    I don't see the strange here... I see Japanese, but strange? Nah.

    4Kids had better voice actors for One Piece, but they had no idea what they were getting into. The amount of censoring was unreal.

    I mean, valid, but I still liked the non-DBZ voices more. That said, One Piece is mega popular in Japan so that's a very high expectation.

    I have nothing against the voice actors who worked on that dub, but my god was the voice direction on that show abysmal. All Luffy did was screech all the time, Ussopp was just too monotone, and they just had to ruin other characters by following their dumb tradition of giving characters dumb accents...the only actually voice I approve of was Zoro. With better voice direction, a better script, not as bad censorship, and the original opening they were going to go with the show might not have been as bad it was...key word is might mind you....rant complete.
