Ok, me and Locke&Kefka played through the ENTIRE storyline of Dirge of Cerberus last night, and we had multiple cheap laughs at this games expense. Now it's time to share those feelings with you through fanart and captions!!!

A truer statement has there never been. When you are listening to Hojo prattle on at 4 in the morning, this is EXACTLY what you want to do.

    Ok, this is Vincent Valentine and Shelke Kissing. Now I'm going to tell you why this is very very disturbing. Vincent is 30. Shlelke is a 19 year old trapped in a 10 year old's body. this doesn't happen in the game, but it is insinuated. Vincent is a total Pedo -.-;;

This is Weiss the Immaculate (It's pronounced Vise. His name is German, and all of his followers say Hail Weiss! Go Figure >>) Weiss is dead. You find this out at the end of the game after you have been searching for him the entire game. Then he is resurrected with the mind of a deranged Doctor named Hojo and Infused with the power of a weapon named Omega which is supposed to bring about the end of all life. Yes this is as ridiculous as it sounds.

    This is Shalua. She is a scientist. Shalua doesn't have an eye, and her left arm is robotic. Her normal attire is three random strips of cloth held by random piees of cloth with a lab coat. This is a trend in this game. No women are fully clothed. It was like a bad FF Soft-core Porn -.-;;

And that is all the time I have for today folks! I hope you enjoyed laughing at the ridiculous of this game as much as I did!

    And remember: "Wutai Pest!"

Well, it is going around that there is going to be 1 or 2 more third party characters beside Solid Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and I'm curious who you all would like to see. No Poll cause I want to hear all opinions and responses.

The only rule for the third party characters is they have to have appeared on a Nintendo system at some point.

I heard a rumor (From DA) that apparently, A KH character is a *possible* inclusion, and if they were, it would obviously be Sora. I think this would be a great idea, as the art style would transition smoothly into Super Smash Bros. And being able to have a heartless as a possible item amuses me XD

Apparently the most called for Third Party Character is Sonic, which I think could definitly be likely, epecially since he has mostly appeared on nintendo systems since Sega went to other consoles. I think it would be cool if they did his character ala Ice Climbers and had Tails follow you around everywhere. (I'd enjoy killing Tails in SSBB as much as I did in Sonic 2 >D)

Another character I think would be a likely inclusion is Megaman, as he has pretty much always been on Nintendo, and he got his start there. I think he would incorporate well into the universe, and they could give him a wide array of attacks.

So, what are all your opinions? I'm curious as to who you all would like to see, and who you think will be in it. These are two seperate things remember. Also remember that the character has to have appeared on a Nintendo console at some point in their life.

Author's Note: Well, I decided to give this Story of the Week thing a go ahead. Who knows how I'll do, but let's give it a shot.

This story is a songfic based around the song "Soldier Side" by System of a Down, one of my favorite bands. The song fits the mood of the story as well as enhance it in my opinion (Since I built the story around the song.) Have fun reading it to all who give it a gander. And I'll move it into the regular story section after the competition.

A tear rolled down Kairi’s cheek as she ran her hand over the rough texture of a tombstone. It was the color of granite, firm and strong. The tiny obelisk was lavishly decorated with a picture of two angels, one playing a french horn, one playing a trumpet. She ran her fingers over these pictures, then traced out the words “A Dearly Departed Friend and Sonâ€. Tears came hasrder as she drew her hand away from the final wording on the tombstone, the word’s seeming painful to touch.

    Sora
    1988-2006

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dead men lying on the bottom of their graves
    Wondering when Savior comes
    Is he gonna be saved
Maybe you’re a sinner into your alternate life
    Maybe you’re a joker
    Maybe you deserved to die.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tears fell freely from her eyes now as she curled up, her chest almost touching her knees as she knelt on the ground. She raised her fist and brought it down hard on the soft ground over Sora’s empty grave, the mud making a squishing sound as it swallowed up a bit of her hand. News of Sora’s death had reached them weeks ago, but there had never been a body recovered.

“Couldn’t even give him a decent funeral…†she sobbed quietly, not noticing the new presence as it moved up beside her.

“Kairi…come home. It’s been two days now…†Riku knelt down beside the crying girl, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. She leaned into him as she started sobbing softer, his cool resolve seeming to freeze her emotions in place. She brought her eyes up to meet the man who was dressed entirely in black, showing in his own way the feelings he couldn’t express. Half a decade of fighting had made him cold to the world, but even he felt the loss of his close friend.

“I miss him too, Kai, but weeping here at his tombstone and wasting away to nothing isn’t going to bring him back, and it certainly isn’t how he’d want you to live your life,†Kairi turned her head back to the tombstone, staring at the angels again as she nodded solemnly. Riku helped her stand up, then wrapped his arms around her and began to lead her away. She threw a glance back towards the grave, seeing a smiling sxteen year old boy waving at her, only to disappear as she blinked her eyes. She pressed her face against Riku’s chest as the two walked out of the graveyard towards Riku’s home.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They were crying when their sons left
    God is wearing black
He’s gone so far to find no hope
    He’s never coming back
They were crying when their sons left
    All young men must go
He’s come so far to find no truth
    He’s never going home.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Riku opened the door to his house, walking in with one arm draped around Kairi, the other stuffing his keys into his pocket, then pulling the door shut behind them. He lead her through the short entrance hallway and into his living room, plopping Kairi down onto his couch.

“I’m going to get us something warm to drink,†Riku said, bending over to look in Kairi’s face and smiling hopefully at her. She nodded weakly as she stared at the wall, her eyes distant and empty. Riku sighed and stood up, heading off toward his kitchen.

Kairi continued to stare out the window, her mind racing so fast she couldn’t pin any thoughts down. She felt numb, just as she always did around the silver-haired knight. He seemed to absorb her hurt into himself, and she felt as though it was possible to continue on whenever he was around. She put her forehead into her hands and tried to cry, but tears would not come. They seemed to have dried up on the walk over.

“Here you go,†Riku handed her a coffee mug filled with hot cocoa as he sat down, steam rising from the surface of the fresh drink. “I made it with milk the way you like it,†Riku said, chuckling nervously.

“Thank you…†Kairi spoke softly, her voice barely above a whisper. She sipped on the drink, the sensation of it burning refreshing her as it ran over her tongue and down her throat. She chuckled without thinking. “It’s hot.â€

“That’s the general idea behind hot cocoa,†Riku said as he sat his cup down. “Though it could probably stand to be a bit cooler.â€

“Yeah,†Kairi sat her cup down as well, next to Riku’s own mug. The two sat in silence for a moment before Riku attempted to break the silence.

“Kai…I know yo—†Riku’s sentence was cut short as Kairi placed her hand on his leg and preseed her lips against his. As she moved her face away, Riku stared at her in surprise. Afraid she had upset him, Kairi turned away and blushed, feeling foolish for what she had just done. Undaunted, Riku grabbed her chin and brought her face back to meet his own, pressing his lips against hers.

Kairi wrapped her arms around Riku’s torso and pressed into him, lying on top of him as the two began to kiss passionately. He rubbed his hands on her back as they adjusted to laying beside one another, Riku’s back facing off the couch so that Kairi wouldn’t fall off. Pulling away from the kiss, Riku stared into Kairi’s eyes.

“Is this what you want?†He looked into Kairi’s eyes as he brought a hand up to rub along the side of her face.

“I just want to forget…†Kairi said, pressing her lips to Riku’s neck. He ran his fingers through her hair, a bittersweet look on his face. He had Kairi in his arms, but he couldn’t help but feel like this should never have come to pass as the two began to kiss again, grabbing at one another in desperate longing.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Young men standing on the top of their own graves
    Wondering when Jesus comes
    Are they gonna be saved
    Cruelty to the winner,
Bishop tells the king his lies
    Maybe you’re a mourner
    Maybe you deserve to die.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kairi awoke to find herself still in Riku’s arms. His chest was bare as was hers, the two laying on the couch, having fallen asleep in one another’s arms after having decided to stop before going to far. Looking around, Kairi found her shirt lying near the couch. Turning back to Riku, she brushed some of his long hair out of the way and kissed his forehead before lifting up her arm to slip out of his grasp. Riku grunted but didn’t wake up as Kairi slid her shirt back on, looking at the silver-haired soldier once more before slipping out of Riku’s front door and into the night.

