I've been having a lot of trouble with my internet, meaning I can't get on a lot and when I can it's either a time when I can't record or the vid doesn't have time to load. I've also had mic problems so everything's going against me. I'm not going to drop out yet because I want to do itand it might yet be fixed in time. I though thought I'd warn you that I possibly won't be able to get my lines in.

EDIT: I got on breifly and recorded two of my lines but does anyone know how to stop a mic maxing using Audicity because it keeps happening and to stop it I have to sing really quietly and ends up being very emotionless and unenthusiatic. Anyway, I'm also considering giving away my solo and duet if anyone wants them as I can't do them justice at all.

If you do end up giving them away, can I at least have the duet ('Paying anything to roll the dice'-line, right?), and if no one else wants it, the solo?

I've had the same problem. :/ The only thing I can suggest is moving the mic away from your mouth a bit.

If your microphone is maxing (peaking), then I suggest you turn down the volume of your microphone.

In Windows 7, you can get to it by right clicking your sound/volume icon at the bottom of your screen (where you change your volume), click Recording Devices, find your device and right click.

Click properties, then go to Levels, and adjust then volume there.

You can also get to this in Control Panel somehow, on any Windows system.
That's the best way to do it. That way, you don't have to move back or anything inconvenient.

    Will update shortly.

If you get a chance, Midnight, try to do the lines you've picked if you can, because I've already placed it all in Sony Vegas (lolol), but If you need to drop out, tomorrow night (the 6th) is when you should do it. :)

Wondering how I missed this. .__.

Also, the image is a big small/low-quality. Could you find another for me, please? >:

Sorry, honeybunny. :c Andrew took the last one.

if you guys are actually maxing it out, just lower the input volume level. I actually have to ahve mine up at 10 because even when it's there it only reaches like halfway.
But try lowering it about haflway, and if that's too low, just up it by one level until it seems right

    Here's what I'm talking about
    [IMG]

You can also see how much it's going in by the L and R up in the top. One shows the input, and I think the other shows the output, but that I'm not certain of

It's funny because mine's already at half.
My voice is just really high.

really? Mine's actually pretty low, but I guess it's this mic as well, because the other one would usually go all the way up

you know, I stink at singing because of my monotone voice and terrible pitch control or whatever, and yet this one I was actually pleased with.

My voice is usually somewhat monotonous too, though I'm okay at pitch. The song itself is kinda difficult because to emulate the original singer your mic pretty much requires you to peak. I got around that, but sometimes my mic was all like "lolnope!" and made me sound like a Dalek with a throat infection. So, yeah.

Although, I don't know if daleks even have throats.
