Hmmm mm. Put it under fan art because my ref. was Mayu but it kind of just changed once I started.

    Any thoughts?

The shading seems really scruffy, it was quite a large drawing.

    Travelling

This Friday, I'm heading off to Cyprus with my friends for ten days (fffff yeah). I'm then getting a plane back to London and on the same day I'm flying out to Florida :B I'm totally spoilt with vacations this year @_@

I will have no internet whatsoever in Cyprus but MIGHT be able to get on in Florida using my psp- but even then, it is a pain in the ass to do anything because it's so slow. xD PM me if you want to chat or something though :3

I'll be back home by the end of July/beginning of August.

..well, unless I fall whilst paragliding over the Med. >:3

    Love you guys. <3

Oho, this one is a day early guys. I haven't mixed up my calender, I just need to get this done out of the way before I leave for a month.

There was an inviting range of entries submitted last month as the topic proved popular. Good work guys! However, there can only be one winner, and the title goes to Plums Vi Britannia with his poem, seen below.

The poem sought an alternative to the usual rhythms used and whilst reading it the flow of words came easily. Overall it just struck me as a beautiful piece with a great variety of vocabulary; not as colorful as other entries but suitable for the topic at hand. Well done Plums!

This month's theme is perhaps a little different from the usual. Poems submitted must be in the form of a haiku. For those of you unaware of what a haiku is, your poem may have any number of stanzas, but each stanza must be three lines long, with each line respectively having five, seven, and five syllables within it. Definition Here.

Closing date is the end of this month. Good luck everyone! <3

Sorry this is late, folks, there was a lack of communication between Styx and I.

Without further ado, the winner of last month's contest was Chevalier with his poem One Along.

There was some beautiful vocabulary used and the message of the poem subtly hidden within italics (which I haven't replicated because I'm running out of time to post, d'oh). There was also enjambment used in a way that seemed natural; you are led to believe the poet created the poem effortlessly. Good work.

This month's theme is Changing Seasons. Closing date is the end of the month, naturally.

    Good luck, gang. <3

My friends and I covered my trampoline with washing up liquid. It was impossible to move without sliding everywhere, everyone was flying over each other. xD

Last month's winner was Advent with "What a Pleasant Nightmare". Although the story was slow to begin with some descriptively long sentences, the touching character development proved this tale a winner. Infact, I wished it could have continued; I was waiting for a confirmation on which world was the dream after all.

Once again, congratulations also go to Jiku Neon, as I found her dialogue once again brilliant and realistic. The ending of her story was also rather chilling.

This month's theme, and required title of your story, is War. Take it as you like, though it would be great to see you manipulating the title to your creations.

You could always think a little less "war in Afghanistan" and a little more "war over the ketchup bottle"...

EDIT- I've extended the contest to last over July for two reasons. One, maybe we'll get another entry or two; Two, I quite literally have no time to organize another contest, I am out of my mind busy organizing my travelling over the world next month and will be gone for a long time. @_@

I was getting ready for my friend to come over today, and I had just gotten out of the shower when she texted me to say she was just walking down my street. Two minutes later the doorbell rings so I run downstairs to let her in, obviously not caring that I was in a towel because it was just my best friend.

... It wasn't her. It was some old man who wanted to sell me some fresh meat.
