    1. The Old Number 7 by Bleach Blonde
This is a band my friend likes and I think is kind of okay. Haven't listened to this in a year or so. Not really my thing.

    2. Kings by Chasing Victory
I used to like these guys a lot more than I do now, but this album remains very interesting to me. It's very.. odd and crafts a unique sound without blatantly changing their sound. I enjoyed listening to this quite a lot.

    3. Goodbye by Slipknot
    too sad. can't take it.

    4. Injection by Rise Against
I have totally exhausted everything I could say on this album throughout these forums and don't care to repeat myself.

    5. 100 Suns by 30 Seconds to Mars
This is pretty much everything that I don't like about this band. They're clearly capable of writing good tunes, but a lot of their stuff is painfully dull and boring to listen to.

    6. Keep Your Shoulders Cold by Hey Vanity
I didn't like this much when it came out and I still don't love it, but hearing it within the context of the album does improve it somewhat for being one of the few energetic songs on the album.

    7. Behind the Sea by Panic! at the Disco
One of my favorite songs from Pretty. Odd. I don't think Ryan Ross has a voice powerful enough to lead, but he does very well here as a.. dual lead.. I guess?

    8. Holiday by Fireworks
Too catchy. Again, one of my favorite songs from the album it's from. In fact, it's probably the only one I like from their debut.

    9. The Puppeteer by Alesana
Oh, man. This album totally blew me away when it came out and both restored my love for the band and my confidence in their ability to continue to make good music. Not only is this probably my favorite on the album, but it has real potential to be my favorite song by the band after I've sat with it for a couple years. It's so perfect.

    10. Lying from You by Linkin Park
I've come to a place where this is maybe the only song of theirs I care at all about pre-Midnight.

Absolutely. I was talking to a guy recently and I said how I thought a Daredevil arc I had just read would be the perfect thing to give to a person who either doesn't like superheros or thinks they're just for little kids. This holds true for the show. Knowing that you don't like superheros, which is fine and all, I think this show would be the perfect opportunity to experience the versatility of what can be done with the idea of the "superhero," while also demonstrating that the best "superhero" stories are something else first -- in this case it's a gripping crime drama. The show is exceedingly dark but not at all without levity. It's easily the best and my favorite thing Marvel has ever done and makes me not care at all about the movies.

and you will probably love Karen Page.

See I'm not yet sure where my problems with the casting ends and my problems with the script's portrayal begin. I don't have anything against Zoe as an actress, but I don't think she was right for Gamora. She doesn't do anything particularly wrong with what she's given, but I'm not sure I buy Gamora's threatening presence in the movie, and all of the other characteristics seemed too understated in the performance. I don't think she was expressive enough but I'm sure she was directed that way. I've only seen the movie twice and can't briny myself to watch it again because I resist a lot of the decisions that were made for the film. In the end, I think it's a combination of actress, makeup, and script that add up to me being tremendously let down by this Gamora (among other things in the movie), which was probably my favorite of the Guardians in the issues I read, but I'm not sure which of those three things in the most prominent. I have the exact same issues with Pratt, but that's because Quill's not the funny man in the comics at all; he's quite the opposite. and Rocket's lack of accent really bugs me but other than that's he's straight off the page.

there's an issue of Guardians where she's very briefly part of the team that has her and Gamora running around getting into all kinds of action-packed shenanigans and it's really fun. get someone who's not horribly miscast as Gamora and I think that'd benice to see on screen. there's a lot of paralleling the two characters so I don't think it's impossible that she'll be introduced down the line. I believe it was the Age of Ultron event that brought her over from Spawn.

demographic is a big question mark with this show. it seems like they're making it for an audience that might not be interested, and by methods that are alienating to a lot of the people who were eagerly awaiting this show (like myself) and other comicbook fans with a casual interest in Supergirl. The one unanimous positive I've seen so far is that the leading actress seems great and I totally agree with that.

i really hated this at first but boy has it grown on me
Brendon said something about Sinatra being the theme of this upcoming album. oh boy am i all over that

what i like about this is the lack of blatant electronic music. I want patd to prove themselves and stay true to their lack of formula from album to album, and not go the way of fob and get to a point where they're just making the same thing again. my biggest fear was that after Too Weird they would stay with that sound, but this puts some of those fears at ease for the moment. i said this when it came out and i'm still saying it now, my liking of that album is greatly determined by what happens after it.
