Tales of Darkness

As the beasts attacks continued to gradually that there toll on him. While he was still standing, if things continued as they were, it wouldn't be long before he soon fell due to his injuries. To solve this he would need to attack with stronger attacks and there was one that he's yet to use, "Straight Impact!" Using all the strength that he could muster, he ran in spear into the beast.

 

Sol was quite enjoying this fight against this big enemy. Despite all the pansies with their whole fireballs and power arrows Sol was simply enjoying his ability to be able to cleave into this little big wolfmon, mightyena, thing. Regardless, the ruin maniac gal had used actual useful magic. That useful magic being the gift of being able to kill shit even better than he already could. And that was pretty undefined how well he could kill. Though despite this buff, he was stuck sitting on his ass for a bit since his was last in the turn order, that made him rather annoyed. But persevere through it he did and released his Hyper Slash arte again because goddamn it if he wasn't going to make this beast hurt as well as he could.

 

Skadi braced herself as best she could as the creature attacked. It hurt, but not as much as she had expected. She wasn't sure if the beast was holding back or she just had high expectations for it, however. The loss of the life of a creature from the woods was something Skadi did not like, however who knew how many others would fall if this creature were allowed to roam free. Keeping this in mind, she released another fireball towards the creature.

 

Mist charged in with another Hyper Slash hoping her cuts were doing some damage to the vile looking creature. It was hard to tell however, they had no information on him and the magic lens continued to look more and more appealing to use. She resisted and continued the onslaught.

Aiden Still couldn't get over how stupid this thing looked. It was also annoying and he wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Elisa was just standing there. He ignored that and launched more arrows at the "GentleMieu".

 

Rowan's gaze set upon the creature, using an ability to strengthen it's own powers. The mage didn't know what was coming, but he was sure it wouldn't be good. He debated simply casting another fireball, as they were doing a significant amount of damage as it was, but he decided that caution was the best course of action. He held out his staff in front of him and closed his eyes, apparently trying to concentrate. Finally, after muttering a spell, he began to hum with magical energy. "Fly!" Rowan called, and fly he did. His staff's magic levitating him high into the air and well out of the creature's reach.

 

Skadi rushed forward and slammed the end of her staff into the GentleMieu with all the force she could muster. She didn't like combat all too much, she hated the idea of harming just about anything, but if it was necessary for them to progress then there wasn't much choice; she had to fight.

 

"We need to kill this thing... Kessha is getting weaker." Mist yelled at the others. Thankfully most of them were attacking and they were given a defense buff from Presea. They needed it. Mist only had enough energy to use one more Rising Slash. After that it would need to be more basic until she could recover more stamina. "Rising Slash!" She yelled out at the GentleMieu.

Sasha pulled back another bow, taking a few careful steps back. Careful Guys! It looks like it's gonna prepare something on the next attack! Sasha launched another Charged Shot at the wolf, carefully monitoring its moves after their next attacks.​

 

While it was hard to tell if the beast was nearing death or not by looking at it, it definitely was getting weaker, even if it was a slow process. So instead of waiting, he went in for another attack.

 

It was quite the show this beast had for them. Oooohhhh how that last combination of attacks was beautiful. Sure he was more of a solo act kind of guy and sure he usually despised magic, but after that attack, damn son it'd make a guy turn at the drop of dime. Between that random ruin nutcase using magic that actually helped people like him inflict more damage, and a team attack that cause that much pain, Sol was just swooned. Granted this beast wanted to seem to take them on with a large ass attack of its own, and because everyone wanted that title and/or didn't want to waste an attack no one in either of the groups it was impossible to tell how much health this thing still had. So Sol decided it had too much health and slashing it dead was the only, truly glorious, solution. If only he had a hyper slash left, but alas, the concept known as TP inhibited him from abusing such a skill. So he just attacked with a regular boring old slash.​

Aiden Decided to wait just a little bit longer before using a magic lense. He knocked an arrow, charged it full of energy, and shot.

 

Having successfully evaded the attack, Rowan floated back down to the ground. He was glad that Raine had healed the others, but he wished he could do something to help. All he could do was try to end the fight quickly, but his next spell wouldn't be at full strength. In any case, Rowan charged up a fireball and tossed it at the beast.

 

The creature seemed to be slowing down, but it was tough to be sure. What would it take to bring it down completely? Skadi released another fireball, hoping that it would do the job.

Well this is gonna hurt. That was the only thing that ran through Sasha's head before she got launched at and attacked by the wolf along with the others. Knocked onto her back, she flipped back onto her feet. "Gods that hurt a lot." Examining the wolf, she made the fact that with such attack, the wolf should be regaining it's energy and whatnot. An extra few breather moments. Good. She notched an arrow and fired a Charged Shot at the wolf.​
