Mage hurried along, only to have a long tongue wrap around her neck and pull her into the shadows. "Mom!" Ashir yelled, running out to get her.
Mage looked up to Sora, the bird form changing into an outline of Mage, looking to Sora. "We should be hurrying now."
o_O It was harsh? I'm just saying, I don't like to give away things, I like to give surprises, so why spoil the fun when you can easily check it...
Parma landed in front of the pheonix, studying it. 'This is Miss! She knew her body couldn't live, so her energy self used the nearest host! Pure energy!' Ashir hugged his feathered mother, she nudged his cheek.
Check for yourself
Doing well
When the light of the bird cleared, all that was left was the bird. It glowed a very bright lavender. Ashir awed it, as it curiously took a step, looking at it's feet.
Mage's eyes were glowing red, but nothing was happening. Her left eye turned a dark glowing purple, and she was shaking heavily. Mage was trying to break through, but wasn't succeeding very well. She was starting to wither.
Parma immeadietly became a staff in Ashir's hand, which he then charged behind him. He hit Mage head on. Mage felt the blow, wincing. "Get out..."
Ashir chuckled, feeling safe. Mage was sneaking up from behind the group, and one of Ireene's snakes hissed loudly. This blew her cover greatly.
"Mom doesn't look like she's scared of anything." Ashir spoke softly, wondering what his mother would be afraid of.
Ashir looked around. "Mom isn't scared of anything... She's very brave." he smiled, Parma twitched a bit.
Ashir looked at Sora, patting him lightly on the back. "It will be okay... I'm right here." Another boom of thunder cause Ashir to jump in panic, scared a moment.
"No, worried about something else." Ashir looked to Ireene again, knowing her eyes could see if the work would try to possess her, so she would be clean.
Ashir looked at Ireene, noticing two snakes being stiff and worried. "Cousin Sora, look, Ireene is worried." he whispered.
Parma shook her head, going ahead. 'This way everyone! Ireene can help track as well!' Blaige stood by Ireene, slightly scowling a bit. Ireene's facial expression was unchanged.
Ashir nodded, cowering in the sight of Blaige alone. He didn't flinch when Ireene put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
Ashir made it to Sora, latching on to him, tears falling out. Parma, who was with Sora as a scarf the entire time still, perched onto Ashir's shoulder and cuddled him. 'It will be okay Ashir...' she cooed. "Mom's still fighting..." he whimpered.
Mage hissed in frustration, slinking back into the darkness, leaving. Ashir won his fight, after a long and frustrating stomping. The worm gave a last dying squeak, and Ashir ran to find Sora as quickly as possible.
