You use the horn on what you perceive as danger, and being cut off is a danger.

Except the horn is meant to warn people of danger. It does no good after they've already cut you off or the danger has taken place. Then it's just telling someone you're angry for what they did.

And Amaury, if you think he is kidding, he isn't. This stuff happens. Stuff like this has happened several times in my area. A general rule of thumb to live by when it comes to "road rage". The other person is bigger than you, stronger than you, and has nothing to lose. Are you really going to take your chances against something like that? Use your brain when it comes to situations like this man.

Yes, but is your horn going to do anything about that? Generally the person would have already cut you off before you even got the chance to honk your horn. At this point its just a metaphorical "fuck you" to the other driver, which as said before, is a stupid idea.

Lol I was giving actual advice, if he wants to piss off the wrong person and take his chances with what happens after that, fine by me.

 

These threads are a regular occurrence. Sound advice or not, Amaury has already well-established his love for the horn and I don't think there's anything that can change that. I hope he doesn't get hit, but what you said is very true.
I was talking to this one guy this one time and he was saying how he honked at a guy in front of him, and while stopped at a light the guy got out of his truck, came back to him, and was trying to open his door to beat him up and stuff. there are some legit psychos out there yo. and most of them can drive
