Not looking forward to choosing between 012 and Dirge of Cerberus

 

I will defend Final Fantasy VIII until my untimely death.

Even with all of its many plot holes and wasted characters.

 

Hey I was surprised too mother****er but this **** happens

 

easy.

 

But 012 was really fun :'c and it came packaged with THE ENTIRETY OF DISSIDIA 1. THAT'S SOME GODDAMNED VALUE.

...Depending on how you look at it. 012 could also be construed as a substantial-yet-overpriced DLC pack.

Also, I dunno who else came into Dissidia at 012, but that was really awesome to have.

 

Oh yeah D012 is great no denying that imo. and D1 being there is like... the best idea ever.
But from my perspective DoC is a better experience. and D012 got really repetitive and boring after the 150th hour to the point where playing it makes me physically sick.
all i'm saying is for my time I would play DoC before 012.

 

DoC was a fantastic game, despite what other people say it's easily one of my fav ps2 games of all time.

I didn't think much of Dirge of Cerberus. Rented it around the time it came out, finished it, and never wanted to play it again. The mechanics were just way too simple. It felt like a pretty typical third-person shooter, just featuring Vincent and a weird story (the bosses and the finale were cool though.)

 

There are people who actually like Dirge of Cerberus? I put that in as almost a joke along with XIII

 

Yes, there always is someone who likes what you don't like (and, usually, vice versa.) Best thing to do is respectfully disagree and have fun discussions about these things.

 

Dirge of Cerberus is preeeetty mediocre
I'd take Dissidia... or really pretty much any other FF game... over that
