Krowley made his way around slashing at a cylinder of each engine, being followed closely by Tantor and Tarzan.
Together they took out 7 cylinders from 3 of the engines.

"Doesn't look like it plans on stopping," he replied.
Following Noroz's example, he slid along and slashed the same engines destroying the 4 of them.
"That should buy us some time." He said returning back to where Noroz was hovering.
Though the engines were destroyed, the boat didn't look like it was slowing down, it almost seemed like it was going faster.
Gliding over to see how it could be moving still, he saw the Guardians pushing and using their propellers to push the wind back.
"Running off Heartless power... That's a new one..."

Aden looked up at the large castle dominating the landscape of the Land of Departure with fascination. The familiarity of mountainous landscape was comforting, but nothing at Lofty Heights had ever been this big or fancy or...frankly, imposing.

He approached the large double doors to the castle warily. The world thus far had been eerily empty; he hadn't seen another living soul yet. If the message he had heard had gone to all worlds, why was he the only one there?

Relax, he told himself. Everyone else is probably inside the castle. That would make sense, right?

Aden took a deep breath and pushed the doors open. "...Hello?" he called into the spacious entry hall. Looking around, he finally saw a white-robed man with dark hair pulled back into a ponytail of sorts. "Excuse me...are you Master Eraqus?"

 

He approached the brown haired youth, replying; "Yes...Thank you for answering the letter."
Eraqus was thrilled with the amount of people who volunteered their services.
"I would love to tell you more, but I'm afraid I have to meet an old friend."
He seemed to be in a hurry but assisted the best he could.
"Here is the book that will tell you all you need to know."
He motioned towards the open book in the center of the room.
"In my absence, regard that Master Yen Sid is in charge until I've returned," he hastily added.
Before walking away he hesitated and turned back, "The others have gone to a nearby world."
Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a small glowing shape.
"This is a Star Shard. I programmed it to send you to the Deep Jungle world to meet up with the others, It can only be used once, so you will have to glide back on your own. Best of luck." Seeming off edge, he rushed out the castle doors leaving Aden without a word of Reply.

The book is enchanted and will chronicle the adventures of all who have entered the castle. (check the first post for past events)

Aden blinked at the curt introduction. As Master Eraqus closed the door behind him, he muttered, "...Well, thanks..."

He picked up the book from its dais and quickly skimmed through its pages. To his surprise, print was appearing on the pages as he read! He tried reading as the book wrote for a moment, but gave up and pulled the Star Shard out of his pocket.

"So..." he wondered aloud, looking at the Shard from different angles. "How does this thing--"

Aden gave a start as he realized that wait a minute, this wasn't the Land of Departure! He had been in front of the book's dais, looking at the Star Shard, then there was a light, and...

He raised his hand. Yep, he was still holding the Shard, but it wasn't glowing as it had been before. So, this must be Deep Jungle, then. He looked around and noticed he was standing on a beach. This was new; there weren't many of those in Lofty Heights.

Wait...what were those noises?

Aden turned around slowly and his eyes bugged out. There was a giant...ship of some sort heading to shore, but...oh, great, it was filled with Heartless!



He instinctively summoned his Keyblade and tossed it in the air, not really knowing why, until it came flying back to him in the form of a Glider. "Whoa."

Aden scrambled to climb on the Glider--not entirely sure of how exactly it worked, but what the hey? It couldn't be too hard, right?

He grasped what looked like the throttle and OHMYGOSHI'MGONNADIE rocketed forward, haphazardly ramming through a couple of Security Robots and into a massive cannon on the Heartless ship.

 

Seeing another newcomer approach he swerved around, cutting 4 tentacle roots, cutting 2 of them down.
Making his way passed the destroyed robots, he found his way near Aden.
"Not the best time for explanation, but umm... Welcome, I suppose." before continuing on he hesitated and added; "Nice glider."

"Um...thanks..." Aden replied, dazed. He managed to back out from the ship and, unsure of what else to do with the glider, rammed it through three more Surveillance Robots and an Air Soldier. "Ow..."
