After Stratos had made his own entrance, Glen then said something about doing his own flashy thing. However, Stratos didn't think that the single strike that he used really constituted as flashy. Regardless, they were beating down on this thing really easily and Stratos decided to strike with something that he hadn't used...probably ever. Putting his hand over his heart for a second, it started to glow, and that glow then turned into a crackling green electricity that went around him. With it, he charged forward delivering a single powerful blow straight towards the thing with a Guardian's Rush.

"Hey! That's cheating! How did you get more CG than I did?" Glen asked, genuinely shocked. Just a little more and he'd have it. Releasing a flurry of attacks, Glen attacked with all his might, filling the remainder of his CG gauge and enabling the use of a single, powerful, victory-ensuring limit.

She wasn't sure if she missed something, but Glen and Stratos seemed to be in some sort of CG fight? She wasn't truly paying much attention to it. Thinking the blue demon had enough people covering it for now, Kaida continued to attack with magic towards the black demon. She attacked until she realized her magic was all used up... for now.

After having used his class limit, Glen asked him about it to which he said, "simple. What I'm aiming for is weaker and cheaper to use then what you're aiming for. So with that in mind, that lets me do this." His heart shined again as his hand went over it, and the exact same green lightning had crackled over Stratos again. With it, he charged forward, once more, launching himself at a guardian's rush towards the blue demon. With it, he impacted with and kept it stun locked with the help from Glen's attacks.

"Oh, so I should be equipping other abilities instead. Right. Well, I would do that, but..." he said as his body became engulfed in a golden glow. Floating up into the air, the sheer aura of power radiating from Glen caused debris that I swear had been there all along to start being pushed away, shaking on the ground as it went as though there was some kind of earthquake. "Then I can't do this!" he shouted, before flying down towards the Blue Demon, rocketing into it with the force of a great typhoon. On impact, time seemed to slow down, and the demon fell down onto the ground and began flashing yellow; Glen had triggered its stagger gauge, and damn was it a hard-to-get one.

After he had used limit again, Stratos looked at Glen who had talked about how he could do one limit, but that would completely bar him from using the Trip Around The Sun. Stratos was actually a bit confused about that. He had never run into that kind of problem himself before, so he wasn't really sure what Glen was going on about. However, he just put that to the side, and said, "well if you say so." With that, he ran towards the thing, using zantetsuken on it and creating a large cut in the space around it. The demon wasn't dead, but with Glen and his combined efforts, it was damn near close to it.

In a completely boring and non-creative post, Glen struck the final blow and ended the existence of the creature formerly known as the Blue Demon. It really chose the wrong group to mess with, behold the might of spam.

Beuce had neglected do do anything thus far due to...The fighting re-opening the wound on his arm! Yeah, that. That's what happened. He clutched the wound in pain as blood covered his hand. Doing a makeshift job of patching it up with a quick Cure spell, he looked at the specter in front of them. A black cloak, flying around. Physical attacks weren't going to work against this thing, it seemed. That meant he was the best suited out of the bunch to handle it. The only one who beat him as far as being a mage goes was Hikaru. Running at the thing, he slid under a swipe of its claw and blasted it in the back with a fira. He dodge rolled to the side as it shot a ball of black fire at him.

So far, this fight hadn't been too tough it seemed. However, when things were fought in a duo, they always had a habit of gaining a desperation move when their partner went down. This thing's seemed to not look too powerful in concept, but given the effect it had on Beuce, it evidently was. It clutched its hands over where its face would be, arched back, and unleashed a ghostly wail. Waves of energy, resembling sound waves flew from it at the keyblade wielder as a deafening wail overpowered all sound. Try as he might, Beuce couldn't stand against it, and was blown back. Apparently rather injured by the attack, he reached into his pocket for his Hi-po...God dammit.

