All right, check this out: http://ffchaoticcosmos.livejournal.com/415613.html?thread=6783357 A height chart of all the characters in the Dissidia: Final Fantasy series.

Now, I'm wondering... would such a thing be possible with the Kingdom Hearts universe? I've seen an Organization XIII height chart - not nearly as well put together as this one - and T-renders floating around of Goofy and Tigger, so... I'm wondering if there's a way to present something as ambitious as this Dissidia project. Much more ambitious, since there's a whole shipload more characters in the KH saga than there are in the minimalist world of Dissidia.

I just think it would be extremely cool to have little virtual dolls of every character, outfit, monster, and weapon in the series, in nice standing-up-straight T-render form so all the details can be carefully examined. And to get "official" heights for not only the KH originals, but a vast number of beloved Disney characters as well! ...It's something I would be very, very interested to see.

So, how would such a thing be done? I don't quite understand the explanation there for why Aerith couldn't be included in the chart, but I don't think that would be an issue with KH... because if you go down to the Kingdom Hearts wiki, every character or outfit that doesn't have an official render has a fanmade one instead, and the only characters without official renders are the crazy-obscure ones: Ariel in her wedding dress, the Beast's human form, Kiara - characters that only appear during the end credits of KHII, so obviously it's possible to dig through the code and find just about everything and create really good renders out of them. (and yet the Undead Pirates still have really crummy renders, but I'm sure that could be rectified...)

This whole notion isn't totally illegal, is it?

...Is that a thing that's going to happen? KHIII, assuming they ever get around to releasing the dang thing, will be released on the PS4, yes?

Then we have 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 - possessing all three of those titles will give you the entire series and then some, at least story-wise. But which of those titles are PS3, which are PS4? Does one need to own both a 3 and a 4 in order to play all three collections? I keep seeing conflicting reports about that, I figured I might as well... ask humans, I guess.

It just occurred to me... when Kingdom Hearts III comes out, the first time someone says "Sora! Donald! Goofy!" I'll probably, completely on reflex, stand up and applaud. 'Cause, you know... been a loooong time since anybody said that. Sure it was annoying, but what it symbolized... I think it would cause me to be overcome with emotion. Know what I mean?

I just had a crazy idea. Okay, remember how KHII had the Battle of the 1000 Heartless? And there was the promotional image, where there were a bunch of Behemoths and Wyverns and all sorts of Heartless - but when the game came out, due to system limitations, the Battle of the 1000 Heartless ended up being a little bit of a letdown. But.... well, it's been many years. What if KHIII gives us a REAL battle against 1000 foes? That idea came into my head earlier today and I couldn't get rid of it. Oooooooh, I hope the development team remembers that missed opportunity and seeks to remedy it...

EDIT: Whoops, I didn't realize there was a Kingdom Hearts III sub-forum... can someone move this to there?

Um... hi. Not sure where to put this. Not sure if this is even legal... but I've had this thing on my mind for a very long time and I wanted to share this with somebody. As a regular follower but incredibly infrequent poster here on KH-Vids, I thought this would be a good place to share this hugely nerdy trivia quiz I've had buzzing around in my head about the English-language voice actors of the KH series thus far. So... see which of these questions you can answer. There's no shame in hitting IMDB, this is just a little something I created to hopefully tickle the minds of some of my fellow Kingdom Hearts aficionados.

    1) Several characters - either through being recast or for appearing at different ages throughout the series - have had their voice actors changed. Numerous characters have had two different actors, but how many characters can you name who have had three different actors? (hint: all involve both recasting AND different ages)

    2) How many actors can you name who - within the KH series - have played both a Disney character AND a Square-Enix character? (For the purpose of this question, characters who debuted in KH games count as Square characters - even though, from a legal standpoint, they're Disney characters - because, come on, they're totally Square characters)

    3) In what Disney worlds throughout the KH series has every single character who appeared been played by the actor who played them in the movie in which they debuted?

    (Scroll down for major hints...)

    1) There have been three such characters: two KH original, one Disney.

    2) There are three such actors. One appeared only in KHI and BbS. One appeared only in KHII. The third has appeared throughout the series.

    3) There is only one such world.

(Scroll down further for the answers)

    1) The three characters are:

Kairi (Hayden Panettiere, Alyson Stoner, Ariel Winter)

Master Xehanort (Leonard Nimoy, David Gallagher, Ben Diskin)

Hercules (Sean Astin, Tate Donovan, Josh Keaton)

    2) The three actors are:

Kathryn Beaumont (Alice and Wendy in KHI - roles she herself originally played in the early 1950s! - and Kairi's Grandma in BbS)

Crispin Freeman (Will Turner and Setzer, both in KHII - note that from the aforementioned "legal standpoint", he is the only actor in the series to have done so)

Corey Burton (too many Disney characters to list... but I'm listing them anyway: Captain Hook, the Doorknob, the White Rabbit, Flotsam and Jetsam, Yen Sid, Shan-Yu, the Peddler, Dale, Sark and the MCP, Santa Claus, Grumpy, the Magic Mirror, Frollo... and DiZ/Ansem, a role he has now played in twice as many titles as Christopher Lee has)

    3) The world is...

Deep Space. Original Lilo and Stitch cast members Chris Sanders (the director of the film, who reprised his role as Stitch despite having left Disney to work at DreamWorks), David Ogden Stiers, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Zoe Caldwell, as well as Stitch! The Movie cast member Frank Welker, all returned. No recasting whatsoever; the only world in the entire series to bear that honor.

All right, I hope you enjoyed this pointless little quiz. Thank you for playing along.

Oh, and one last thing that didn't really work as a question: was anyone else aware that Ariel Winter (young Kairi) and Shanelle Gray (Larxene) are sisters? Sisters with a 20-year age difference, and unless I'm mistaken, they barely even knew each other at the time Shanelle became Ariel's legal guardian sometime (I think) last year, so their status as fellow KH cast members is probably just a coincidence. Isn't that wild?

Hi, my first entrance into the forum, simply because something's been bothering me and I need a bit of backing from such loyal fans to the series as those who apparently dwell here... anyway. "Young Xehanort", confirmed as the character's name via the KH3D end credits. A few non-official sources, the IMDB and KHwiki.net specifically, are operating under the assumption that the character will be voiced by David Gallagher.

Are we sure about this? I get the feeling that "Young Xehanort", the KH3D antagonist in a black coat, is quite separate from "Young Master Xehanort", the guy watching the sun set on Destiny Islands in various flashbacks. I think the theory is that, in both major versions of BbS, Japanese and English, Young Master Xehanort was voiced by the same actor as Riku to hint at the many parallels between the two. As has been confirmed, in the Japanese KH3D Young Xehanort and Riku are NOT voiced by the same actor. Why would they do that for the English-language version if it wasn't in the original? I think that Gallagher will be voicing Young Master Xehanort, while someone else will be voicing Young Xehanort.

There might be a way to check up on this - I'm pretty sure Young Master Xehanort has a speaking role in 3D. Anyone with either a keen ear or else actual knowledge able to tell whether it's Mamoru Miyano (Riku) or Takanori Okuda (Young Xehanort) in that bit?

Of course, the obvious conclusion: there are too many goll-darned Xehanorts. Put all the characters in the series in one room and go "Hey, Xehanort!" and like seven people will turn around at this point... and two apiece if you call for Ansem, Jack, or Chip. Heh heh.

And, on a final note, despite what I said earlier I don't really trust the IMDB's page for Kingdom Hearts 3D. Demi Moore? Jeff Bridges? I think whoever updated that page is just being overly hopeful.