The air was frigid and biting tonight, the wind raising up over the ocean next to the small town, blowing through her clothing with ease, causing Kairi to grab at her sides as she tried to warm herself up. She had no real destination in mind even though she knew she should be heading home, but she allowed her feet to guide her as she moved through the streets. Before she realized where she was going, she found herself back in the graveyard, moving towards an empty grave.

The hurt started coming back with every step, each one seeming to shoot pain up her spine as she began to think once more of Sora and how he was never going to return.

“Even if he did,†she muttered to herself, “I couldn’t let him be my first kiss anymore.†Kairi was grateful to Riku. He had had no qualms about stopping where they did, agreeing it was in both of their interests not to go any further than they had. She had never even been kissed before, and she didn’t want to bypass everything in one night.

Looking up, she tried to find the familiar sight of Sora’s headstone. She wanted to see it gain, maybe even fall asleep out here as she had done the two nights prior. Riku would be hurt, but she truly didn’t care. Her heart and mind were being torn violently in two different directions.

As she neared the grave, she realized there was already someone there. The figure wore a dark black cloak that made him nearly invisible in the low lighting of the graveyard. He stood staring down at the gravesite, not noticing Kairi approach. She could hear the man chuckling, but it was a sad and heartbroken tone. The figure turned in surprise as Kairi’s foot crushed a twig underneath a tree, her anger and rage starting to overtake her.

Who would Laugh at this? At Sora’s death, at his grave?! This is my spot!

“Who are you?†Kairi challenged, daring the figure to speak. The visage turned away, the dark making it impossible to discern any type of features hidden underneath the hood of his cloak.

“Someone who has given in to the dark,†A familiar tone radiated from the cloack, but it seemed twisted and worn out. Kairi could still tell who it was though. She could never forget the sound of that voice.

    “Sora?!â€

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They were crying when their sons left
    God is wearing black
He’s gone so far to find no hope
    He’s never coming back
They were crying when their sons left
    All young me must go
He’s come so far to find no truth
    He’s never going home.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“I’m sorry, Kai…You weren’t supposed to find me,†the boy peeled off his hood, exposing the face beneath. His long messy hair had been cut short, a large scar cutting across his left cheek as well. One of his eyes was the same penetrating blue it had always been, but the other was blood red. Both his eyes reflected a hard heartedness she had never seen in them before.

“Sora, what happened?†She approached the boy with her hand outstretched to stroke the side of his face, but he stepped away from her, looking towards the ground.

“I fell to darkness, Kai…I’m not even supposed to be here. I turned on and attacked Riku, but he defeated me. I told him to leave me and watch over you, and as a last request he swore he would. I even tried to take my own life, but I was to weak to even do that…†Sora closed his eyes and turned back to the headstone. “At least here I’m dead and remembered as I was…â€

Kairi shooke her head fiercely as Sora turned back around to her. She stared into his eyes, a light shining forth that hadn’t been present since the day she had received word of Sora’s death. Seeing it, Sora smiled.

“There’s the light. I’d forgotten where to look,†Sora snapped his fingers and a dark cloud of smoke began to appear around his body, swallowing him up and disappearing, Sora missing as well. Kairi dove at the smoke, but grasped only air as she landed with a wet thud and skidded into his gravestone.

    Welcome to the Soldier Side
Where there’s no one here but me
People al grow up to die
There is no one here but me.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tears fell freely from Kairi’s eyes once again as she heaved and sobbed, ignoring the wound that was bleeding on her back from the collision with the stone. He was alive, but he no longer cared for her. She couldn’t take it. She tried to think of any way to end everything, a way to escape this wretched existence.

“If you forgot where to look why didn’t you just ask for help you ***!†Kairi screamed at the top of her lungs, her voice shrill and cracking as her rage began to take over her once more.

Atop a nearby building, Sora listened to Kairi cry, but he didn’t shed a single tear for the girl. He felt like the monster he was, because he knew worse than anything, that it wasn’t that he hated Kairi or Riku. Hate was as powerful and passionate an emotion as love. What he felt was total indifference, the true opposite of love. He didn’t care what happened to Kairi now, whether she lived or died. He was hollow, but he was alive.

“Goodbye, Kairi,†Sora snapped his fingers again and disappeared. He didn’t know his destination, all he knew was he would keep on living in this empty existence, never knowing how to care again.

Elsewhere, Riku sat alone on the couch, his head in his hands. He knew in his heart right where Kairi had gone, he didn’t need to go find her to prove that. He knew all along shecould never care for him as she had Sora, and allowing himself to believe that this wasn’t true only made the loneliness worse.

“Sora…why’d it have to turn out like this? Weren’t you the one who followed your heart? I used to want to be you…â€

Title tells it all folks! I have gathered an inexhaustable amount of amazing fantasy art, and I've decided to share it with the masses. I have created a photobucket with all of my art. I am currently uploading all of the art, so it isn't all on there, but it is coming XD Also, there is going to be a decent amount of KH fanart on this photobucket as well. Basically, I need a place to dump all of my art from my comp so that I can delete it all and make some room on my comp @_@ So here is the site:
    Twilightsowns Photobucket
The password is my name. IF you don't know that, then you should become friends with me XDD I may consider giving you my name if you tell me what you want the art for...or I could just tell it if someone asks...also, please don't add anything to the photobucket. I'm being generous and showing this to everyone, so please don't abuse this...
Hope you all enjoy the awesome art XD

    Falling Rain

Well, I posted a poem today, so I figured a story wouldn't be bad as well ^_^ This one is short, but its one I really liked, and is actually a Kairi x Riku as much as it is a SoKai (Yes, the So Kai fanatic wrote a Kairi x Riku back in the day...) Without much further to do, here it is.
(Special note: I'm posting this story as it originally was, which was NOT a fanfic. On my fanficiton acount I have put it to a song, but I wanted to see how it looked without it, and I figured you guys would be a good audience to bring it back in its old format!)
    -------------------------------------------------
Summary: [The longing of the heart can cause extraordinary things to happen, even some we do not wish] Kairi ponders where Sora is as she goes about her life five years later. SKR oneshot [Twilight To Dawn]
    -------------------------------------------------

    Drip...drip...drip...

    Rain falls slowly from overhead

As I wonder once again, where am I going now?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wandering down the main thoroughfare into the city, wondering always where you are. I’ve never been able to forget you, but it seems you have forgotten me. The pain in my heart from waiting for so long grows larger and larger each day, but still you do not return, and now it is too late.

We are to be wed in three days. I know that you two were friends, but you both have liked me since then. He came back, and you didn’t, what am I supposed to do? I feel good when he is around, but not like when you were here. You were always able to put a smile onto my face, never knowing fear, always smiling, even those times when you were about to die.
I have waited five years for you, but I have grown tired of waiting. I wish for my heart not to do so, wish I had never agreed to this, but he was so kind, and you were never around. Why? He has shared so much with me, concerning you, him, and all that happened since you left me that day. I have fallen for him, the way I had once done for you. You were my first true love, and you shall remain there, always in my heart, but always distant, even if you are ever to actually return.

Will you appear now? He is so happy, being with me, and I cannot deny him that, for I care for him, but not to the extent I do for you. So I make one final request, if you do care, return to me now, or you will forever lose your chance.

    “Kairi, is something wrong”

He looks into my eyes, puzzled at why I am acting so distant right now. Hands entwined we walk together down the main thoroughfare into the town. We go today to finalize the agreement, to ask a pastor to reside over the ceremony. Riku wishes to have his childhood pastor do so, and I am fine with this. I never really was one for large ceremonies, but I now wish to make him happy.

“No, nothings wrong, guess I’m just a little nervous.”

    “Were you thinking about him?”

He is able to read me so easily now. After spending so much time together, you are bound to know things about each other, and with great love, mind reading seems to become a must. He always knows how I feel, and your never here, why should I have second thoughts? He made every effort to return, and you have not even sent word to me over these long years. He deserves this, and you have failed to return.

“Yes, but it is nothing, even if he were to come back, it would not alter the choice I have made.”

