I can't believe Nomura even thought about using this.

 

What was Sora supposed to be?
A really hairy child, with a tail?​

 

This Sora... kind of looks like a monkey... mixed with some sort of animal with claws...

 

And this is why Zidane was a monkey child.

There are even reasons why Nomura changed his mind about this choice of look for Sora.

For one, the sword was too violent for a game for kids.

 

Lawdy...Kingdom Hearts would've been much weirder if we had to play as THAT...

Maybe they scrapped the idea because it resembled Zidane a little too much?

 

acctually if you look sora is actually an anthropomorphic lion, if you look at games like Final Fantasy lions feature alot

 

My goodness, is that a chainsaw he's carrying? You can still kinda see elements of Sora, like the crowns and stuff.

I thought it might interest you lot to know that Tetsuya Nomura basically copied Soras looks from one of his earlier character designs. The character was called Sion Bahzad from the game 'The Bouncer' which was a bit of a flop.

wow! it's like Sora in another dimention, maybe this game will show in a later KH storyline.... the same way that FF and TWEWY do

 

That would be extremely awesome if it did. Sion could be Sora's father or something.

Plus That's the lionheart key chain on the end

 

That would be epic!!! It would be nice to finally see some of the characters pearants in the storyline apart from Sora's mums line ^^

 

It looks like FFIX... Oh well.

I don't think Sora would be the same with... this appearance. I think I prefer Sora the way he is now.

 

Actually, when the first game was in production, Mickey and Donald were chosen as the hero, but Nomura wanted a human hero, so Sora was born. This was his first design, but it was changed to the design we all know and love now.

 

Yeah, Sora really doesn't need to be a anthropomorphic Dog. We already have Donald, Doofy, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Jiminy Cricket to cover the furry fans. :D

 

HaHaHaHaHaHaHa-!!! I remember this! I have seen some color versions of this too. Sora was a half human half animal thing holding a chainsaw but at least you can see the similarities between this and the final Sora. I kinda wish they kept the studs. That would have been bad ass :D

Didn't one of the FF (I think 8) Have a guy with a tail? O_o All I remember was it had Garnet in it. xD It doesn't look too bad, just way different than what we're used to. I remember the first time I saw it. I was a little disturbed. xD Too furry...

 

I guess I'm the only one who likes this Sora more then the one we have? I dunno why but this one just seem more interesting, I mean they'd be the same character right? Just the looks are different