After having felled the blue demon through their combined efforts, Stratos extended out his hand to Glen in a manner to high five him saying, "awesome work there Glen. Now then, let's go finish this other guy off." After that, he proceeded to run forward, and saw Beuce finally get into the fight, only to be wailed at by the ghost. Well, that was certainly something else. The guy seemed to be in a bit of a bad situation and so Stratos let loose a cure spell on him, followed by an aerora to keep his low defensive capabilities balanced out. Stratos then went to go strike the thing himself and said, "alright guys, let's give it our all!" With that he dashed forward straight towards his opponent and glowed with a white light. As he got close to the thing, he let loose four pillars of light that shot forward and struck the beast with great force. However, it wasn't quite dead yet. Not to mention, unlike before, it hadn't staggered at all. Instead, it lunged forward and struck at Stratos with his claws, raking it across his torso, causing a fair bit of damage. However, that wasn't the worst part of it. While the wound was open and stinging, there was some sort of mist flowing out of it that seemed to be draining his stamina as well. Well that was annoying.

After Karina had preformed her combo a wave of sickness washed over her making her feel dizzy and nauseous. Everything around her seemed to slow down. Karina knelt close to the ground and held her head allowing for everyone else to attack while she got over... well whatever this was, she really didn't know. Perhaps she just needed a rest from things. However why would she need a rest and no one else need one. She was strong she had trained for quite a while and had high agility. This didn't make sense. And why now? Why did she have to get sick now? Karina ended up collapsing to the floor holding her stomach. The world around her blurred and started to become dark. Why now? She hadn't even gotten injured. Like the thousand heartless battle she seemed to pass out at the worst times. Karina let out a groan. She had to do something to help before she passed out. A small fireball left the tip of her keyblade before the world went black for her. It was nothing special, wasn't even that strong, and she could only hope it hit the mark.

In the darkness names were called out. "Useless... pathetic.... nothing.... stupid.... whore.... worthless." Her fathers voice echoed in her mind. Reminders of why she was here, but not only that, reminders why she shouldn't go letting anyone in. Reminders what she truly was. In the darkness came a curled up shivering. The figure resembled Karina but a lot younger, more frail. She was chained to the floor. When the girl looked up her face was stained with tears. Who was this girl? It was Karina's true identity, what she was really like deep inside her heart. The girl she kept chained deep down as a reminder of why she had become what she had become. Why she couldn't simply just stop being this. Because if she stopped the act of being as touch as she was, then people would see this side of her and if they saw that side of her... well it would be a repeat of what happened with her father.

As soon as her father found her biggest weakness, the need to be truly appreciated for what she tried to do. No matter what it was. She wanted to fight but she didn't plan to become this... She was going to be a run of the mill soldier, just good enough to make the army, good at everything. But she wasn't good enough so she had to go above and beyond in everything she did. But her father knew that it bothered her when he didn't appreciate what she did, so to get back at all the trouble that she caused. This was on top of the beating she would get because clearly those where not enough to get through to her.

This all scared Karina to no end but she swallowed her fear and kept moving. It was the hardest thing that she had ever done. She locked the fragile hurt girl deep in her heart and put on a mask. Mickey cracked the mask slightly, so did Beuce and Stratos. The mask was about to fall apart and Karina didn't know what to do about it. Perhaps it was the stress of that that caused her to feel sick. Perhaps there was something she needed to be reminded of, but she didn't want to be reminded of any of this. She didn't want to see the cracks in the darkness of her heart threatening to expose what was beneath. It wasn't fair. Why now?

Glen's post was nowhere near as dramatic as Karina's. Upon seeing Karina pass out, the boy didn't know what to think. Was she really that bad in magic, or had the black demon secretly cast some kind of death magic? No no, she was still breathing...was magic really that hard? Holding his keyblade forward, he shrugged off the thought and prepared to cast a spell. He focused on the image of the fireball, the feeling of it flying through the air, and then he channeled his magic and cast a spell!

And a puff of smoke was all that came from the end of it. Looking at his keyblade with a confused look on his face, Glen shook it a few times. No dice, it was busted. Maybe it took some kind of dramatic event, some kind of adrenaline rush or something. Running straight at the black demon, the keyblade warrior raised his keyblade and pointed it at the demon point blank range. "FIRA!" he screamed, but nothing happened. "GOD DAMNIT YOU STUPID KEY" he shouted angrily, hurling his keyblade at the ground. As he did so, it unleashed a mighty fireball that exploded in the area around it, knocking Glen off of his feet and away from the demon.

