Or that was her hope, especially for someone she was working with to get out of the place. It would have been awful to be forced with someone who had no desire to leave. Putting that aside she continued down the tunnels as she thought of a reply. They had to keep talking for her to have the light, right? But she didn't really have anything to say... "I'd say nice to meet you but it seems out of place here." The sentence was basically her thoughts slipping out so she really hadn't paid much attention to them. All thought to them especially slipped away when she finally saw the end of the tunnel. Smiling with relief she exited them carefully, only for her nose to winkle up in disgust from a smell and for her body to soak from the rain. And once out she found that the ground below her was thin, giving little room to walk. Holding the mirror instead of the wall seemed foolish but if Dante needed the light then she would be dooming him. Stepping back into the tunnel for a moment and looked into the mirror. There seemed to be light where he was...so it should be fine. "I need to put the mirror away now, so good luck." And with that it was stuffed back into her pocket as she stepped back out, beginning her careful course along the edge. x x After the fall Kyle got to her feet, realizing that she was now alone. Wishing to fix that she pulled out the mirror, hearing someone speaking on the other end. But without her voice she could not answer. Oh, she hoped they were not in need of her. Otherwise she would feel just awful. However her emotional state hardly mattered when she noticed how hot it was becoming. Putting the mirror away she began looking around for a way out of the tomb, noticing nothing but flames. She saw them before but thought of them as no threat until now. Jumping through them could work if they could not die again but... Well in everything she watched and read the flames of hell consumed souls. So that wasn't something she wanted to do, not unless it was a last resort. There was the lib above her, but with it shut and high above it didn't seem like a likely way of escape. But there didn't seem to be a door of any sort... Grasping at straws now Kyle began search the floor for a trap door, hoping to find anything to get out of there.
At Fang's words Yana nodded. It was nice to hear that she was on the same page of them and even offered her hand, which Yana hopped on. She then climbed up the woman's arm to rest upon her shoulder. "The sun or we're all mad," Yana mumbled even though she figured Fang heard her anyway, given that she was so close to the woman's ear and all. Either way no time to waste thinking about how insane the world was now. "Mad or not, let's catch him."
Aloys watched Risit pick on a knight, knowing that was a common sight back at the castle. This caused him to worry about tricks and things being played on him though so far luck smiled upon him. However this luck did not seem to apply to other things as the familiar sound of an arrow zooming by was picked up by his ears. Realizing the threat his bow was ready within seconds as he looked around for the source. Several bandits seemed to have found them and all were ready to attack. With this level of danger he would not wait for an order thus sending an arrow of his own out. The mark was hit but at the same time a knight beside him fell. That sent the boy to duck for cover while he readied the next arrow.
Oh, yeah good points above which I forgot to mention. Would like to add to it, or well may just be a rephrase, but it seems like it's always assumed that every character is straight so in RPs without that in the form I feel...I typed frightened at first but it doesn't fit... Well, I just feel like it's harder to rp anything else. It stems from my feelings in real life too I think, even if I have gotten over them currently. Just everyone acts like your character is straight so therefore if they are proven otherwise they treat them differently or make a fuss. Least that is what I fear sometimes. So having it at least avoids that.
Belated but I'm so glad that you are okay and have returned.
Sometimes I open the page to post in a new tab and it just sits there as I try to focus but often I cannot and drift off to watch shows or do other things. Horrid habit but reason why it sometimes takes me a while to reply. Though when I can focus a reply can come quickly. I never time them but...short few minutes. I feel like I go through them too quickly most of the time though which I regret for it lacks detail or is just poor writing. Overall, though, I guess it just depends on distractions and level of focus. Also the less amount of worry I put into formatting equals quicker posts but the colorless ones bothers me. (My own posts anyhow, for others I don't mind either way.) So torn.
Got a mild curiosity about others' processes for creating characters for RPs. Like where in the skeleton do you start; the name, back story, personality or someplace else? Do they come easy or does it take some time to think of something? Do you have pretty much everything about them laid out from the start or do things come to mind as you go? Also wondering what things you like to see in the skeleton and what things you don't like seeing. To be fair I'll answer my own questions. I normally start with the character's appearance, everything else normally flows pretty easily from there as I am a visual person; once I have something to see my work is made easy. As for their story I always at least have the basis of it though the world in which I rp is a live one, if the RP is interesting enough anyway. And it shapes and changes my character, sometimes without me even realizing it. As for skeletons... Having their bio there can be helpful to plan it out beforehand but it can be a bit tedious sometimes and I have had problems of people knowing my character's history before they have even finished introducing themselves which really irks me. Other than that I don't really have much of a preference.
Well we decided to start the RP on week after the mugging when everyone would be meeting each other officially for the first time since (officially meaning all at once, as up until then they may of ran into each other like two or three people at a time but not altogether.) The meeting place was a bar Rosalie, my character, had bought the day before. It has apartments on the floor above and pictures for it can be found on page 2 of this thread. They decided to open it but to do so Rosalie needed to withdraw money from the bank. While there three masked robbers came in with a sponsor of the name Beta. None of the characters heard about this, bit seeing as that name is going to pop up again though it was important to note. (During the robbery Thallen, Hyuge's character, was shot in the leg and stayed at the hospital over night but was the only injury.) The group was able to stop the robbery by working together and then returned home. After doing so a blogger by the name of Magdalen made a post about the robbery calling them superheroes and promising their readers to find out more details about them. Whether or not you character finds the blog is up to you. On the next day each character is being met by a NPC who works for Red Flag, which they introduce as a group of Alphas working towards gaining public notice (which they have none of yet) and human rights for Alphas. You character won't know about it until a NPC for him approaches and tells him. Some have decided to say yes to their offer to join while others are saying no. Up to you to pick what you character says of course. Today, rp wise, will be focused around that and while people wait for the others to finish their NPC interactions they have the choice to meet up at the bar with the others to chat or do whatever they wish. Once everyone is done we will be time skipping to the next day. What happens then depends on everyone's actions and choices.
"Uh... I don't know. I-is early too early?" Because if early was too early she would need to change it to later. But it can't be too late given the others. They weren't all as willing to wait as she was. She should have been putting dates and times on early and late but her thoughts were too much of a jumbled mess for her to do so. "A-and sometimes he ends up meeting people and bring them in the group h-himself but most of the time people just meet the leader while or after seeing the greeter..."