He smiles at me, glad to know this, as he has always feared you. He knows that I care deeply for you, that are hearts are intertwined, but today I make a promise to myself: I shall allow another to break that barrier, he deserves this much. I do not know that if you did return what I would do, for I have not seen you in so long, would I immediately turn from him, or would I hold fast to my decision? I know not, and now I almost hope you do not return. You have been gone for five years, I almost hope that it will be three days longer.

We meet the pastor, and arrange the event, three days later. I know that I must go through with this now, no matter how I feel toward you. Why did you take so long? Why could you not have simply come back to me? I go home soon after this, and for what is to be one of my last nights, I sleep alone in my bed.

    “Kairi...”

A sweet soft voice calls out my name. Who could it be, he sounds so familiar.

    “Kairi...”

Again I hear my name, but know not from where it comes. I turn in my sleep, then realize, I am not asleep, I am awake. I sit upright in bed, and stare deeply into a pair of deep blue eyes, cold and piercing, yet warm and loving at the same time.

    “Kairi...I’ve come home at last...”

He has finally returned. He looks different, one arm all black, curling into claws at the end. His face holds a scar on one cheek, and his other arm is cut badly. As I look more closely, I notice that the wounds are fresh, and that he is still bleeding.

    “Sora! You’re hurt”

I move to stand up, but he forces me to sit back down. He stares deeply into my eyes, obviously in great pain, and takes a deep breath before he speaks again.

“Kairi, I am not much longer for this world. I wished to see you one last time, and so I have. I know that you and Riku will be happy together, I’m only glad I could see you again.”

Not much longer for this plane? Was he saying that he was dying? I had to do something, I wasn’t going to lose him again!

“Sora, please let me go get the doctor...”

As I said this, tears began to stream down my face. I knew that he was dying, but I also knew he wasn’t going to allow me to do anything about it. Why? I was here, and I could help, get the doctor, save the one whom I loved. Why would he not permit me to help?

“I’m sorry Kairi, but I have cause people to much pain, I have become someone that I do not wish to be, and I have committed a crime that I do not wish to remember...Please, allow me to leave this world in your arms, just as I had hoped to live it...”

He collapsed into my hands as he said this, he weighed nothing. He seemed so different, his eyes reflecting so much pain and so much happiness. I held him closer, and felt the warm tears stream down his face and fall into my lap. I wished to hold him forever, but as I sat there, I felt the life leave him, and he slumped into my arms even more. I looked outside, and saw that the rain had intensified. He was gone, and I was left only with Riku.

I picked up the phone I dialed Riku’s number. Only he should have to see this. No one else in town should even know. He and I would bury him, and never tell anyone, keeping the memory of our friend alive within us. As I sat there waiting for Riku to come over, I remembered the last words that he had said as he breathed one last time.

“Live happily ever after, my princess...”

    ~fin~

A child who has forgotten memories,

a silent wanderer who no one knows,

a quiet girl caught in her mysteries,

a chaos stricken girl who has but woes.

One who was left upon a small island,

summoned forth at a meteor shower.

Memories erased when she first came, and

left to a place where none ever knew her.

A tan haired soldier who found her one day,

upon the beach where she would first arrive.

A blue eyed wonder to show her the way,

a gentle hand lent to help her survive.

Two hearts that shall now be joined anew,

that whisper to each other, “I love you.”

Summary: [The selfless love of another can often lead to pain for the one they loved] Why do the ones we love seem to be the ones who always get hurt? Would it not better be ourselves than them? (Twilight to Dawn)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Running, ever running. I’d been chasing after her for what seemed like days now, but in truth, it had not been much time at all. Every step seemed to take longer, every battle seem to be harder, almost as if fate did not wish me to see her again. But I took every step; slew every monster, nothing, not even the gods themselves would keep me from her.

The other that loved me traveled along silently, lost in her own thoughts about the one we are chasing. She had known me far longer, but something about Aeris seemed special and welcoming, something I hadn’t always felt from Tifa. Sure, she had always cared, and always would, but she seemed to be hiding things from me, almost as if she knew that something about me wasn’t right. We both knew we had to do something though. We could not just leave her to face him alone.

Strangely enough Yuffie also accompanied us. I had never known whether or not she was friend or foe, but for the time being she was an ally. She had befriended Aeris, or I should say, Aeris befriended her. Yuffie tended to keep to herself, but Aeris always tried to make her feel welcome. I guess that Yuffie felt she owed Aeris for that.

Why had you run off alone, going to a fate you knew that you did not want nor except? Sephiroth shares no qualms against challenging fate and you knew he would follow. You knew but you went all the same. Through the sleeping forest to the Ancient’s long dead city. Why had you left me? Was it because I could not control myself? The fact that I had attacked you, almost slain you, just so that I could give Meteor to Sephiroth? Or was it something different altogether? Had you not known that I would follow? So many questions now circulated in my head. And I longed to have them answered, so as to do something about my worry, I ran even faster, usurping even the lightning fast Yuffie for the lead of our three member pack, longing to reach you as soon as I could.

A canyon loomed into view as we reached the end of the forest. A great mass of archaic structures and scattered bones now adorned my view, as our destination finally came into view. I stopped momentarily, taking in the mastery of it all. I knew not what I would do, only that something must be done. I did not wish to lose one that was so near to my heart. I began the descent into the canyon, my two female party members following quickly in my wake.

None of us had spoken since we had begun this journey. I did not wish to force either of them to do so. We all knew what would happen if I...we lost her. We would never be able to replace her; she was like the soul of our escapades, the most innocent and caring of us all. Why of all people did she have to be the Cetra? Why not someone more suited to the task? Then a thought crossed my mind. Who was more suited to this task? There was not another person on this planet that cared for anyone as much as she did; maybe that was why she was chosen. This did nothing but make me feel worse though. Losing her would be a great blow to us all.

I came to a crossroads. I could go left, right, or forward, but something was calling me to the right. I ran down it, noting two buildings on the path ahead of me. Not knowing where to begin, I decided we should check these both out. I walked into the first one, and noticed a small glowing ball of what appeared to be concentrated mako near the entrance to the house. I walked up to it, curious as to what it was. As I approached, a dozen or so voices in a language I did not understand bombarded my senses. I could not tell what they said, but they all seemed to be crying out in pain. The voices of the Cetra that had returned to the planet, I found this much out as I stood there listening. I don’t know how long I stood there before I started to grow weary. My eyelids grew heavy, and my knees buckled. I crashed onto the ground, and everything went black.

When I awoke, I noticed it was dark outside. Yuffie and Tifa sat next to each other, talking about what are next move should be, and then something in their conversation caught my attention.

“...Did you see him too?” Yuffie said.

“I think so, but are you certain it was him?” Tifa responded.

“Positive, you don’t see someone carrying a sword like that dressed in all black just anywhere you know.”

At this I bolted upright in my bed. A sudden wave of fear and anxiety shot through me. So he was here. Sephiroth had come to ruin my life again, I would see to it that he at least had someone to try to stop him this time.

I arose swiftly, grabbing my sword, and quietly motioning for the girls to follow me. They both realized what I meant, each grabbing their own weapons. We climbed down a nearby ladder and walked out of the building.

This time, something called me back towards the center of the crossroad I had been at earlier, but it wanted me to go straight this time. Something told me my questions would be answered down this way. Little did I know that I would gain more questions here than answers.

We followed the path to a small building, or at least it appeared small. It was imbedded in some rock, and as soon as you stepped inside you realized just how grandiose this building was. I looked around on the current floor we were on, and noticed a glowing flight of stairs coming out of the middle of the room. That was where I must go, that was where I would find her, or at least what I was searching for.

The stairs seemed to stretch on forever. I lost count after a hundred or so. What I thought was a large building before turned out to be ten times the size I had thought it was. There was an entire altar down here, complete with a church, and all of this was hewn into glimmering rock, of what’s origins I knew nothing of. I finally reached the bottom of the stairs, and headed for the church, it was the only way I saw of getting to the small altar where I felt something calling me.

I arrived at some stepping stones, and realized that there was only enough room for one to pass at a time. I stopped moving and turned around, facing my two companions.

“I need to do this on my own.”

