[I originally wanted to make this into a roleplay, where people could bring in their original characters from OTHER roleplay's. However, the fear of people quitting on the roleplay before it even got going persuaded me to write it by myself instead. As a result, I actually will have a couple characters from a roleplay I participated in called "Keyblade Wars" by Phisoxa. So I hope you enjoy! This is a story of battle and betrayal.] *Prelude* The wind blew strongly against the sandy battlefield. Each grain of sand had been stained with blood, blood which had long since dried. The field where warriors had struggled for victory had long since been unused and the stands lay equally lifeless. Each seat was vacant, the entire place was left without a sign of life. Even tree's which had been used to contrast the yellowish hue of the coliseum had withered away and died. In the skies above the coliseum, only maelstroms circled and darkened the land below. While lightning lit up the area occasionally, and thunder gave sound to the empty place, the life giving properties of rain refused to fall. In the center of the coliseum sat a throne and in the throne sat the only being to live in that desolate place. The being sat in silence and in shadow, refusing the lighting's request to illuminate him. This being after sitting in silence for what may have been an eternity outstretched his hand and suddenly furnaces that had not burnt for centuries lit on fire again, giving light to the coliseum. With another gesture of his hand a magical light appeared in the center of the coliseum and exploded, kicking up the dust from the arena grounds. There, in the center, unharmed by the light, were eight people. All of the people looked around curiously and in surprise of their new surroundings. Before any of the could speak, the man in darkness said to them "Welcome warriors, to my coliseum." The attention of the eight newcomers focused on the man sitting in the throne. "I am God and you shall refer to me as such." said the man "I have gathered all of you from different time periods and dimensions to battle each other, here in my coliseum. The rules are simple, if you are knocked out, forfeit, or are killed you lose. I shall make the match ups and the winner proceeds to the next match. The winner shall get the ultimate prize, the power to change your fate and the fate of your world. You are all excellent fighters who, for one reason or another, ultimately failed to make a difference. I will now give you the chance to change that." The man then gestured with his hand. "I have made it possible for you all to communicate with each other. Language barriers are no longer present. Tonight you will sleep soundly, but by tomorrow's end, the victor shall be named." The eight fighters looked at each other. "He can't be serious? He wants us to fight? Why?" "For his own pleasure of course... some god." "Did he say 'killed'? I'm not the kind of person to do that." "I don't see any reason why we should listen to this so called 'God'" "Everyone, relax, I think we really should introduce ourselves first and figure out why we are all here, I'll go first. My name is Amber." said a young girl with auburn hair. She had a sword sheathed around her waist and no other obvious weapons. "I was a police chief in charge of stopping a terrorist threat. The terrorist claimed he could wipe out the entire solar system with a bomb. He was a mad man. I almost had the man we had been searching for when he suddenly caught us off guard by detonating an explosive. I was so shocked that I wasn't able to use my defensive magic quick enough to save my men or myself. Then I arrived here... I think the fact that I'm alive right now is a miracle, as long as this ins't hell." "My arrival here was similar." said a large man carrying a massive blade on his back and a pistol on his side. "My name is Anthony, however, my teammates called me Goliath. I was leading the moral support of my army. Many said that without me, they wouldn't know how to keep fighting. However, one night, I was seduced by a woman, and betrayed when my guard was down. It must have been an assassin, sent to create a weak link in my army. I knew many wanted me dead, but I didn't think my fall would be by a woman. After everything blacked out, I arrived here, same as you all. I only hope my army is doing alright without me." "My name is Arthur. I am a king of the Warsaw Country." said a boy, with no visible weapons on his person. "A sorcerer by the name of Merlin captured my family as revenge against me for expanding my kingdom into his forest. He claimed my expansion was a declaration of war and he quickly cast me out of my castle and captured my family. I began an adventure to find my way back home. After many trials, I successfully reached home. However it was all in vain. Despite learning a great deal of magic, I was still no match for the sorcerer, and my kingdom has become his, and my people his slaves. He decided to finish me off that time too. If there is anyway for me to get back, I shall, and reclaim what is rightfully mine." An older gentlemen then stepped forward "My name is Gram. Compared to your stories, I'm not sure why I'm here. I died with my family around me. However, my two sons were headed off to war very soon. Perhaps that is what I am worried about the most. What if they need my guidance? Some of your stories sound very important, but