Using the guard of his keyblade he punched a hammer frame in the face, and quickly swung his keyblade around to smack another hammer frame in the face; it was trying to lunge at him. With quick foot work, D'daear quickly dashed at another hammer frame, and lunged the weapon at it. Tip of blade missed the hammer frame by a small margin, a mistake that almost caused him pain were it not for good footwork. The heartless had cocked its hammer head slightly in order to avoid its demise, and as to retaliate it flung itself forward as to smash D'daear's face. Pivoting off the heel, the adolescent boy moved with the flow of the attack. Hammer passed by D'daear's arched back, the power behind the heartless feeling evident as air spirited in the gap between himself and attack. It was a close call, one that he would have to take a note off as he quickly used the momentum to bash the back of the hammer frames head with keyblades hilt. How did he almost get hit? Was he slowing down? D'daear took a small second to gather himself. Lungs were working overtime as chest expanded to make room for said lungs, the organ gathering air to help distribute oxygen throughout the body. Uttering a sound of complaint under breathe, he looked on to the hammer frames that had gathered on the first floor. Ever since he had done that special thing on the girder, these things began to swarm the area where Aden and himself were. Heck, were it not for Hikaru and the others fighting up top, there'd probably be WAY more heartless surrounding the two by now. However, the amount of heartless gathering here was becoming something that you just could not be oblivious to. Brows furrowed while right hand gripped the keyblade once more, tightening as to gather his fears and anxiety. The last thing he wanted was for the two of them to become overpowered by the amount of baddies. The first wave was easier because he had control of the environment, and his energy was at its peak. However, now it was a different scenario.

Once more he uttered a sound of complaint under breath. "These things are beginning to tick me off." D'daear commented, mandible tensing as he tried to gather himself.

A heartless jumped at him, swing its hammer head at the boy. The tip of keyblade met the creatures chest, and by guiding the heartless overhead it was sent flying behind the keyblade wielder. The heartless smashed into a small group, forming a small dog pile.

As the group was fighting together and basically destroying this demon to no end, the fight seemed to be going in their favor. Granted, it was getting harder to deal with as time went on, and Stratos was losing a good deal of stamina from this things attacks, but nevertheless, they were just about done with this fight. As Stratos looked at the demon, he saw a lone fireball fly from Karina and explode on contact with the demon. However, something seemed horribly wrong with her. She seemed to pass out for a reason that he couldn't really understand, but ultimately it was a bit of a bad situation for her to be in.

Thankfully, Glen had sprung into action and attacked with a large explosion, which gave Stratos a good enough time to set up what he wanted to do next, in order to keep the attention off of Karina. Channeling a large sum of magic, Stratos summoned up a Dumbo into the scene in order to take on the demon. Directing it towards the demon, he said, "alright then boy, go help out everyone else while I take care of something." The elephant nodded, and went to work firing out jets of water towards the demon foe, dealing a fair bit of damage to it. Stratos then walked over to Karina and tried to think of what to do in this situation. He grabbed by the arm and tried to sling her over his shoulder to sort of carry her away from the crossfire and make it slightly easier to guard if anything came by.

D'daear was outnumbered in this fast paced battle. It was him versus twenty, and with him feeling exhaust, this was sure going to be one heck of a fight. Talk about a burly brawl. Thankfully, these heartless seemed a bit slower than usual. Perhaps he had his wit to thank for that, for you see he had been whittling away at them, bringing them down slowly prior to this. With brows furrowed, a snicker arose on the boy's lips as he noticed one of them lose their footing as if dazed. Pressing fore feet against the earth, he lunged himself at the said dazed heartless with keyblade ready to stab. In a swift motion D'daear sliced clean through the hammer frame, entering the fray of nineteen heartless. One heart was released. Hand tensed around the handle while keyblade was positioned in front of him in a chudan-gamae stance, or center level posture; where the user stands with right foot forward, body squared toward the opponent and holds the blade pointed forward at an upward angle so the point is level with the opponent's eyes. The sword forms a 30-degree angle from the horizontal line, with the end of the hilt held a fist's width from the navel. Left hand remained free, relaxed despite the anxiety coursing through him. A hammer frame jumped at him, face first and aimed at D'daear's chest. All it took was for him to move right foot diagonally forward in order to side step next to the advancing heartless. With a quick twist of the wrist, the keyblade was set horizontal and ready to cleave through the already weakened critter. A second heart was released upon contact. D'daear stood motionless in stance, arm never wavering as the blade stayed erect after having sliced through the second heartless. Irises looked up to level with the surrounding heartless. Eighteen were left, and it seemed they were growing eager to jump into this fray. One jumped into the air, and began to twirl its hammer head forward like a tossed hammer. Eyes caught it immediately, but upon being distracted, another heartless had taken the opportunity to headbutt D'daear in the back. Emitting a small cry, the adolescent quickly recovered from the pain and got back to stance; just in time to parry the hammer head he had witnessed first. Using the guard of the keyblade, he punted the hammer frame to a stop while feeling the opposing force travel through arm. Being in a fray with Eighteen heartless, the boy had no time to wince or anything. With determination, he plowed through the pain and swung the keyblade upward vertically with one hand while the heartless was still punted in midair. However, he did not stop there. Extending left hand to grip the keylades handle, he pulled the keyblade around while spinning around to build momentum for a powerful swing. Target: the heartless that had hit him before. Swinging it around, the blade cut through the hammer frames head, and accidentally got rid of three more heartless that were trying to gank him.

