Seeing people's signatures and avatars on here, being impressed and intrigued by the anime/video game, and then not knowing what anime/video game (or other source it's from).
NOT ASKING BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW INTERESTING THE SOURCE IS, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO INVEST IN IT.

 

people who say that bands have "sold out" when they make something that's not what that person wants

i have a friend whose finger is just waiting to pull the sell out trigger the moment a band deviates from his idea of what they should be
because you know
its not like artists can explore other areas of creativity. that's just not allowed.
or are human beings with emotions and mentalities that change over time. nope.
that's not to say that selling out or pandering isn't a thing but still