They both nodded at me, and I began to hop across the stones in an attempt to reach the small altar that lay ahead. There she was, in all her glory, praying to long forgotten gods, trying to give us some last great hope that I knew nothing of. Suddenly I lost control of myself once again.

I stepped forward, not of my own impulse, but by that of another’s. I walked slowly toward her, screaming at myself to stop, but my body refused to listen. I stopped in front of her, scanning her over with cool determination. I reached behind my back, grabbing onto my blade.

    “No!!”

Still my body refused to listen; I managed to slow my self down. I moved my arms back, building up strength for the strike. Once. Twice. Three times I raised the sword higher, always building up more and more lethal power, enough to end her life in one clean strike. I felt my blade begin to fall, when suddenly a voice called out to me.

    “Cloud, stop!”

Almost as if by an accident or a miracle, I regained control of myself, and stopped the blade, inches from her head. I noticed a few strands of her hair fall to the floor, I had come so close to slaying the one that I loved, my light, but I had managed to stop myself. She opened her eyes when she heard the call, and stared deeply into my own.

Never had I felt so much love from one person as I did right then. She stared deeply into my eyes, and I into hers. A smile escaping her lips, then it was ended.

As I stared on in horror and disgust, a large blade pierced through her. A blade that only one man could wield. One so massive, that few had ever faced it and lived. I was one of those few. Aeris was not. She opened her eyes one last time, and she almost seemed to apologize to me. I pleaded for her not to, but then there was no life left within her to plead with. She closed her eyes one last time, and fell to the ground, her ribbon coming undone, and the white materia she carried falling from her head. I watched as it bounced down from the floor and fell into the water. I ran to her, catching her in my arms. She did not deserve this. If anyone did it was me, but not her. She had never wronged anyone, never done anything to harm another living soul, yet she was the one who had to die. All because she was a Cetra, all because she was different, the only one of us who could truly save the world.

I looked up into those hate filled eyes of his, and saw mild amusement cross his face. He had enjoyed it. The sick ******* had enjoyed slaughtering the last of a dying race. I rose to my feet, laying her gently to one side, and pulled my blade from its sheath. This only made him laugh all the more. And he flew off, dropping yet another piece of Jenova for us to fight. Tifa and Yuffie came up to help me, but even though I fought harder than I ever had before, I was numb, not capable of understanding my own movements. I fought that battle, knowing that the man I once was would never be the same again.

Alrighty folks, here is another work by my girlfriend Caitlin, one that got little attention on fanfiction, but that I really enjoyed. It's another songfic, but the song REALLY fits the mood of the story. Also, language advisory for our younger viewers. The song uses bad language, so keep that in mind as you read this. Hopefully you will all like it as well!

Summary: Kairi has been all alone for 2 years now... and she isn't going to wait anymore. [songfic: Where'd you go Fort Minor] [Divine Of Grace
    --------------------------------------------------------
    “Sora…Where are you? It’s been so long now… I don’t know how much longer I can wait…”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Where’d You Go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like its been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kairi rolled over and sat up in her bed once again. She rubbed her eyes and slid her hand back through her long autumn hair. As she looked around her room she sighed with discontent.

“Another day… without you” she said softly.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She said “Some days I feel like ****,

    Some days I wanna quit

And just be normal for a bit

I don’t understand why you always have to be gone

I get long, but these trips always feel so long

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kairi got up out of bed and went about her normal routine: shower, pack for work, grab some orange juice and walk to school. The hot showers did nothing for her anymore. It used to bring peace to her thoughts and calm her emotions, but now she felt like steel, and nothing soaked in anymore.

After her shower, she put on her school uniform and grabbed her work clothes that were lying on the chair next to her bed. She stuffed them into her backpack quickly, because she hated the thought more and more everyday of having to go to the Tikki Deliver Post Office for at least 5 hours each day. She walked over to her mirror and found her tube of mascara on the floor beneath it. She quickly put a little on, just enough to make a difference. She closed it and tossed it back to the floor. Kairi then stood up and looked at her own image in the mirror.

Good enough she thought. Kairi then grabbed her book bag and ran downstairs to the kitchen where her mother was cooking breakfast for her father.

“Hungry Sweetie?” Her mother asked cheerfully.

“No mom, I don’t have time today. I’ll just get some orange jui-“

“Well,” her mother interrupted, “if you would get up a little bit earlier, maybe you WOULD have time.”

“I know mom.” she sighted, “Look I have to get going. I have work again so I’ll be home around 10 to-“

    “10 O’ Clock TONIGHT?” Kairi’s father exclaimed.

“Dad,” Kairi replied, “I told you LAST week they put me on a double shift. We are short handed again.” Kairi poured herself a small glass of orange juice as her father shook his head and said,

“That is ridiculous. You’re only fourteen!”

    “Dad, I’m SIXTEEN.”

“Oh… Right. Anyways… have a good day at school Kairi. You’d better leave, its getting late.” Her father said as he picked up the morning paper off the table, but Kairi was already on her way out the front door.

“Bye!” she quickly yelled back to her parents and shut the door.

The never get my birthdays straight anymore… Kairi thought as she briskly walked to school.

School seemed to ooze by. Kairi could hardly focus because everyday she sat by a window that overlooked the ocean in her first, third, fourth and fifth periods out of eight classes. She drifted in and out of her school work, as usual, and she hardly could hear what the teachers were talking about. Her friends hardly talked to her anymore… they knew she changed for good… and they left her alone, just like she asked them to. When 8th period finally dismissed, Kairi went to the bathroom and changed into her work clothes. As she was walking out, two girls she recognized, but didn’t know the names of, walked in and became silent as they both watched her walk by. Kairi opened the door and they both started giggling madly to themselves. As soon as she walked out of the doorway, they began talking about her as if she was a million miles away,

“Ha ha why is she so weird?” One asked

“My mom says she is crazy.” The other replied

    “Ha Tikki-girl is a loon?”

“Yup. Her parents adopted her when she was little. I bet they regret it now.”

Kairi didn’t bother to stick around for the rest of their conversation.

They don’t know me… they don’t know what I’ve been through… she thought angrily.

She arrived at work and punched in, as routine. Kairi said hello to a few of her co-workers and took a seat up at the front desk. The place was hardly ever busy, unless it was around Christmas. Today was another boring day, especially because her co-worker, who normally works up front with her, Adrina, was on vacation.

Kairi looked around the office and glanced over the hundreds of cards along the wall, the telephone sitting next to her and her collection of pencils sitting in a cup in front of her. Kairi placed her fingers on the phone and sighed,

“You could always call me Sora…” she said quietly. A tear dripped down her cheek but she quickly brushed it away and thought,

    You can’t cry here…

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And I find myself trying to stay by the phone

Cause your voice always helps me to not feel so alone

But I feel like an idiot

Working my day around a call

But when I pick up I don’t have much to say

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The time at work seemed to just fade away. Only a few customers came in to keep Kairi’s mind off of Sora, but she passed the time in between thinking about her life.

God I’m so sick of this crap… 2 years! What is he thinking? He hasn’t even done anything to give me some sort of sign. Does he even care anymore? God… Sora… where are you? It’s been so long now… I don’t know how much longer I can wait…

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I just want you to know it’s a little ****ed up that I’m stuck here waiting,

    At times debating,

Telling you that I’ve had it with you and your career

Me and the rest of the family here singing,

    Where’d you go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like it’s been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    Where’d you go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like its been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    Please come back home.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ten o’ clock finally arrived at the Tikki Post. Kairi rubbed her eyes and stood up to stretch. She picked up her book bag and punched out. Another day had passed.

The cool air outside was refreshing. Kairi decided to take a walk by the beach, as she often did after work. She walked along the beach, listening to the ocean waves as she reminisced about the times when she was last with him.

We were so young… building rafts to explore… Those were the days… she thought. Kairi stopped and looked around. She had walked all the way to his house… Sora’s house. It was cold and dark. Kairi only assumed his parents had gone on another search to find him… even though she told them what happened, they refused to believe her. It was just too hard for them to accept.

Look Sora… you are not just hurting me… Kairi ran these words over in her mind as she began to sob.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ya know? The place where you used to live

Used to barbeque burgers and ribs

Used to have a little party every Halloween

    With candy by the pile.