Five more hearts floated to the sky. With a front kick did D'daear send a hammer frame flying back while it gave the key wielder time to parry another incoming heartless. Footwork was key in this battle, and thankfully D'daear still had it despite his ever growing exhaustion. One, two, three hearts were released into the sky. That was ten heartless that were relieved of duty, dropping the number down to ten. The hilt of the keyblade smashed into a heartless before D'daear manipulated position of the weapon, and swung the blade down into a vertical slash. Sweat was pouring out of forehead, but a grin was planted on his face. Sword play was beginning to be easy for him. It was just so natural, the positioning of himself and the weapon. The keyblade truly was an extension of himself, and not just a mere tool; albeit any weapon could replace the keyblade and still becoming that extension that he needed. Frustration level was beginning to wane as he unleashed his fury on these dark creatures. After a good while, ten more hearts floated into the air.

Panting, the tip of keyblade tapped the earth beneath D'daear as he began to use it as a crutch while he took a quick breather; eyes averted to the floor. Heartless still loomed in the girders, and a few were making their way to the first floor where Aden and D'daear resided. Hearing the building echo with movement, head titled up in order for irises to look past tuft of hair and into the empty space that would soon be occupied by more heartless. Would more just spawn after they took care of these heartless? What was to stop them from spawning? This was indeed beginning to feel a little like central haven. The exhausted D'daear, the wave of heartless, and the anxiety level that fluctuated in him. It was all the same.

Swallowing saliva, he pulled himself together and got ready as more hammer frames made their way to the first floor. "Aden... how are you holding up back there, bud?" he asked halfheartedly; more so from exhaustion than not caring.

Now Karina stood in front of the smaller scared version of herself that was locked deep in her heart. Karina trembled as she took a step closer to the girl. The closer she got the more she came to realize this girl was not wearing any clothing. Upon reaching the girl Karina froze, staring at her bare back. A trembling hand reached out and touched one of two long scars that crossed that crossed her back. Karina could now feel a slight ache in her own back where those scars still lay. The ones no one knew about except the people who where their for that event, about half the town. No one part of this group knew about them though. She remembered the day she had received the scars vividly.

It started with her standing before her father and a strange man that she had never met before. He was close to ten years older then her, fairly hansom, fit, a part of her fathers army, but he also had little respect for woman. She had seen how he had treated some of his servants before and it was not pleasant. Karina didn't know what to expect but she didn't know what to expect if she went through with this arranged marriage. She respected her father, and wanted to respect his choices and be a good daughter, but a part of her told her that she couldn't. She couldn't bring herself to follow what he wanted because of the reputation of the man she was betrothed to. So she ended up letting her temper get the better of her, yelling and spitting in his face, refusing to marry him. Of course both of the men got annoyed, angry for this. The man who she was betrothed to was yelling for her to get stoned in the street, but instead her father convinced him of a different punishment in which she would live but with two stipulations. One being she was to get whipped in the street, the other that she had to live out her days as a complete servant to her father, no longer a daughter, just a possession. But at least she would live. Karina never thought of herself as much more than just a possession to her father anyways, he didn't seem to acknowledge her as anything else no matter how hard she tried.

