"We work at your pace, Miss Belle." Base bowed in response. "Certain as the sun rising in the East." He looked around to his allies. "Should we all walk together, or treat this like a caravan? I think Steel would be best for the lead; he tends to have the highest sensitivity to surroundings, and we'll all want to see if he senses something. D'daear, you're still a still a little wet behind the ears; stick close to someone and you're support will make a world of difference. That's really all I can think of. I'm ready to go."

 

Kaida walked around the festival with almost a child-like curiosity for everything in it. She saw people dancing, she saw food everywhere, heck she even saw a shop where she could go in and get better clothes than the brown robe, and heck maybe use them again at some point. She turned around quickly to the other three and spoke, "I found a shop!" she then covered her mouth realizing she shouted and then she replied, "And there's fooood." she smiled gleefully and saw a man handing out free samples of some sort of food and she took it and smiled, thanking him gratefully and started to eat.

 

"Normally I'd agree, but if she can't understand rules as simple as ours, then she might as well be an NPC waiting for someone to hit confirm." Kel stated, now leaning on the makeshift staff he'd forged. Hopefully this wouldn't take much longer, otherwise he'd go right back to laying on the grass and this time actually take a nap instead of resting his eyes like he did last time.

 

Kross threw his hands behind his head in a carefree manner and looked at them."I didn't say you couldn't have fun you know."He said with a light pout. He walked alongside Vincent, they were making good time but they needed to be ready for anything, he could watch his ally's backs but he didn't want them hurt. He kept at a relaxed pace, keeping his ears open for anything that dared to cross the group. He felt the anger come off of Karina and he frowned, what did he do now? He was just telling them to be careful, that was all.

 

Glen followed behind Kaida. He wasn't particularly familiar with the layout of the world, and he was pretty sure Kaida didn't belong there either, but he figured if something happened and they got caught, it'd be best if the party was together, so that they could try and do something to save their skins if the need arose. He casually leaned forward and took a free sample from the man, giving a nod to show his acknowledgement and thanks, before curiousity got the better of him. "So, uh, what's the big deal with this celebration?" he asked, attempting to get straight to the point. He saw no guards out of the corner of his eye, so he figured it wasn't too bad of an idea to try and find out more about the celebration while he could.​

 

The castle was close by. They could see the afterimage it was producing. The mist surrounding the area was beginning to grow lighter too. Finally they could meet Belle and warn the Prince of Gaston. He as well began to increase his pace to try and get there as soon as possible.

 

Cat walked with the group right into the festival, pulling her collar up to try and hide her face. She glanced around and smiled at the festivities. Every banner and poster had a big yellow sun in the middle, and there were plenty of chalk drawings scattered around the walkways. Kaida ran over to a man who looked like he was handing out samples and decided to follow, partly because she didn't want to split up and partly because she needed some food herself. She took one and thanked the kind man, and as she was chewing she heard Glen ask about the festival. The guy looked them over suspiciously and she swallowed quickly to step in. "What he means is that we're not from this kingdom. Actually, this is our first time visiting. It's lovely, and if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you mind telling us what's being celebrated?"

 

Eon sighed at the site of Steel. He was out there, but a friend nonetheless. "Good to see you Steel." He announced. Next was the Karina vs Luna issue. Eon rushed between them to ask as a wall. "Karina, now is not the time. I don't know what grudge you hold against her, but right now we have more important matters at hand."

He looked over to Base, Steel, Luna, and Krowley. "We have a problem. Gaston is coming this way to kill the prince. We need to get into the castle and tell him. We're also looking for Maurice's daughter who we think is inside there." He told them. Hopefully things could get simple now that there was more people. Gaston's odds were looking bleaker.

 

"Who is Gaston, and where do you rank him as a threat?" Base recognized Eon merely as an ally. He'd never known the younger man very well. All Base knew was that this information was useful. If they could circumvent an attack before it happened, then perhaps a travesty could be avoided. But...there was still the problem at hand as well for his group.

"Belle's father is in terrible danger. Oh... this is Belle." Base bowed and indicated the young woman accompanying them in the woods. "We were just setting out to rescue him." He paused. "This is a rather sticky situation..." And Base pondered.

 

D'daear nodded like a good newb at Base's instruction. "gotcha." was all he replied with, making his way to the center of the group near Belle. He took one last look at beast's form before turning back to his task. Being as everyone was ready; more or less, they made their way through the castle doors, and then gates. Just as they were already a few yards off the castle, they encountered another group. None of them looked familiar, at all. What's more, among all of them, there was a tall black haired individual that looked off. He couldn't help but feel like the man resembled Steel in vibe. "Steel! Do you know any of them?" he whispered rather loudly, enough of a whisper to only be heard among the group escorting Belle. Just then, the other group approached. By the way some of the members were acting, it seemed they've already been well acquainted with one another. That's when it hit him. "These must be the other Keyblade wielders I never had a chance to know." he thought, remembering Base's word back at the Land of departure. Someone spoke to them, giving information in regards to the Prince's safety, and Belle's father.