But now, you only stop by every once in a while.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Kairi had gathered herself again, she walked home to her darkened house. Her parents went to bed, but left the back door open for her. Kairi went inside, grabbed a sandwich with a glass of milk and went to her room. She took off her work clothes, laid them on the chair again and got into her pajamas. She looked at the clock which red 11:10.

The news is on she thought as she turned on the little television on her dresser.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    ****

I’ve found myself just filling my time

With anything to keep the thought of you from my mind.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

A half an hour passed and Kairi laid down in her bed. She turned off her light and pulled her blankets up to her chin. She stared up at her dark ceiling and began thinking out loud,

“This is so stupid. Why am I still sitting here, day after day, doing NOTHING? I’ve had it with this. I’m leaving. I am gonna go find him myself. Screw this-“

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    I’m doing fine

And I plan to keep it that way

And you can call me if you find you have something to say

    And I’ll tell you

I want you to know it’s a little ****ed up

    That I’m stuck here waiting,

    At times debating,

Telling you that I’ve had it with you and your career

Me and the rest of the family here singing,

    Where’d you go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like its been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    Where’d you go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like its been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    Please come back home

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Kairi…” A deep voice interrupted. Startled, she jumped and sat up in her bed. A man dressed in black walked over to the side of her bed. Kairi trembled all over as he stepped closer. The moonlight from Kairi’s window slowly illuminated the man’s face. Kairi stared at the man for a few moments and noticed that he had long silver hair just like…

    “RIKU!” she exclaimed.

“Hey! I was hoping you’d recognize and old friend!” He said smiling. Kairi jumped up into his arms and hugged him tightly.

“OH MY GOD! HOW ARE YOU? You’ve gotten SO TALL! Where have you been! I’ve been waiting for SO FRICKEN LONG FOR YOU GUYS… wait… where’s Sora? Is he here? Is he coming?” She asked excitedly.

“Well hey its good to see you too. Look at yourself; I see you changed a lot too! Look… Sora and I are fine. We’re both okay and we’re doing great. But I’ve got some bad news… Sora isn’t coming back yet. He’s still trying to figure everything out… the universe is just so plagued with the heartless…” he replied. Kairi’s eyes got big as she said,

“WHAT! You’re telling me he doesn’t have the TIME to come back? That’s RIDICULOUS! Look Riku, I’m not gonna sit here and wait any longer- 2 years- that’s PLENTY. I’m going with you this time.”

“Well Kairi… you won’t have to wait anymore… He gave me something to give to you.. so you can come and help when you are ready…”

Riku made a fist and covered it with his other hand. He closed his eyes and suddenly pulled out a keyblade from his fist. It was somewhat like Sora’s, but it had a different handle and blade. Riku held it out for Kairi to take. She took a deep breath as she slid her fingers onto the handle.

“He wants you to practice here for a while… then when you get better, you can come help…” Riku said quietly. Kairi looked into his eyes angrily and said,

“NO RIKU. I’m going NOW. I’ve waited TOO LONG. THIS IS IT. I’M GOING NOW.” Kairi bolted out her bedroom door and down the stairs with her keyblade in her hand. She thrust through the front door and began sprinting to the beach. She jumped into her canoe and began paddling to Destiny Island. Riku bolted out after her, only a trailing by a few feet, begging her to stop. Kairi jumped out of her boat and ran to the only place she could think of: The Secret Spot.

“KAIRI! DON’T GO IN THERE! PLEASE! JUST HOLD ON! LET’S TALK!” Riku yelled from his canoe as he began to follow her inside. Inside the cave Kairi ran up to the Secret Door and turned back around to face Riku.

“NO!” she said firmly, “No Riku… I’m not waiting anymore. I’m going to find him.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    I want you to know

It’s a little ****ed up That I’m stuck here waiting,

    No longer debating,

    Tired of sitting and hating

    Making these excuses for

    Why you’re not around

    And feeling so useless.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suddenly Kairi plunged her keyblade into the keyhole of the door. It slowly opened, revealing a black swirling vortex. Kairi looked back one last time at Riku.

    “KAIRI! DON’T! PLEASE!” he pleaded.

“I’m sorry Riku… I’ve waited too long.” She replied calmly as she stepped back into the swirling doorway. Kairi’s eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of a dark figure behind Riku that quickly came into view. Kairi gasped in horror as she vanished from view. Riku sprang forward to follow, but the door sealed shut before he could get to her.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems one thing’s been true all along

You don’t know what you got till it’s gone.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Riku? Where’d she go?” A young brown haired boy ran over to his friend to help him up. He was wearing a suit and had a bouquet of flowers.

“Sora… she took off with her keyblade to find you.” Riku replied dusting the dirt from his legs.

“What? Why? Didn’t you tell her we were just joking?”

“I didn’t get the chance. She said she was sick of waiting.”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess I’ve had it with you and your career

When you come back I won’t be here

    And you can sing…

    Where’d you go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like its been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    Where’d you go?

    I miss you so

    Seems like its been forever

    Since you’ve been gone

    Please come back home…….

    Please come back home…

    Please come…

    Please…

    …… …

I know for a fact that many of our younger members have not seen this movie (and if they have they shouldn't, it's very graphic @_@) But for those of us old enough to see this, what did you think of it? I found it to be a trip. It's very disturbing and gutwrenching. Especially as the people continue to spiral further and further out of control.

For those who haven't seen it, its a movie about drug addicts. The main characters are Harry and Tyrone, Harry's girlfriend Marion, and Harry's mother. It goes through all of their lives over a 3 season period. Harry and Tyrone start off as simple dope users, who try to make it big by selling. When everything goes awry, they continue to spiral further and further out of control until the end of the movie which is very graphic and frankly screwed up. I truly enjoyed it, and I was curious as as to other people's opinions.

Alrighty folks, time for something COMPLETELY different. This is the first Fanficiton I ever wrote and its *drumroll please* a POEM! That's write, before I wrote my storied, I wrote a poem, and this poem right here is what got me into fanfiction. I hope you enjoy it. It is ancient, so I don't know how good it is, but I liked it. Hopefully you will too.

Summary: [To save another, one must often give of themselves]Sora's ultimate sacrifice. oneshot [Twilight to Dawn]
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    I’ve found you now,

    but your not here,

Why must they keep you away?

    I’ve searched for you,

    both near and far,

Why must they keep you away?

    Your body lies,

    lifeless on the floor,

Why must they keep you away?

    They took from you,

    what made you you,

Why must they keep you away?

    I’ve found a way,

    to set you free,

I know now what I must do.

    To free your heart,

    I shall pierce my own,

I know now what I must do.

    I say goodbye,

    for good this time,

I know now what I must do.

    With one final sorrow,

    I set you free,

I know now what I must do.

    Do not weep,

    I’ve done what is right,

    I cannot be there anymore.

    With my life gone,

    seven lives were saved,

    I cannot be there anymore.

    Most importantly though,

    I’ve set you free,

    I cannot be there anymore.

    Cry not for me,

for at least you are free,

    I cannot be there anymore.

    Ever in darkness,

    I see no more light,

    I drift onward without you.

I long to see your face again,

but know my wishes shall not come true,

    I drift onward without you.

    Slowly I start to fade,

and loved memories begin to wane,

    I drift onward without you.

    The darkness engulfs me,

and I pray for it to end,

    I drift onward without you.

    A voice in the darkness,

and I remember who I am,

    Could I too be saved?

    I listen intently,

thought the voice is very feint,

    Could I too be saved?

    Who is calling,

    are they calling for me?

    Could I too be saved?

    I focus my mind,

    and head for the sound,

    Could I too be saved?

    I awake to the light,

to find myself in your embrace,

    I’ve found you once again.

    They are there too,

but for the moment I don’t care,

    I’ve found you once again.

    The enemy closes around us,

and still I refuse to let go,

    I’ve found you once again.

I whisper softly in your ear,

then grab your arm and run,

    I’ve found you once again.

