Just finished watching John Carpenter's The Thing again. Easily one of the greatest horror films of all time. Perfectly delivered paranoia and distrust, coupled with truly disturbing creature designs and a story that really is horrifying.

 

And then they made a prequel movie with none of that.

 

I actually want to watch it. My expectations are low enough I think.