I won't hold back. For my children's sake. "Good luck gramps, you don't look up to speed for this kind of contest." said a young man, who carried an odd looking blade. "My name is Dreed, I died like the rest of you, but I was simply a gun for hire who got in over his head. If I won, and I do intend to win, I will definitely enjoy all the riches ultimate power can offer me! And certainly no foolish old man is going to stand in my way." said Dreed as he got right in Gram's face. "Knock it off." Said a man who then grabbed Dreed and pushed him away from Gram. This man also carried a blade. "I have a feeling we're all in over our heads here. My name is Raxtion. I was once a rogue who couldn't find my place in the universe, but the universe moved on without me. Countless wars that raged one after another kept me busy, always kept me trying to find the good within war. It became apparent which side to fight for when a creature race known only as the consumers appeared, destroying worlds in their wake. Covering all of the galaxy in their toxin. They eventually cornered all life into one part of the universe and were closing in. Due to other circumstances, I met my end. Leaving the fate of my friends a mystery to me. If I had that power, I would go and end the consumers. Then maybe the universe could find peace again." One man leaned against a wall and lit a cigarette. The man carried a large, almost bazooka like, gun. "My name is Jack and not unlike mister greed over there..." "The name is Dreed!" the young boy interrupted. Jack smiled and said "Of course, Dreed." paused for a bit and let out a puff of smoke. "Like him, I'm a bounty hunter, however I made a mistake when I turned noble and lead my crew into a battle field to expose the government of doing some horrible genetic experiments on people. The masses got the message and my crew survived but I didn't make it. I guess my use of the power would be to take control of the government quickly and change things for the better." Amber turned to the lone man who hadn't spoken yet. "I guess that leaves you. What's your story?" "M-me? Oh, well... I'm nobody really. I've always been afraid to step out of the shadow's of my superior's. But... I guess I have no superior's now." The man paused for a moment to reflect on his position before continuing. "My name is Frank, and I was a soldier who did just what I was told. I fought many rebels who simply thought that the outer planetary colony's were just free from our rule! They just thought they could run anarchy and do anything they want! I hate that! I prefer order and stability. If I were in charge of things, they wouldn't be able to blink without me telling them too! But I'm getting ahead of myself... I know some magic and my aim is pretty good, but I don't think I'm ready for this kind of battling!" "ENOUGH" boomed the God sitting in the coliseum's throne. "Tomorrow shall be the moment of redemption for you all. I suggest you prepare by getting a good nights sleep. There are many beds beneath the stands. I shall watch you from here." The contestants looked at each other warily before heading towards the stands. From his throne, the man stayed perfectly still all night. Concealed by the darkness, that the lightning could not pierce and the thunder could not shake.
So, I'm really excited for this to come out... mainly because they used real instruments to recreate all the tracks from the first game, some of the tracks from Re:CoM and the tracks from Days. And all of it sounds simply amazing! Does anyone have any info on this soundtrack? Has it even been announced?
So I saw the TGS trailer for this yesterday and after talking with a friend about this upcoming game, he and I came up with a few concerns. While it was nice to see that they will be implementing the triangle button into gameplay, and the graphics look SO MUCH BETTER with the HD, there were three things that we were curious about. And whil I know no one here can answer them, it's just interesting to ponder. Those three things were: 1.) The inclusion of Tarzan. Seeing as how Square lost the rights to Tarzan, which is why it wasn't present in COM, then what will they do now? Will they simply pretend like there was never a world there and leave you with only three worlds to begin with? Or would they go out of their way to make a whole new world in order to keep the pacing of Sora's leveling up? I'd like to see them just buy back the rights and keep it in there, but who knows what will happen! 2.) New Cutscenes It was stated (somewhere...) that there would be new cutscenes in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. What kind of cutscene's would they possibly add? My friend and I calked this one up to them making new cutscenes to establish the connection with the first one to the newer ones like Birth By Sleep or to hint at the plot of KH3. 3.) Billy Zane as Ansem Now this one is a little out there, but hear me out. When KH 1.5 HD ReMix does come oversea's, there will probably be added voice acting, seeing as how that's what they are doing over in Japan, so with these "New Cutscenes" that I mentioned above, do you think it might be possible that they will replace Billy Zane entirely with Richard Epcar? I mean, if there's one scene that requires more Ansem voice work, and they bring in Richard Epcar, won't they want him to do the entire game to keep continuity? What are your guy's thoughts?
