Things that irrationally annoy you and shouldn't

I totally agree, and my fam and I reached that same conclusion during an in-depth discussion of how much the second movie sucked after we all saw it in theaters for my birthday. (We did the same thing after Narnia's Voyage of the Dawn Treader) WHICH IS ANOTHER THING THAT ANNOYS ME!!!

What was up with them trying to get that "green mist" all over the place?! You didn't need to tie in Jadis again! She wasn't even in that book! And making Eustace stay as a dragon for the rest of the movie!? That was just... Rgh! And seriously, the spell Lucy (almost) recited in the book wouldn't have turned her into Susan, it would have made her far more beautiful than Susan, and Susan would have stood by jealous and forgotten while kings and nations warred over Lucy's hand. Instead, Lucy rips the page out and actually recites the spell and suddenly she's in America as Susan and Lucy disappeared completely and none of them ever went to Narnia? That was so dumb!!!

Because I lost where I was going in my post because I got distracted ranting about Narnia. XD

I was GOING to say that I and my fam agrees that it feels like Peter Jackson did really good on LotR because he wanted to make them, and he doesn't really care all that much about the Hobbit because the corporate just wants him to make what sells.

 

That's kind of something that pisses me off though. I get that producers like to muddle things up and that creative types do stuff that they don't want to, but that does not give them the right to be lazy. You're an artist; even if it's not something you want to die, the least you can do is try. Make something that you can be proud of; that's a better way of getting back at corporations than just not caring at all.

Yeah, I totally agree. I'm not trying to justify Jackson, I'm just saying I agree that that's probs what's going on. XD It doesn't matter if you're doing something you don't want to do, you still ought to do it right.

 

Yeah, it's just a very unprofessional thing to do. And you never know; maybe it's that thing you really didn't want to do, but you put effort into it, and it really helps you build your career.
