While that's very much true, it isn't really the point. People in worse-off economies now have to spend more to get the same amount of content. Unnecessary expenditure, sure, but isn't a LOT of stuff we enjoy unnecessary?

 

I don't see how it isn't the point. If someone isn't doing well financially, it is ill-advised to spend money on something that at best makes your character in a video game look slightly better. Micro-transactions are a bonus, no more no less.

Don't get me wrong, it sucks that certain people can't afford certain things, but Riot is a business.

 

I just watched The Wolf of Wall Street. absolutely amazing.

Hype'd up on stupid amounts of caffeine because I didn't do this English paper I was supposed to do all week.

I just "Chappie" and I'm sweating. This film took my attention with metal hands and I loved it.

So I've been reading a few thoughts and reviews about "Chappie."

I'm actually sad...I liked it a lot...

 

Anyone else ever feel like in school they just aren't doing good enough? I mean for God's sake I have a 4.0 and I feel like I am "this close" to messing up big time.

The pressure man...its fucking real ._.

 

Every damn day.

There are days when I just am confounded what possessed me to even try seriously studying to be a game journalist, something I already get flak for.

 

That's how I feel about the medical industry. It's like oh yay only 15 people get into the program I want to get in per semester. I'm doomed....

 

For me, it's kind of the opposite: game journalists aren't exactly respected, so there seems to be a negative stigma around it.