Later that night Karina had been dragged into the middle of the town square. She was forced to her knees, hands tied in front of her to a pole in the ground so her back was easily exposed. Her shirt was torn from her back so there was nothing to numb the pain even in the slightest. She was forced to sit in the street like that for a good half an hour before anything would happen. Just to humiliate her. Show her worthlessness to the entire world. To expose her for the nothingness that she really was. The disgrace she was. To show that she was unworthy of anything the world had to offer to her anymore. Her muscles were tired and sore from sitting in the same position when the true punishment came. Two lashes, one each from the men she had wronged. One from the man her father tried to betroth her to, and the other from her father. Karina thought that she was ready, that she knew what she signed up for but when the time came for the punishment it as more agonizing that she would have believed. Two lashes from a cord whip both from men with great strength. Both strikes made her cry out with pain as warm blood dripped down her back. Tears rolled down Karina's face as everyone stood around and simply laughed. People took there time filing away after that, no one bothering to stop and help her. She was left tied there until the last person left and her mother was permitted to leave the house and release her. However she was not permitted to help with the injuries in anyway. Karina was left to deal with the wounds on her back by herself, which was a seemingly impossible job due to the fact they where two lines crossing the length of her back and there was no way of reaching them properly. The pain that followed in the next days was one tat she barely thought she could manage as her father put her to work. Many times the wounds opened again and she had to start the healing process one more time. It felt like at least a month before they ever truly closed without worry of reopening.

Karina removed her hand from the girls back and stepped away still shaking. Why did her mind bring her here to this place? Why was she forced to live this again. She was supposed to be helping fight not passed out and taking a trip through the inner workings of her mind. It was unfair and painful. She didn't want to go through that again. She looked around in the darkness to see cracks of light. The shell, the shield that protected her heart was starting to break. Karina ran to one of the cracks desperately trying to find a way to patch it. It wasn't working, there was no patching it. The only solution was finding a way to keep it from cracking further. To keep people away from her so they couldn't break it any more. Did that mean she had to continue being the monster that she had become? Did she have to stay in that life to protect herself from others, and more importantly others from that side of her. She feared what would happen if it got out. Whatever it was it wouldn't be good.

Also Karina's keyblade lifted up and shot another fire ball without Karina being conscious because it has a mind of its own. And don't say this doesn't work, look at V
entus in bbs, he did it twice.

"Eh? Is it . . . over?" She opened one eye then the other after seeing that the coast was clear, or so she thought. Rain then proceeded to dust herself off since the whole tremble caused a lot of sawdust to fall out from the floorboards above. "Why do I feel so light? Hm Oh! Keyblade! Not that I'll need it now but- oh there you are!" It was laying across from her, almost inches from falling off the edge.

She jogged towards it to pick it up until something from behind pushed her. She let out a short yelp as she felt herself falling but then managed to grab a hold on a chain that dangled just on her left. Clenching her teeth she looked up only to see more heartless spawning and looking down as if they were taunting her. "Oh I see how it is" she glared. With her keyblade being held by her legs she slowly began to climb down the chain, but suddenly stopped at the sight of more heartless grouping down below. "Looks like I have no choice but to jump down" taking a deep breath she readied herself for the impact. But before jumping, she threw her keyblade down first in an attempt to clear them out. The keyblade almost had a domino like effect, killing heartless as it bounced off from one another until eventually she summoned it back into her hand.

From the nine that spawned only five remained in which they started to run off. After setting foot on the floor boards, her eyes searched for the ones that ran off. "I'm not moving from this spot, chasing after them is what they want me to do." Not long from those words being said, more appeared striking at her without hesitation. Rain leaped into the air doing an ariel attack, hitting two of them successfully while avoiding the ones that lunged themselves down below.

After Glen's spectacular accident with his fireball explosion thing, he felt he couldn't go wrong with his spells; if even a failure turned into a success, he would quickly become the best mage of them all! Pointing his keyblade at the physical immune demon, he aimed like a professional marksman and fired. It missed. Well, that sucked, it turned out Karina was a better mage than him even while she wasn't conscious, and that was just embarassing. However, it did explode as it reached the end of its range, doing some damage to the demon..

