingdom Hearts. Unchained χ's art was inspired by storybooks and fairy tales, as players listen in on the lead-up to the Keyblade War.

Nomura hopes Disney fans will enjoy the characters that appear in Unchained χ, as familiar characters from past Disney worlds are more than likely to show up. The new trailer for Unchained χ will "peak your interest" in the story and fans should pay attention to the dialogue and text bubbles.

After another showing of the trailer for Unchained χ, the group moved on to discussing Kingdom Hearts III, beginning with the new Tangled world revealed in today's trailer. The development team behind Kingdom Hearts III really wanted to feature Tangled, inspired by Rapunzel's strong personality and hair. A short video with Roy Conli and Greg Coleman was shown; the former feels that Tangled's theme of finding oneself fits in well with Kingdom Hearts and was pleased that the development team was spending so much time on the graphics of Kingdom Hearts III, particularly Rapunzel's hair.

Nomura and Yasue were not prepared to reveal any more Disney worlds (though a new one may be announced "very, very soon"), but confirmed that the ones slated to appear in Kingdom Hearts III will primarily be "newer areas" that have not been experienced before.

New gameplay elements were also discussed and, naturally, new enemies. The Heartless of Kingdom Hearts III will cooperate with one another, adding "variety and range" to the battles in the game. The dandelion Heartless shown in the trailer, for example, will spawn more Heartless as they are hit.

The hosts of the event asked Nomura about Sora's new costume, which was also revealed today. Nomura noticed the Kingdom Hearts II costume was popular and considered keeping it, but as a proper numbered title (and with pressure from the development team), Nomura designed the new outfit. Sora's new costume mixes the aesthetics from Kingdom Hearts II and Dream Drop Distance, and features a more "sleek" and "sporty" look to support Sora's more dramatic and action-oriented movements. Sora remains the same size and proportion from Kingdom Hearts II, though his hair is less wild and his outfit less decorated.

Following the costume chat, the panel returned to Kingdom Hearts III's gameplay. The double bow gun and magic blaster attacks are some of the many Keyblade Transformations that will appear in the title. The Attraction Flow attacks bring the excitement and thrill from their Disney Parks counterparts to the game. The Mad Tea Party attack, for example, originally placed the player in Sora's perspective, but the wild movement of the camera proved too sickening and had to be changed.

In creating the trailer, the team prepared many different materials but were limited by the length of the video, and chose to feature flashy, eye-catching moments. While Nomura joked that they could have shown more Kingdom Hearts III assets during the spotlight, rather than host the interview, they promised to share more Kingdom Hearts III material through the year, particularly at D23 Expo Japan this coming November.

To sign off the presentation, Yasue says that fan encouragement and support keeps the team motivated and makes late nights and exhaustion worthwhile. Nomura seemed overwhelmed by the amount of preparation that went into E3 2015, for Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII, but he was happy that so many turned up to see their work.

With major announcements already made at Sony's press conference last night, including a new Hitman title, World of Final Fantasy, and the mythical Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square has already built hype for their own conference. Given these three titles and their considerable lineup of in-development western titles, one has to wonder about the presence of the Kingdom Hearts series if it appears at all. As committed fans, we'll have to hold onto hope and wait and see!

The event will be streamed to various sources; you can check out Square's official streams from the links above, or watch through IGN's live coverage below (Nintendo Direct will show before Square).
