Guess you've not played Dissida 100% then. All of the playable characters aren't the real people; they're 'perfect' replicas, better versions of the regular enemies you face. And those that died in the 12th cycle were dead for good.

I thought it was KH Cloud. My Lightning has certainly never met Cloud anyway.
