Haha, it is xD it's Persona 3 Portable, the original Persona 3 was for the PS2 (I think?) but I don't have a PS2, they made a portable one for the PSP last year which I got. It lacks the animated cutscenes (which I looked up, they look pretty cool T_T ah well) and some other features but they added another storyline where the main character is female which is a bit different, but the overall story is the same.

Well you play as a transfer student who just moves in to a city in Japan, and you find that at 12 there is a time called "the dark hour" where for only a few people are aware of (for most they appear as coffins in the dark hour, oblivious to it going on as 12 passes normally), and your high school turns into a massive tower called Tartarus where creatures called Shadows are. Those who are aware of the dark hour, at least the main characters at least, use an object that looks like a gun called an "Evoker" which they "shoot" themselves with to awaken their Persona, an inner power that the character can use. You can strengthen your Persona by going about every day life and strengthing bonds, which are what give your Persona its power.

I find it fun :'D
