There's a reason I hate gambling

And Dragon Quest 8, as well as other games where you must do so to get some of the best items, make me remember why I hate it so much.

 

I hope I get to arrange a KHV poker game someday.

 

At least video games tend to have it rigged in your favor (Pokemon slot machines anyone?). Because the game should be fun and gambling is only fun if you're winning. And in games where it isn't there is always the method of saving before you start. If you lose money you just reload and it is like it never happened.

But I agree. I don't gamble in real life and if a game wants me to I usually start trying to see if I can rubber band the controller or something.

 

Any video game that has gambling isn't using a real RNG. RNG can't be programmed. Video game gambling is terrible.

 

Pokemon Slot Machines were so easy in Red and Blue when I was younger. I did them so much, I could get 777 100% of the time

In my final year at school we used to play poker on our free period. I never got the hang of it and I still don't get it.

Haven't a scooby. All I remember is we'd play and someone had to shadow me...not that it bothered me fufu.

 

Did you have all five cards in your hand or were there two in your hand and some on the table?

 

They were rigged in our favor in every DQ I' ve played so far. I don' t remember all the games and rules that came with DQ8 in particular, all I remember is it was the most rigged of all. If you know the basics on probability just give it a bit of thought and you' ll make it your *****. Took me like an hour, two hours tops to get my mitts on every loot. I wasn' t using the slots, I was using the spinning wheel.

 

I think it was five cards but to be honest it was a REALLY long time ago so I'm no too sure.

 

You should join if/when I get a game arranged. It will be Texas Hold'em.

These are precisely why I will stay away from gambling in real life -- I got super addicted to them and I fear they've given me unrealistic expectations for the success rate of my gambling endeavors. I'll stick to lining up Pikachu faces.

Oh come on, getting 7's isn't that hard, if you eventually take the time to get the timing down. Though that right there is the real problem. And yes, I wouldn't do any slots if I were you. Best case scenario, you spend a few hundred dollars and get maybe $5 back, unless your incredibly lucky
