The games okay. It's pretty fun playing online with someone who knows what they're doing and can actually handle themselves well rather than dying on you constantly.
Anywho, I have it for the ps3 and have done just about everything except for max out all my weapons; I'm halfway through my Professional run right now (Ndesu is too easy haha).
True that the one hit kill rule is annoying at first, it keeps you on your toes and sooner rather than later you learn how to get through each level without getting hit at all.

All and all as long as you play online you're in for endless fun, at least that's how it is for me.

Here's my composite drawing that I've been working on for my Figure Study class this semster.
The overall goal being to just take a couple pictures and put them together in one mass picture hints a composite (in case some knew not what the term meant). As you can see I arranged several versions of Jack Skellington, several characters from the upcoming title "9", Sweeney Todd, a sketch of a nude female on the right side of the page and for the center piece a center fold of a model who's name happens to escape me at the moment ( one of my fellow classmates let me use that picture when I figured it would work better than the one I originally chose).
This piece is drawn on 18x24 Stonehenge paper.
My materials used thus far are just regular Stadler H and B pencils, mostly 2H for the outlines, 2B for basic shades and 8B for the really dark areas. Everything else you see was worked using Graphite Dust, which as you can see can be messy but really helps in detailing when you like to shade like me (cuts down my overall time by around 50%). What I mean to say is I went over the basic details with a 2B just mapping the differential tones in just to know where they are and went back over everything with the graphite dust. I also touched up a couple highlights with white charcoal around the darkest places.
As my instructor has taught me as well, not giving your drawings a solid hard line all the way around gives your figure(s) much more form which I can see now.
I've spent about 4-5 hours on this piece so far and I'm no where near completion yet, but I have about 2 weeks left on this so wish me luck.
The thing I can think of at the moment is to darken up the background once I flush out the details in the center pieces.

This picture was taken with my Canon Powershot, because obviously this picture was much larger than my scanner.

Understandable, but big pencil projects is pretty much all I do.

Oh well I just put down a layer of whatever level of shade I want (H or B) even it out a bit and either take a blending cloth, which you can buy at an art supply story, or an ordinary tissue and blend them manually.
It's better than blending with your fingers, because as my mentor told me the oils in your skin tend to destroy the piece after while and it doesn't do as good a job as the others.

Also making sure you keep a piece of paper under your drawing hand helps as well, because if you don't you may tend to smudge the parts of the picture you've already shaded with that same hand.

They weren't that hard in all honesty.
On a level 1 run though I'd have to say getting through the Cavern of Remembrance just because the battles are forced and to hits from any enemy is pretty much guaranteed death.

Why yes, everything I do is done by hand using H & B pencils on 14 X 17 or 18 X 21 vellum paper, it helps better for shading.

I generally like to make the basic outlines and fague details with a 2H then I go back with my HB or B and start shading in all the details. From there I go back in with higher grades of Bs, sometimes H's if I need crisp details and work them in. What can I say I love my details.

At the moment I do believe I'm going to be working on a picture of Randy Orton of the WWE.
I'm hoping to incorporate all 4 of these pictures together.

True the tattoo will more than likely be the hardest part to incorporate but I can do it.

The piece is okay, but it feels rather empty to me, I mean where's the background?
I have a think for details and the shading seems rather light to me.
If it had more shading and a bit more detail I'd like it.
I'd also like to see some original work from you as well, fan art's great but I'm just curious to see what you can do on your own.

I'd have to say Roxas and Vexen for me.
Everyone else after giving it time were easy enough to kill in one way or another.

Roxas is hard for the simple fact that he's faster than you are and attacks similarly to the way that you do, plus it's sometimes hard to predict just what attacks he's going to pull off which can be difficult if he's too close.
Generally I'd guard as soon as he landed expecting him to rush me but he'd generally instead do that keyblade light spin move and KO me.

Vexen was just hard for the simple fact that he'd pull his berserk move out of nowhere in the middle of being combo'd which used to really piss me off because there's no way to get out of it's start successfully if he hits you once with it. AntiSora didn't help the battle either considering he'd get cheap hits in when it didn't even seem possible.

Long story short I defeated everyone, but that still doesn't mean I wasn't frustrated and you can forget trying this on lvl 1 critical it's almost a must to never get hit or else it's instant death especially on Marluxia.

Have you beaten the game yet? Generally you have to get past a certain part in the story in order to continue leveling up your drives.
If I remember correctly the max level caps out about 2-3 times during a play through; it stops once at 3 again at 5 or 6 ( I forget) and then finally you can go to 7 after you get past a certain point I believe it's after you defeat either Saix or Xemnas' first form.

Generally if you figure out how to loop both their attacks then they aren't that hard as long as you stick to that, otherwise I'd say Terra is harder because his attacks have a higher probability of killing you in 1 hit. Besides back when I first started fighting him when FM first came out he'd change his strategy up everytime I fought against him. He's harder because he's more unpredictable and he causes more damage especially when it comes to certain moves.

Xemnas on the other hand is easier to handle considering his first form is a push over and his second form is easy to battle if you have your learn abilities fully leveled up.
