      Alright I'll comment then.

      • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes had A LOT more content than just "30 to 40 minutes." Sure, canon story material was about that length (actually longer if you consider the cassette tapes that involve the story as well), but the number of Side-Ops and different ways to go about missions makes the game at least 6-7 hours worth of content. My own playthrough has clocked over 17 hours, which is on par with my replay of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Without skipping cut scenes.
      • Misty, I know, I get it, you don't like Final Fantasy XV, but pleeeeeeeeease don't cut off conversations about the game because of your feelings. I want to hear other people talk about it instead of more complaints from you. Sorry.
      • I'm used to Kingdom Hearts having odd names since...it's been like that for around 8 years, guys. Longer than it's been regular naming conventions.

This really is dependent on the type of person you and why you play Metal Gear games. If you play the game mainly for the story (which I would have to assume a lot of people do) there was really a severe lack of content. But even then I have done the side ops and they only added, at best, 4-5 hours. This is, again, something that if dependent on the the type of person who are, I generally do not give a **** about rankings so whenever I got a mission complete I was done with that mission. But yeah, different people will get different amount of content out of the game. For me that 30/40 minutes was kind the main course and the extra side ops stuff was neat, but not really something I thoroughly enjoyed.

I am pretty exasperated with FFXV and definitely own up to not wanting to talk about it, but for this episode at least we wanted to focus on the KH news from TGS only. We'll probably have a full TGS coverage episode next week and I didn't want to muck up a KH discussion with too much off-topic chatter. I try to keep episodes at around the 90 minute mark and sometimes that means foregoing certain topics (especially ones that we're planning to talk about in the future & ones that we've talked about a lot before).

Rest assured that I'm sure we'll be having plenty more talk on FFXV and probably a few more episodes dedicated solely to it as more information about it comes out & when the game actually releases!

I don't really care for rankings either, but the game does have a lot more content beyond its story. I will agree with you though, it really comes down to what you expect in a game. I knew to expect just a bit of story and a lot of fun gameplay, which I got.

It's fine that you purposely wanted to wait for another episode to discuss the game, but I hope you understand what I'm getting at with your tone toward the game? I'm not saying you can't have that opinion at all, but I just wanted to hear more about what Nick was bringing up and I wasn't a fan of the way you kinda dismissed it; there are better ways to have gone about it. Maybe in the future, just say "We'll discuss that game another time, so let's keep this episode on Kingdom Hearts Ground Zeroes 2.8 Aqua Fun Times."