I wanted to put this up, but wasn't sure if this was the appropriate section for the topic, so if I am wrong, than I ask that you please forgive me. I wanted to share this, because I had noticed it a while ago, so I decided to edit the track to include the "Sora's Memories" bit from Final Mix. Because it seems to be the only track that was never officially released. Unfortunatly it has some sound effects, but that's only because I don't know how to do a proper game rip and just edited it from the scene itself. Hello, everyone. I wanted to get all of your opinions on this bill that is going to be voted on in the near future. And if you don't know what SOPA is.... Well, then look it up. Because it is VERY important. But I wanted to use the internet for one of my favorite things that I like to do, which is get everyone's opinion. One of the great miracles of the internet, I can get answers and opinions from people I don't even know! And that is really what I want: A bearing on what people are thinking about this bill. And please don't say: "SOPA sucks!" because that is not a legitimate arguement. Now, I have know about this bill for quite some time, but since today is the black out, I figured now would be a good time to talk about it. Now, as we all know, SOPA, if passed, will do nothing to stop online piracy, but limit our ability to share things online. This site and all of it's AMV's would probably have to go due to it not being original content. But this bill... I don't know. It seems way to clumsy of a bill for congressmen to make. It just seems rather odd and shifty. I've come to the conclusion that the people who made this bill didn't really care about the whole piracy thing but simply wanted to control the internet. The internet is the one thing the government really has no control of! So I don't see why it's not so hard to believe that they wouldn't want to get control of it now. And this bill seems to outline just that. Control over the internet! But, I've told you what I think this bill is, now I want your input. What do you guys think of SOPA?
Okay, so I have Kingdom Hearts Final Mix (The first one not the second one) and I've also got a Swap Magic 3.8 and I'm having trouble getting the game to start. See, Before I was just using the Swap Magic and then putting in the game. But then I realized I had to get a flip top (I have a PS2 slim) So I got that as well... Now, Even though I'm using the flip top. No matter what I option I press I keep getting BSOD everytime I insert Kingdom Hearts final mix. Am I supposed to be using codes with the Swap Magic? Do I have to use those to get it to work? Or am I just not doing it right or I'm missing something?
*100 years before Kingdom Hearts 1* "Search the area! Don't leave one stone left unturned!" yelled the commander as the soldiers searched the remains of their shattered and tattered kingdom which had been raided by a strange darkness. The kingdom was prided in being the strongest in many lands. It now, however, stood in a mass of rubble. No bodies found. No blood. No anything. Simply empty. Only one thing significant remained... Darkness... "Sir! I found something!" yelled one of the soldiers. All the others closed in on his position to see what he had found. The commander pushed them all out of the way to focus his attention on the soldier that had called him over. The soldier handed him a letter. "It has the King's seal, sir." The commander opened it with haste, wanting to read what the king had wrote. The letter read: "Dear friend or for whoever may find this. I apologize for not being able to speak to you in person, You see, I am the king of the once proud kingdom you will most likely see in ruins. A great and terrible darkness has plagued our land. Not out of the night, but out of men's hearts. The darkness forms these evil creatures, who are quite truly heartless in every way. Monsters that prey on the power of other people's hearts. I myself have written this letter because these monsters are destroying this kingdom as I write. After many observations of my soldiers valiant but futile attempts to destroy these creatures, I have noticed that the 'stronger of heart' one's seem to more easily defeat the darkness. However, they are missing something. They are missing a good weapon. I have sent my trusted friend and ally, Xara, to create this weapon. Xara was close to creating this weapon when those heartless monsters attacked. Under my orders, Xara hesistently left to create the blade. Xara is located in a mountian laboratory in the Zubry District. Should you be a friend to the kingdom I once lead or a friend to the human kind at all, please find Xara... before enemies of humanity do. Sincerely, King Raxtion" Music The letter ended there, but while the letter ended, and there was a moment of sorrow for the lose of their king, there was renewed hope in ending the darkness once and for all. "Come men." said Commander Zane "Let's find the creator of this weapon." Alright, here's how it's going to go. Basically, what's going to happen is that Commander Zane and his soldiers are going to go back to the village and find some people to come with him on his adventure. Good people will help Commander Zane or support him in some way and for a reason. (The reason can be to find the creator of the Keyblade.) Bad people are going to continue to use the darkness to destroy the world and stop the good people from getting to the creator of the keyblade. (A little straight forward battling, but I don't want too much of that cause that would get annoying. Be creative if your going to be a villian.) Rules: No godmodding. No double posts No power playing AND NO HARASSING OTHER ROLE PLAYERS!!! ... Y'know... the usual. Based off of Love's Keyblade War series... ~Background~ Long before the Keyblade War, Battles still took place... out of all battles this was a lost battle... lost within the