For someone who never rp'd before this is a perfect cs. Will add it to the first post after posting this. May start whenever you like, though I prefer it if he did not run into any of the other characters controlled by others because at the moment I am having NPCs go to them individually for a chat. No rush though of course, will be allowed to catch up and everything first.
We meet again. And yeah, only 3 out of the 7 people in it have seen the show, me being one of the three. There's only 7 pages but I will gladly summarize things for you and help answer any and all questions you may have if you decided to join, both about the show and roleplaying if you want/need it.

Unlike the others', the card he handed Vergil had only a number and nothing else. He wasn't exactly a member, though he could not say he wasn't with them either. It was a bit of a complex relationship that they had. Either way it was in the target's hand now so he was done here. "Give me a call when you've decided then," stupid yank. And with that he left.
He nodded at the reply before inhaling deeply. "That group is Red Flag and I will be needing to know if you will be joining or not. Fight for the cause and all. So yes or no? Or do you need to think it over?"

If not a cover-up it is probably one of the worst things someone could accidentally do. Talk about getting messed up for life. Not sure about the parents being charged since that could deter them from being there for their son, if they aren't already. Especially since even if the gun was locked away it isn't that hard stealing a key or picking a lock, so he could have gotten it anyway. Can't say for sure without the full details but either way I don't believe charges should be made if there's not even a murder or manslaughter charge.

She didn't fail! Her first mission was a success! The joy and surprise of that had left the girl speechless for the first few moments of Teagan's reply. Though luckily for her that the one on the other end had paused as well, making hers a little less noticeable. "I'm glad," she finally said. "I-I need to report the good news but go ahead and count yourself an official member!" Through excitement she was able to stutter less, though she hardly noticed. "You can remain living where you are or you can come to one of the bases, we have one pretty much everywhere. They're nice... A-anyway, you'll need to meet our official greeter, I'll get you an appointment for tomorrow. Try to, anyway. Earliest time at least! You can also talk to our leader as well who can answer any questions you may have. Then basically live carries on like normal until mission time."