Beuce rose back to his feet as Stratos used cure to heal him, and gave him a barrier with aero. He nodded in thanks. He'd given him the opportunity to get back into the fight after that hit. He could do huge amounts of damage of all varieties, but when it came to taking damage, there weren't many worse than him. This would help with that weakness, if only slightly. Looking over at the battle, he saw Glen battling the demon. He launched a Fira spell at the thing, and not only was it completely pathetic as far as power goes, it missed. He freaking missed. "Well, my brotagonist, let me show you how it's done." He thought in a ******y voice as he walked over to glen. "That's not a spell mate, THIS is a spell!" He said in the fakest Australian accent imaginable. He transformed into his black mage form. This thing was imune to physical attacks anyway. He waved his hand, gathering up energy. The air distorted under the heat of the flames the spell produced. Arching back his elbow to his side, he thrust his hand forward, sending an enormous firaga flying at it, which due to him having magic lock-on equipped, struck its target with extreme accuracy and power. It was almost down. One more strike would do it.

"Hang on, I think I got one mo' left in me, one minute." Mushu cleared his throat with a cough.

"Take your time." Base had found a safe spot to recooperate. However, t
he remaining demon chose that instance to go for Karina and Stratos. "On second thought, some firepower now would be a great idea."

"Hang on, man, I got a bug in my throat."

    "Mushu!"

Mushu coughed and hacked. It ended in a bug shooting out of his throat.

"Crickee?! How'd you get in there? You coulda died!" Mushu said as Crickee the Cricket shook himself off. "Come to think of it, I was already usin' my- hey, how'd you not di-?"

"Mushu! Wrap it up, or they're dead! Get back!" Base had to jump in with a Guard. He struggled to keep the demon at bay, because no direct hit would be useful against it. "Now or never!" More desperate than ever to win, the demon was stronger than it had been before. Base couldn't hold it off for long. He gritted his teeth.

"Hey, listen, I gotchoo, I gotchoo. One fireball, comin' up. Hold my Cricket," Mushu finished before releasing a powerful, finishing flame on the demon. All that remained were ashes that were caught on and were drifted off by the wind. "See? Now that was worth the wait, huh?" Mushu relaxed, fading out in a swirl of gray smoke.

Crickee jumped from the palm of Base's hand and into the formed gray cloud, just as it started to blow away. It faded into mist, leaving no trace of either Mushu or Crickee. The Summon had reach the end of its term. Base remained silent for a moment.

"Is she hurt? Is everyone okay?" Base knelt close down to Karina, and cast a good dosage of
Cura. over her. Hopefully, that would at least wake her back up. The Cura spell spread, and affected Stratos as well. "Fast work out there. Glad to have you on the team." Base smiled and offered his hand to Stratos with a grin. He was going to stop being jealous. Instead, he was going to work just as hard, and let Stratos serve as a great example on how to be a Keyblade Warrior.

Brute force was behind D'daear's arm as he had grabbed a hammer frame by the small head that was a top the hammer body. Lifting it off the ground, he had spun around while dragging it around in order to then throw the creature towards a group of approaching hammer frames. As soon as that had been done, he went back to the defensive. Dodging right, jumping back to avoid a near hit, blocking, and parrying for the counter attack. At one point D'daear thought he was playing a game of dodge hammers. Seriously, they were just throwing themselves one after the other; each miss causing the earth beneath him to quake slightly. When he found a small opening, you can bet your munny he took it. With a nice punch off the keyblades guard, a hammer frame was sent flying towards a pile of plywood that had been neatly placed in stacks; it was a stack no more after that though. retreating right foot behind left; stance shoulder width apart, he grabbed another hammer frame; who had been brave enough to get this close, and bashed it in the small head with the hilt. It was followed up with a nice downward diagonal slash as he brought his right foot forward.

Irises looked onward to see the hammer frames becoming a bit more coordinated now that their numbers had begun to diminish once again. They began to dash at D'daear in a V line, almost like ninjas with their arms dangling at the back. Focused, D'daear held his position while placing the keyblades fuller onto his shoulder. Right arm tensed once again as he channeled that same feeling he had back at the start of this second wave. He was going to try to use that projectile attack in order to take this V line down. Waiting for the opportune moment, it arrived when the leader had reached 3 yards (roughly 9 feet) of D'daear. Quickly taking right back behind left leg once again, he took the foot forward while bringing the keyblade down onto the ground with everything he had. A small geyser of light projected out of the keyblades tip, and extended toward six hammer frames out of the ten that were in that V line. The six heartless at the front were eradicated, leaving behind only the four that were still charging at him.