Welcome one and all to a first time event! I am posting a new story right here, and its coming to all of you before it is hitting fanfiction! That's right, I'm posting it on here before I post it over in my fanficiton account, so feel special! The story is the sequel to Just One Chance...just as I promised! The title is symbollic. If you remember at the end of Just One Chance, Kairi had her son, who she named Seishou. This story is about Seishou. Seishou is japanese for Spirit (or at least the japanese baby name site I looked it up on said it was @_@) I wanted something symbollic, since the three names of the main characters from KH all were. Anyways, I'll stop rambling and just get to the story. This is going to be a chapter fic, and I'll post each new chapter in its own thread, with a link to the next one (as theycome out) at the bottom of the page. This has yet to be edited, so if you would like, please tell me of any grammatical errors and the like, and I will go back through and correct them. Here is the beast XD
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary: [Anger rising inside, hatred born from loss...] A story about Seishou, the son of Sora. (Chapter fic.) (Twilight to Dawn)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Mommy, why don’t I have a daddy?†A little boy around the age of 5 sobbed into his mothers clothing as he gripped onto her. She cradled him in her arms, trying to calm him down. “Everyone at school was laughing at me ‘cause of it.†The boy managed to squeeze out through his tears.

“Oh, baby…your father didn’t want to leave. He was taken from us. You’re just not ready to he—“

“I hate him.†The mother looked down at her son who had stopped crying and now bore a face of pure malice. “He abandoned us. It’s all his fault.â€

“Seishou…†the mother said as she pulled her son close to her and began to cry herself.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seishou spun his blade in a backward arc, using the force of the spin to help him propel himself forward as he shoved off of his back foot straight at Sephiroth’s chest.

“Foolish, just like your father.†Sephiroth said, his expression never changing. He brought his masamune down for the boy’s head, but he was ready. Pressing his hand against the flat of his blade, he held his weapon straight above his head, blocking the mighty warrior’s blow. Not wanting to risk the slight advantage, Seishou ran forward, holding the long-haired warrior’s blade up above himself as he set his sights on Sephiroth. Reaching his target, he dropped his hold on the cursed angel’s weapon and spun around to give a blow straight at Sephiroh’s midsection.

His blade found only air as Sephiroth disappeared in a cloud of black feathers. His mocking laughter seemed to come from everywhere at once as Seishou continued to scan the immediate area for any signs of his presence.

“Show yourself you *******!†Seishou screamed into the darkness. After a few moment’s of silence, Sephiroth’s voice returned the call.

“Anger. That is a useful emotion. Harness it boy.â€

“Shut up.†Seishou threw back, his eyes still working overtime for any sight of the opposing warrior. He held his weapon behind himself in a defensive position.

“As you wish. This battle has amused me, but now I grow bored. I will leave you with this. Harness your darkness child. Once you realize the foolishness of the light, come to me. I could make you far greater that you could dream possible.â€

As Sephiroth spoke his last words, the darkness began to recede, and the chill running down Seishou’s spine started to subside. Instead of relaxing, the boy became infuriated, screaming at a presence that was no longer there.

“Sephiroth! Come back here! We aren’t done yet!†Seishou began swinging his weapon wildly, trying desperately to strike his non-existent foe.

“Seishou!†A voice yelled from somewhere he couldn’t make out. Scanning the area, he spotted a silver-haired male drawing nearer to himself.

“Riku?†Seishou asked questioningly. Just then, his adrenaline and anger dissapeared, and the stress on his body from the fight caught up with him. Without anything to keep him going, his body blacked out.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seishou jolted awake in his bed, sweat pouring down his forehead. He looked around to get his bearings, slowly reassuring himself that he was still at home in his own bed. Brushing away some of the sweat, he let out a small sigh of relief. He’d been having strange dreams for months now, dreams he couldn’t understand. In his dreams, he was another boy about his own age, though he felt as though he knew the boy was older. The boy was always fighting some strange black creatures, all of them different in shape and size. He couldn’t comprehend the dreams for the life of him.

The strangest thing about the dreams was the odd weapon the boy wielded. It was some sort of sword, but it was shaped like a key. Seishou wasn’t even sure if the blade was sharp or not, but it was effective against the black creatures nonetheless.

Pulling the covers from his body, Seishou slid off his bed, fumbling for the light switch in his room. Finally finding it, he flipped the switch and blinked at the new light that seemed to pierce his eyes with pain. His eyes adjusting to the light, he saw himself in his mirror that rested near the exit to his room.

He was tall for his age, already reaching a height greater than his mother. There was signs of his mother in him from his auburn hair, to his somewhat feminine build. He always cursed his mother for giving him her body, saying that if he’d grown out his hair, people would have mistaken him for a girl. He wore his hair short, except for half of his bangs which came down over his right eye. Right now it was a mess and sticking out in all directions, but generally he kept it jelled down, hating the fact he had to fight his hair every morning just to get it to look normal. He had no clue where his eyes came from. A deep blue, they were not from his mother. More than likely they were his father’s, but Seishou hated that fact. He had never known his dad, as he had left him and his mother when he was first born. His mother always danced around the subject, never wanting to actually talk about it. Seishou had learned to live with it, but he had developed a deep hatred for his father, who he believed had abandoned him and his mother after discovering his mom was pregnant.

Yawning, he scratched his head, and headed out of his room. He turned right down the hall, took the stairs down to the first floor, and turned into the dining room. He headed through the dining room and into the kitchen, flipping on the lights in this room as well. Opening a cabinet over the stove, he grabbed a large glass. Turning on the faucet, he filled it and quickly gulped all of the water down. Filling it again, he shut the faucet off and began to sip from the glass as he headed back to his room.

Back in his room, he found his remote, and turned his TV on, adjusting the volume so it was quiet. He sat his glass on his nightstand, then flipped off the light switch. Crawling in under his covers, he snuggled close to his pillows and set the sleep on the TV, before drifting off to sleep again.

What this is is what the title says. Here is where I will keep a list of all of my stories that I post here on these forums. Managing all of them and trying to get everyone to the other's is becoming to ardous a task without having a centralized location. From now on, on the bottom of each story will be a link back to this page, and from here, you will find a link to each and every story I post. Hopefully this will cut down on confusion, and make it easier for you to find my stories. I will put them in Chronological order in the order I WROTE them, not the order I posted them. This will allow you to follow a timeline and see how my writing style has evolved. I hope to hear comments from you all, from good to bad, so long as its constructive, I really don't mind XD

Well, hello again folks. Here be another old work of mine, though it's actually fairly recent. I wrote this one last year for school (I got to write about KH for scool, and my research for it was playing Kingdom Hearts 2...Best school paper ever XD) Anywho, this is a Roxas fiction, straight up. The easiest way to describe it is A novelazation of Roxas' last moments, through my perspective. I wrote it in first person, so I got to be Roxas XP. Anyway, when I reread it, I noticed I accidentily (and trust me, this was completely on accident, I DO NOT write yaoi) hinted towards AkuRoku. So this is probably the closest thing you will ever see tome writing a Yaoi fanfiction. Sigh...ignorance is bliss, when I wrote it, I had no idea that people even thought of stuff like that DX. Anyway, here it is, Summer Vacation.
    -----------------------------------------------------
Summary: [Summer vacation is always to short, and never ends the way we want it to...] MAJOR KH2 PLOT SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT PLAYED First person account of Roxas's final hours. oneshot [Twilight To Dawn]
    -----------------------------------------------------
There was probably only five or so, but to me they seemed like thousands. Stretching and changing shape, the odd white beings drifted around me in a circle, closing off any hope of an escape I had. They moved around unceasingly, their bodies distorting and curling in shapes impossible to my mind. I held the keyblade in my hand, and took in one final breadth before they all began to converge on me.

The first arrived quickly, striking my side before I had a chance to react. Grabbing my side I leapt into the air, and landed in front of another one. I spun on my heels and sent my blade to his head, the blow sending my foe flying into a nearby wall before evaporating into a cloud of white smoke and slime.

The other four paused for a moment before changing their plan of attack and, some leaping into the air and walking upside down while others curled into a ball and charged my way, but all converging at once. I struck one that was in the air making him stop momentarily as I jumped backward. He came back again, albeit slower and joined in an attack with one of the spinning white monsters. I jumped up into the air, striking once at the floater, a second time at the spinner and then spun around in the air and struck them both, sending them flying into the other two, and both turning into smoke as they collided.

