Orbs of Life

Having seen that the bomb was primed to explode once more, Zephine wasn't all that concerned with it. It wasn't really that bad of an attack to deal with, just a bit annoying. Though she while she looked at the fuse, she thought there might be a way to diffuse it...but nah, that probably wouldn't work. Thinking of another idea, she thought that wouldn't work either...and then think of another one she unfortunately couldn't do because she lacked a towel. Man, the amount of times a towel would have helped here was absolutely astonishing. Whatevs. Zephine just went to basic repeat the same action she had done this entire fight thus far.

 

It looked like they had another opportunity to attack. Star used her basic attack since that was all she could do for now.

 

Alkes couldn't help but smirk. Sure he was starting to get a bit cocky but they were doing great and it seemed they were getting somewhere in this battle. As such Alkes decided to spice things up and use a kick

 

After the water exploded on them again, Zephine still felt right as rain as the attack basically just sort of was brushed off of her. As she kept her scythe at the ready, she could the see that the angel wasn't doing so hot right now and that they were making good progress. So, Zephine figured if it wasn't broke, to not fix it, and just went along with her same scythe slash again.

They'd done quite a bit of damage to Frieza, so let's do some more. Renju used Flare again.

If they kept this up this match was sure to be over soon. Unless this angel preformed some super ultimate uber attack they were sure to win this battle without difficulty.Alkes let out a strong attack

 

Zephine followed suit with everyone else and decided to strike while the iron was continually hot, going in and slashing with her scythe at the angel of water.

 

Star used a basic attack​

 

Alkes sent his leg forward and kicked the angel

 

Zephine, starting to feel a bit worse for wear, continued with her result regardless and struck back with her scythe once more.

 

Star saw as Zephine took a large amount of damage from that last attack. She wanted to help, but right now, all she could do was use a physical attack. She used Strong Attack, going all out!​

 

Zephine took damage, however she was still doing fine enough to keep on fighting and they were almost done. "Hang in there Zeph!" Alkes called out as he sent a Strong Attack at the angel.

 

After getting hit by a large blast of water, again, Zephine was starting to feel pretty hurt by these attacks. However, she wasn't about to let some injuries, even if she were in the danger zone from them, get in the way. And it still inspired confidence in her fighting. After all, if she were taking all the hits right now, as she had wanted to from the get go, then that just meant everyone else was doing fine. Being unhampered by this water, Zephine continued to attack at the angel.

 

The group had done significant damage to the angel. Aqua was not fond of the situation whatsoever. She ended the battle and glared at them all. "You are all no fun. I'm just trying to do my job. Oh well. I'll get it done here and then leave!" She yelled. The angel flew up to the large star orb in the center of the room and smashed it before anyone could do anything.

"Well, that's that! Goodbye!" The angel surrounded herself with her wings and twirled around, vanishing, only leaving feathers behind.

Party acquired attack: Hydro Bomb - This attack causes Soak on the enemy making them have a 15% chance of missing.

Now that the orb to the world had been destroyed, the ground shook, the temperature of the world began to increase rapidly. The world was going to explode now that its orb had been broken. If an orb shatters, so does its world.

Star tried to activate her orb to open up a portal back to the Connected World, but nothing happened. "Guys, we have a problem. I cant open a portal!" She said in a panic.

As she continued to try, an orb appeared in front of them, Styme could be heard on the other side. "Listen, I know what the situation is. You must leave the planet at once! There isn't much time so listen to my instruction. All of you are going to have to place your orbs as close together as possible and link your minds to open a portal simultaneously. The world's imbalance is preventing most frequencies that allow teleportation. You must make haste!" The orb vanished.

Star looked back at Zephine and Alkes. Her orb was in her hand and she put it forward. "Let's get out of here. Alive."

 

Their teamwork was great and their movements were smooth. At the beginning he was quite unsure about working with all these guys but now that he was able to work with Zephine and Star he was happily proven wrong. There were close in finishing off this angel, however she acted fast. "damn it..." Alkes said dashing forward in an attempt to punch the fleeing angel only to miss once she vanished.

He really did not like this world in the slightest, however he did not expect it would be blowing up, with him on it. Once Star began to state how the portal would not open, Alkes let out a groan and rubbed his temples hard. To his relief, Styme had responded and they were given a way home. When Star placed out her orb Alkes did the same and held out his own "yeah, its about time we got out of this hellhole" Alkes grummbled

 

After having dealt their combined assault of attacks, the angel seemed pretty upset with how everything had ended for her. Aqua, as it turns out, was a really sore loser and just broke the orb and skedaddled off. Zephine would have chased after her but she was a bit on the slow side and even more so tired out from the fight. However, with the orb broken, the world seemed to breaking now, and that was no bueno. Trying to leave immediately, it appeared that they couldn't really get out of here through conventional means, but good thing Styme seemed to be on the case and no just about everything needed.

Walking over to the rest of the group, Zephine spun her scythe around ,turning it back into an orb, and clutching the thing. Stretching out her arm and putting her orb alongside everyone else's she said, "yeah, let's all go home now."

 

With all the orbs placed together, they linked their minds and opened a portal together. They were warped back to the Connected Land. The planet that they were once on was now destroyed, completely gone. The world might have had little to no life on it, but it was still a world that had potential and needed protection. The group had failed to keep the world safe or defeat the angel threatening it...

Star stood at the stairs right outside the manor. She was annoyed and sad at the same time. They couldn't protect this world. They were so successful last time but now it was a complete failure. "Damn it. I'll get her, I'll kill that damn angel!" She hit the ground with her fist. "I hope the others are having better luck." She was forming some tears now. The other group hadn't arrived yet.

 

Frieza was probably dead after the Flare attack. Myst hadn't done the rolls yet, so Hunter had no idea if he was or wasn't even though this battle was supposedly real time for him. But hey, there were always other forms of Frieza, and there was no such thing as overkill, so Hunter just used the same attack again.​

Hunter used Freeze​

 

Frieza had grown angry. In the distance was Gohan and another green man who looked tough enough to go toe to toe with most fighters like Frieza. "Let's go Piccolo!" Gohan said, appearing behind Frieza and elbowing him to the ground. Krillin hit Frieza to the side and Piccolo ended with a kick.

In the distance, Vegeta could be heard, coming to partake in the battle. Vegeta pounded Frieza to the ground with the combo. "Come on Frieza, show me your other from, or are you going to let yourself be beat down by us?" Vegeta mocked. Frieza growled and transformed into a larger version of himself. He went over to Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta, knocking them all out. Dende went to heal them. Piccolo had joined the team.
