So I finished Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

And I even finished with 100%. Now I just need to get PS Plus so I can get the Multiplayer Trophies, as well as see if the Multiplayer is even good.

 

It's... Not.

Love the game though

 

The MP is garbage and dead, all I have left is MP trophies and I spent 2 hours trying to get into games, managed to find 2 games, and both ended early due to cry babies who can't handle getting wrecked.

It's also a laggy and spawn campy mess.

 

Oh well, too bad about that. At least the game is worth playing multiple times

yeaaaah I am not happy about this, I do want to try the multiplayer once I get through single player. I'm getting all the collectibles and junk and I just want a platinum dammit. ;c

If it was just a few MP trophies, like idk "kill five people" then whatever but I'm pretty sure one of them is to reach like level 60 in MP? I don't know how long that would take but it sounds irritating

 

Unfortunately, I can't be of service there. A friend of mine and I run a thing amongst our inner-circles to prevent this sort of frustration where we plan days to play old multiplayer games and grind out the achievements. That's legit all you can do once a multiplayer community dies- fill up a lobby with people you know for like a month and get as much work done as possible

Even with that, I'll forever not be able to 1000g Dark Sector :C

 

Yeah I'm sure @Androssi will play some with me, and @SynK also volunteered so I'm sure we can scrounge up some more KHV-ers to help me grind my way to my first plat. But still... why

 

I hate MP specific trophies even when I enjoy the multiplayer because one day I know those trophies will literally become impossible to get :/

 

Actually, I was looking that up, and I found some methods online involving even just 2 people to get up experience and level up your character. Though I will say, it makes sense that you can only play as Lara once you hit lv60, but it also it strange that the main character you can only play as after who-knows-how-long. But yeah, you can I can at least help each other out if no one else can. Though once school starts up, it'd get difficult...so you might want to hurry on that completion. I bought the game on Saturday and beat it 100%....hurry up already!!

Did we ever find out if you can cross play between ps3 and ps4? Because I totes don't have a ps4 yet...

 

Just googled and it doesn't look like it is. :( I'm not sure if the trophies for the PS3 version are separate from the PS4 version, though -- if they're not then I can play multiplayer on my PS3 since I got the game through PS+ a few months ago. Or, well, I can even do that just to play with y'all.