The other two came quickly hoping to catch me off guard, but I rolled around behind them and smacked them both in the head, taking it off to a sickening pop as they too turned into smoke. I relaxed as the smoke began to fade, only to get struck in the back by an arm of spiked blades. I turned around to face my new foe. It was purple and white and covered in spikes from its head to its feet. It spun its blades at me, but I leapt back avoiding its thrust. Apparently frustrated it shot its arms up into the air an then dove straight through the floor.

Shocked I readied the keyblade, looking around for any sign of the beast. I turned around and saw one of its arms jutting out of the floor as though it were some sort of new breed of shark. Drifting nearer me it shot its other arm out into the air and began to jump from the floor for an attack. I struck as it arose and caught it off guard, following up with a second attack followed by another spinning blow, sending the beast across the floor, a white trail of what must have been its blood forming on the floor before it erupted in white smoke.

“Simply amazing, Roxas.” A Spiky red-haired figure in a black cloak appeared from a portal that opened just outside of the edge of the nearest wall. He stood far taller than myself and had his arms folded across his chest.

“Axel.” I clenched my hands at the pangs that ran through my heart as I spoke his name. The name of my best and probably only true friend.

“You really do remember me this time?” Axel said as he came to a stop. He unfolded his arms and turned to face me, his eyes still calm and serene, reflecting the same thing I felt. “I’m SO FLATTERED!” His eyes changed immediately to reflect the hate welling up inside him, the hate of the thing he was about to do. His arms shot down and he clenched his fists as fire erupted all around us, encircling the two of us in a gruesome dueling cage. “But you're too late!”

I stared at Axel across the field and remembered the feeling of truly wielding the keyblade. All my memories were starting to come back, as were my strengths. I held one hand out and in it appeared a white keyblade, far more decorative than the simple blade that I had held before. It seemed to reflect a simple peace and some form of promise which I had no idea of. In my other hand a second keyblade appeared, this one grisly and black. It gave off a feeling of total loss and pain, and gave me a power that felt supernatural.

“Two!?” Axel seemed to grunt under his breadth as I spun the blades around and held them across the front of my body. He’d seen me lay waste to thousands of heartless this way, and probably hadn’t expected me to be able to hold such power again so quickly. His mistake.

He thrust his arms straight upward, then brought them down and shot them out to his sides. A black lightning reminiscent of crawling vines shot around his arms and out to his hands. His signature weapons appeared in a fiery explosion, two spike covered chakrams, as red as his hair and the fire that encircled us both. Axel smiled as he brought his eyes to meet my own once again. Finish it, they almost seemed to say.

Axel took his fighting stance as I took mine. He held one chakram dangling from one hand, fliting it about and tossing it into the air. He held the other tightly in his fist by the beam that connected the two sides of the blade. I stood slightly crouched, my knees ready to launch me into the air as soon as need be. Both keyblades were held out away from my body, a defensive position I’d taught myself to absorb the first blow of my opponent and retaliate.

“BURN!” Axel yelled as he shot one arm into the air and the other at an angle to the ground. Both of his weapons became encircled in flame as a pillar of fire shot straight up from the floor, covering the rest of the arena in what looked like lava, but didn’t seem to burn me. As I jumped out of the way of the pillar, he fired a series of small flames at me which I deflected with my two keyblades as I regained my footing on the ground. The blast had knocked him into the air, and so I leapt at him with all the force I could muster. We locked blades but began parrying and attacking as we chased one another across the floor which he had set up. Finally he slipped on a parry and using the moment I attacked him with both blades knocking him straight into the floor and landing on top of him. The attack must have made him lose a grip on whatever it was he was using to control the field because it changed back to the odd blue hue it had once been, and he struggled to rise once more to his feet.

I took his momentary lapse and launched an offensive, sending blow after blow straight for him. He managed to parry most of them, but I was able to land a few glancing shots. As I was swinging for a powerful hit, I found only air, and was suddenly caught in the back by a burst of flames he had fired from the tips of his chakrams.

I spun to meet him, but saw him vanish into the outer flames of the arena. I couldn’t see him, but turned at the sound of him once again shooting from the flames. I blocked the overhead blow he threw at me, then launched a keyblade after him as he ricocheted back into the air. It knocked him flat and once again I was on the offensive, only for a much shorter time period this go around. He leapt from the fray once again, hopping back into the flames, hoping to lose me. This time he succeded as he leapt out fom behind me and caught me off guard, landing a blow to my back.

Now I was on the defensive as Axel launched a flurry of fiery moves at me, culminating in a giant pillar erupting from the ground and once again transforming the field into a lava pit. The energy he depleted must have taken its toll , as he stalled for a split second, allowing me to take my bruised and battered body back on the offensive once more. He leapt backwards trying to parry my blows again, only this time he was managing to block fewer and fewer. Finally I knocked him back to the floor and transformed the field back to what it once was.

Axel rose again, blood dripping from each wound I’d inflicted and most prominently from a gash across his left cheek. I went on one final assault before he had any time to react however, landing blow after blow and knocking him skyward. I jumped up to meet him and swung left, right, and finally spun my body around in the air hitting him multiple times before he came crashing back down to earth. There he rested and the flames of the arena started to subside. I ran to him and as I did, a new memory came flying to the surface of my mind.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You get on their bad side and they’ll destroy you!” Axel said as I walked past him. I stopped momentarily, a look of grim determination on my face. We were standing in the middle of the town that never was, in front of the skyscraper of memories. Everywhere apartments and skyscrapers rose indefinitly, the dark foreboding of the unwanted urban setting seeming to set a dark mood for all that inhabited it.

“No one would miss me…” I said grimly as I looked back over my shoulder at Axel, who was holding his arms clenched at his side. Both of us were in the customary black cloak of Organization XIII, the group I was leaving in the hopes of ascertaining why the keyblade had come to choose me. After I said this, I began to walk away again leaving Axel in my wake. As I walked, I heard him whisper to himself.

    “That’s not true…I would…”

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Axel…” I whispered as I reached his side. He reached out his right hand and I took it, grabbing onto the only true friend I’d ever known.

“Let’s meet again in the next life.” He said, a smile crossing his face.

“Yeah. I’ll be waiting.” I said as I squeezed harder. I didn’t want to let him go, but I knew I had no say in the matter. I felt a tear well up inside of me, but I held it back. I wouldn’t let him see me like that. Not after everything we’d gone through.

Suddenly a black aura appeared around the nobody's form, and began dematerializing him, even as he began to speak his last words to me.

“Silly. Just because you have a next life…” and he was gone. Evaporated into the darkness. He had returned to darkness just as all nobodies were meant to do. Just as I would eventually do.

I rose to my feet and turned my attention to the last room left in the mansion for me to explore. It had cost me a friend to find what was waiting on the other side of the metallic sliding door. Would it all be worth it?

I pressed my hand against the mechanism to open the lock and stepped into another corridor that was lit better, but still had the same metallic blue color as the rest of the mansion basement. The thing that stood out in the corridor however was the flower bud looking capsule that lined the walls. There were around five, but most stood empty. I walked up to two of the inhabited ones and instantly recognized the faces of two of the champions from my dreams.

“…Donald…Goofy?” I looked both chambers over, trying to understand how these two came to be here, when the sound of a metallic humming caught my attention. I turned to find one more door lying before me. I stepped forward, opened the lock and stepped through the portal to find what lay inside.

Everything was completely white. The walls, the floors, even the overly large chamber that lay in the center. The only thing that wasn’t white was a man draped in red garments and a red mask that stood in front of the chamber at the heart of the room.

“At last, the keyblade’s chosen one.” His voice was deep and seemingly all-knowing, but something about it also felt cold.

“Who are you talking to? Me? Or Sora?”

“To half of Sora, of course. You reside in darkness. What I need is someone who can move about the realm of light and destroy Organization XIII.”

    “Why? Who are you?”

“I am a servant of the world.” At this he began laughing rather hard. “And, if I’m a servant, then you should consider yourself a tool, at best.”