chronicles of Heroes and Villians... After Raxtion and Nny's scuffles... it was decided by them both to put an end to these battles... by having a battle to the death... to prove who was better... to prove who was right... and to prove themselves... ~Chapter One~ *Crossroads*(From KH2) Music: The Sound of Silence Raxtion and Nny stood looking at each other "Y'know..." started Raxtion "If you really wanted to get to me... you could have asked." Nny smiled Raxtion got serious "You killed alot of innocent people! And you almost killed my friend, Josh!" "Aw, He's still alive?" asked Nny "I guess I'll have to fix that once I'm done with you..." "WHY YOU HEARTLESS-!!!" Started Raxtion as he teleported above Nny and kicked him in the head. Nny smiled as his head hit the ground. Nny grabed the ground with his hand and pushed himself up. Nny did a front flip and landed on his feet. He summoned his Dark Sword. Raxtion landed on the ground and summoned his Spirit Sword. The two jumped into the air and their swords clashed. "Is this your best? Becuase it's pathetic!" said Nny as he pushed Raxtion back into a boulder. Nny landed on the ground and ran quickly to the boulder. He started cutting the boulder in all way's possible, thinking Raxtion would get caught in the flurry of cuts. Nny jumped back and created an energy ball within his hand an used it to blow away the boulder to oblivion. Nny looked at the dust for a couple of seconds, then realized "You were waste of my energy" that Raxtion was gone... or so he thought! Raxtion appeared behind Nny and punched him right in the face. Nny backed up. He smiled. "If you have a good joke, Nny... You should share it..." said Raxtion also smiling Nny dashed at Raxtion and started swiping at him with the sword Raxtion kept backing up, barely dodging the attacks. Raxtion wasn't completely fortunate, however... Raxtion got hit. A slice on his left arm. Raxtion screamed out. Nny stoped to watch the baby cry. He smiled. "Aw, are you gonna call mommy now?" Raxtion faced his open palm at Nny "Here... Have this!" an invisible wave of energy blasted Nny back Nny did a back flip to land on his feet. When Nny finally hit the ground, the force of the energy wave kept pushing him back... he had to use his feet to slow himself... and it worked... after two yards of his feet grinding against the dirt. Nny's smile had faded. Music: Mute Nny flew up into the sky in the sunlight so that Raxtion couldn't see what he was doing Raxtion watched Nny fly up but was blinded by the bright sun when Nny flew into it's path of radient light. Nny charged up his Sword with the shadow's he created upon the land. All the shadow's flew into his sword. He then slashed thin air in Raxtion's direction... and a energy wave from the sword came out. Raxtion jumped back seeing this huge shadow coming at him. But he still couldn't see Nny. Nny sent more of them. Raxtion dodged all of them... but little did Raxtion know, this attack was merely a diversion. Nny sent one final blast before speeding at Raxtion Raxtion jumped back avoiding it. Nny came in fast behind Raxtion, before he even knew it. Nny fired a huge blast at Raxtion's back. Raxtion screamed at this huge blast incinerated his shirt and burned his back. Nny smiled again. Raxtion hit the ground once... and then twice as he bounced off the ground... Raxtion struggled to get up. He then thought Nny is much stronger than I thought... how did he even do that? "What's the matter, Raxtion?" asked Nny "What happened to you beating me?" Raxtion, dazed, got on his feet. "It's *cough* right here..." Raxtion dashed over to Nny at the same rate Nny got behind him. Raxtion gave him a swift upper cut. Nny was suprised by Raxtion's speed No! I am a GOD!!! I cannot have the same speed as a mere mortal! Nny was sent flying into the air. Nny landed on his chest... He got up "C'mon!" Music: The Game Nny darted at Raxtion Raxtion darted at Nny They both punched each other. They both stoped themselves from getting to far from one another. Raxtion got out his Spirit sword Nny got out his Dark sword They both started clashing. They locked blades Raxtion pushed Nny back Nny quickly got his foothold Raxtion fired a blast at Nny Nny fired a blast at Raxtion Their blasts locked into one another They both put all their power into it... Nny blasted Raxtion's blast back at him Raxtion was hit with both blasts. Raxtion flew back, far from Nny Nny teleported Raxtion got up and knew what Nny had just done Raxtion teleported as well Even though there was no lightning... Thunder was heard everywhere... It was their blades clashing against one another... as they were in telespace... Nny flew out from nowhere and came crashing into a rock. Nny said nothing he quickly got up and teleported again. Thunder... Thunder... Boom! Clash! Thunder... Nny and Raxtion both appeared on the ground with their blades locked. Raxtion screamed as he unleashed his power against Nny. Nny was throw into a rock with a strange symbol on it. Nny hit the symbol directly and the rock crumbled. Nny jumped back at Raxtion. Once agian, they started clashing blades. A light came from the recently broken rock. A booming voice stoped Raxtion and Nny from continuing their fight The voice yelled "FINALLY!!!!!!!!" A man rose from the broken rock "I AM FREE TO CONTINUE MY REIGN OF ABSOLUTE ON THE UNIVERSE!!!! EVERYONE WILL CALL ME MASTER!!! AND I SHALL RULE ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!" Raxtion sighed "Give me a break..." Nny frowned "Who's this loser?" (Who is the new comer? and what does he want from the universe? And can Nny and Raxtion team up to stop him? Find out in the next Chapter! I am having trouble with Axel... He is much harder than he was on the second floor (Obviously)... I'm at Level 54... My CP is 1050 and my HP is 230... What should I improve? should I level up and get more CP or level up to get more HP?
