So it has come to light that R. Mika is voiced by Naruto in both English AND Japanese versions of Street Fighter V.

Power was out in my home town for most of yesterday. I had to work in the dark at my work. I just got power back at my house today. Yey.

 

Why?

 

I just read the verb "assess" as the noun "asses."
I kept reading it over and over again, but couldn't make sense of the sentence.
I even thought the writer had missed a word and it was supposed to be "asses" until I realized that tone made no sense with the article.
Then I finally understood what it was.

I have ass on my brain.

 

Why did the power went out? There was a storm yesterday. Blew out the power in a few cities.

 

Light rain here as well, but no power outages.

It's 2015 and actors still get hate over the characters they play. Is this a thing that can stop?

Context: Cody Christian, who plays Theo, is getting hate because of what his character did this past season on Teen Wolf. To summarize 10 episodes worth of plot: Theo turned out to be not a good guy after making everyone(sans the audience) think he was good.

But actors are not their characters. Yeah, they can get into the role and stuff but it's really no reason to send them hate.

 

I guarantee that that will NEVER stop. People will be ignorant to the end of time.

Unfortunately, I'm often a realist.

 

Unfortunately, that's not anything new and happens with any show, like Degrassi. It can also happen the other way, which can be both a good and bad thing, I guess. See these for some examples:

Some things just cannot be translated well.

By the way, in case you didn' t know, "vol de mort" is French for "death burglary" (bit of an awkward way to imply "death cheater").
It can also mean "flight of death".
If memory serves there are other French puns peppered through the books.

 

audrey hepburn is like a real life hero. defined by a tragic event and dedicated to helping others because of it. if those comicbook hereos are defined by what informs their actions and having an ideal to represent, she's the closest we've ever had. she's like superman in that there's no catch. no hidden dark side. pure altruism and dedication to humanity. i'm 50 pages into this 400+ page bio and i've already cried once

 

A classmate of mine from high school died recently. I don't know how or when exactly, but I remember seeing him sometime earlier this summer. We got along alright, and I feel bad that he went away so young.

 

I was having a relatively decent day at work. I was almost done with my shift and went I took out my phone to look at the time I accidentally lost my grip and it fell out of my hand and hit the floor. Now it isn't working and I had promised a friend I would text her after I got off work, which I can't do without my phone.

So now I have to get a new phone and I don't even know if they can move all my stuff from my phone to the new one (specifically my contacts I have). And if they can't lose all my friends' numbers, especially if my phone number has to change.