“Was that…Was that supposed to be a joke?” I said, fury fueling everyone of those words. “Cause I’m not laughing!” I screamed as I pulled the plain keyblade from thin air once again and began to charge the apparently old man standing before me.

I swung the keyblade straight for his chest, hoping to cleave the old fool in two, but went straight through him, a mesh of ones and zeros appearing wear the keyblade had just tore through.

“My apologies. This is only a data-based projection.” I screamed once more in rage and then tried to cut through the old fool again and again. Each swing took more and more energy away, and still had the same effect. No matter what I did, it would always turn into a bunch of random ones and zeros before restoring itself to the way it was. Finally I put what strength I had left into one final overhead swing aiming to simply split him in half. This time his whole body became zeros and ones and the man disappeared entirely.

I stood there trying to catch my breadth for what seemed like an eternity. My heart was racing as I continued to breathe in and out, and everything seemed to be pulsating along with it. Suddenly the zeros and ones appeared behind me and the man appeared again, nontheworse for the wear, and obviously not phased at all by my feeble attack.

“Come, over here.” He said. I turned and faced him, staring defiantly even though I knew the strength in my body was all but gone.

“I hate you so much…” I said, swinging the keyblade as menacingly as I could.

“You should share some of that hatred with Sora. He’s far too nice for his own good.”

“No!” I yelled back in response. “My heart belongs to me!” I charged him once again, putting all I had left into one final attack, but he merely disappeared again. This time however, he didn’t return. Instead, the pod that had been sitting behind him opened up to reveal the boy from all of those dreams that had been haunting me since the summer had began.

“Sora…” He was about the same height as me, only with brown hair instead of blonde, and a little bit more of it. We wore it in the same way however, loose and messy. His eyes were closed and he floated inside of the pod. He was wearing a white jacket with a red shirt underneath, and a large silver crown necklace. His shorts were red to match his shirt, and his shoes were a bright yellow. All of his clothes seemed as though they were far to tight for him, almost as if he’d been wearing them for over a year. I relaxed my fighting position and stood straight, walking forward to the person whose memories were being housed inside of me.

“You’re lucky. Looks like my summer vacation is…over.”

    Destiny

Alright, here's another one of my older stories. I've decided to slowly post up all of my old stories, since everyone has been giving me positive feedback! Also, at the bottom of every post, I'm going to try and start posting links to my other stories, so if you find one, you can find them all. This is another sad one, so I give you fair warning right now. I do write stories with happy endings...they just don't seem to be as good. ^^;; This is the story I alluded to as being my favorite one that I wrote. It is REALLY old, the first KH short story I ever wrote. But I just loved the tale Hopefully you will too.
Also, this was written prior to KH2, so I use Ansem in reference to Xehanort's Heartless. Just keep in mind, I had no clue about KH2 when I wrote this, so don't be like "That couldn't happen!" thanks ahead of time.

Summary: [Pain burning inside forever, a beast shall rise from the ashes...]What happens when you can no longer control how you feel? Sora loses everything in this story about loss. oneshot [Twilight To Dawn]
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Destiny. A fateful word. Many in life search for what there true destiny is, but end up with nothing. I too am like this. The life I live is not my own. I was never meant to be the Keyblade master, he was. He should have been the one to stop the hordes of the heartless, but instead, he allowed himself to be consumed with the darkness, and it over came him. I sit here now staring at is mangled body. I have caused this. He lies before me because I was not able to save him. How could I let him slip away?

She stares at me with such hurt in her eyes. How could the one she loved be so cruel? I just slaughtered my own best friend, and I shed no tears, yield no signs of remorse. I simply stare at him, and she can only imagine that I have enjoyed it.

    “Sora, why?”

Through these simple words, Kairi has slain me. She has questioned me. Am I going insane? Again I look down at his mangled body. A mass of blood and broken bones. I did not just kill him, I mutilated him, continuing my assault long after he had taken his last breath. What had I become? I was no longer the person I had used to be.

I don’t know why, but I ran then. I could no longer stand there, with her accusing eyes staring deep into my soul. She could always tell what I was thinking, how I was feeling, what I had wanted. She could no longer. I was different, distant, a beast, incapable of human emotion. As I ran, I felt its presence inside of me. It longed to come to the surface. It sat there, brooding, festering, as if an infection, waiting for the opportunity to finish me off. It was attempting to take over, and it was winning.

As I ran, images of the fight flew by. A sword slash there, a cut here, but nothing was concrete. Something made me stop. There it was the place I was looking for. The entrance was upon me, but I did not go in yet. I stared at the door, and allowed the fight to replay in my head...

    “No more Sora...”

Riku stared at me, his eyes cold and merciless. He too had changed. Darkness had overcome him completely. He no longer wished to be part of the light. He had been there at the final fight, helped me slay Ansem. He had witnessed me climb to power using a weapon that should have been his. Greed and Jealousy do strange things to a man. He had given up trying to be friends a long time ago, and now wished to take it for himself.

“Foolish Riku, you should no better than this. You have witnessed the power of this blade first hand, why now do you wish to take it?”

He gave me no answer. He felt it, the change that had overcome me. He felt the awesome power that I now possessed. He knew he could not win, yet he tried anyway. He pulled out his sword. What a pathetic piece of metal. Its edge could do nothing against the power of my blade. One swing shattered his sword. She was there, watching this the whole time. I had returned to the island, not for her, but for myself. I had to see her once again. I did not know why. She held no meaning to me anymore. No one did.

Now without a weapon, Riku came at me with nothing. He had nothing to lose; we’d both lost everything we had a long time ago. We both were now no more than tools of destruction. No forces of that magnitude could ever survive while the other one lived.

I would make sure he didn’t.

A blow to his torso and he was on the ground, clutching a large wound in his side. I saw blood seep through his fingers. I did not stop myself. I attacked again, and again. His arm, his leg, anything I could leave a mark on I hit. I could sense he had died after the blow to the head, but I did not care. I was going to make sure he could never challenge me again. I sawed off an arm, a leg; put a hole through his chest. Then I paused to look at my work...

Now I could open the door. I walked into the room that I had been longing for sense the whole fight had begun.

I sat there in the eternal dark of the room with which my journey had begun. I had made it my reprieve, a place I could go whenever I needed to comfort myself. Right now I needed that more than ever. I was no longer myself, I was something different altogether. I had enjoyed it, every last moment of it, watching him fall helplessly at the power of the weapon that he should have been wielding. He was not able to take it that time. I had become far stronger than he, he no longer could steal it. The blade was mine, dear to me, yet an eternal scar upon the person I once was.

Somehow she managed to find me. She found the way into this room, just as I had once done so many years ago. Why was she here? She shouldn’t have been, this was my place of solace, this was where I came, not her, no one should ever come here.

“Kairi, please leave, before I lose control again...”

She did not move, she merely stood there, begging me to listen to her. I couldn’t stand to listen to all that, I was a monster, a machine of destruction, what was I to do but slaughter? Yes, what else was I to do? Nothing meant anything to me anymore; I felt no warmth, no compassion, no love. All things that I had held dear had become nothing in my eyes. Even her.

I rose, pulling the Keyblade out of thin air as I did. She was frightened I could tell she was, but she refused to back away. How much joy it would bring, to witness her face when she realized that I was no longer Sora, I was someone else. Yes, I would be the one to end her, and no one else.

    “Why?...”

These last fateful words that she spoke awoke in me the remaining consciousness I had left. What had I done? The last remaining thing that I loved was now gone...The beast had won his victory. As I stood with her blood running down the front of my clothes, she stared up into my eyes, and spoke one last time.

    “I will always love you...”

NOOO!! She was gone, she breathed one last breath, and then I felt her soul leave me. The bond we shared had been severed, and I had been the cause of it. She now was gone, and it was all my doing. I could not live like this. No, I had ceased to exist the moment I let the beast inside me win. The moment that I had decided to slaughter her, that was when I died. No longer would I live, in this or any other world. I would leave this body behind, allow the beast to have it, and find her once again in the next life, if one does exist.

The pain of the Keyblade piercing through me was immense, but I had grown accustomed to pain. I did not flinch, I did not even notice as warm blood streamed down my hands. My and Kairi’s blood now ran down me together.

“Don’t worry Kairi, I’ll be home soon...”