"The Prince? You mean Beast?" he spoke up, having completely forgotten about the formalities of introduction. What? Someone's life was at stake.

 

Eon looked at Base in confusion. Maurice wasn't in danger? They were just with him. "We were just with Belle's father. He's at his home now. What exactly could be trying to attack him? And what do you mean Bea- ugh oh." Well now everything was beginning to make sense. That's why Maurice was screaming beast and why Gaston was coming in this direction.

"Gaston has an odd aura about him. He's being possessed by Heartless or something. He said he is coming to kill the beast... which means the prince." He explained. There was a lot of information to take in and give out. They were keyblade wielders so the information was going into a just place.

 

Steel nodded at Base' instruction, and opened the door. As he led the party out of the castle, they soon came upon the other Party on the road just leaving the castle courtyard. As they approached, his gaze fell upon the "Vampire" mentioned earlier. His eyes briefly widened, but he quickly wiped the look off of his face. "Vince..." He thought to himself. The man didn't seem to recognize him, so he could safely assume this man was from a different placement in time than the friend he knew. As the group drew even nearer, D'daear asked if he knew anyone in the group, but he remained silent. The events that followed could quickly be summarized as following: Karina quickly made attempts to pick a fight, as per her nature; Eon gave a sigh and greeting that said: "I hate you, but tolerate you because you're on our side. Be grateful worm." and the entire group continued to make various obvious conclusions as though they actually required 10 seconds of thought.

"My Allies." He thought in a joyously sarcastic tone.

"Perhaps our time would be better spent forming a plan." He said aloud.

We'll need to warn his highness, as Gaston -does- indeed pose a threat. We should consider seeing what we can do about checking up on Maurice, as it's better than leaving things to Fate." He sneered in contempt at the thought, though, as always it was hidden by his scarf. He continued. "Lastly, Gaston will be coming after Belle, and who knows the size of the mob he's bringing." He hoped no one would notice that he wasn't supposed to know that. If they did he'd come up with a lame yet logical excuse. "So we'll need to protect her."

 

"Hey they isn't f-" Ananta tried to say before she saw Mim zooming right towards her. "OH GOD NO!" she screamed as she felt Mim land a hit on her. Having fallen to the ground, Ananta coughed up some dirt that she breathed in. Standing up, she dusted herself off and glared at the witch. "I hate witches..." she mumbled. Holding her sharp stick, Ananta thought of what to do first. Gripping the stick, she decided to do something that may or may not cause the stick to burn in her hand. Pointing her stick at Mim, she spoke "Fire!" and shot off a fire ball towards Mim. "Okay Kel, your turn is next! Do it like we planned!" she called to her lazy teammate.

 

Somehow Mim cheating with her rules was expected, but least she was still in a human form. If she'd turned into a dragon they would be screwed. As the witch flew over him, Kel brought up his staff/stick in a defensive position over his head. While it block some of her attack, not enough to prevent and damage. "So that's how it's going to be." Spinning the staff above his head, Kel stabbed it into the ground and shouted "Gravity!" Bringing the witch down to their level. "Alright, next."

 

Ooc: The attendance event finally got to me...

Stratos had no choice but to sit there and take note of the battle. Sure all of this would probably be said after Beuce did what he was going to do, but time was of the essence, and god as his witness Stratos was not going to miss another opportunity. He knew just what the plan was for when it came time for him to attack Madame Mim. In fact, everyone knew what the plan was, despite not really discussing a plan at all. In fact, all they had done so far was really talk about magic theory and what everyone was capable of. Nevertheless, Stratos got himself into position to do what he was meant to do. Getting ready for a sprint, seeing as he wasn't the fastest fellow around, he was going to prep his spell and lay waste to the madame.

 

Considering Kaida felt no need to sit around and wait for the answer, she ran into one of the shops that had clothes and looked around for something. After a decent amount of browsing she went along with a dress. She wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that since she wasn't really a dress person but there's a first time for everything.

Kaida bought the dress, put it on, and then left to see that Cat and Glen didn't seem to have made any progress anyway. She walked up to the stand where the man was giving out the free samples and she bought a more substantial meal.

 

Hearing Karina's comment, the red-eyed girl chuckled to herself. She whispered to herself quietly so no one would hear. "Now this is starting be fun." The girl closes her eyes as she saw Luna with chains on both arms. "People are already starting to question me....oh whatever shall I do?" The girl smirked as Luna struggled to be free. "They'll kick your ass for doing this!" Luna yelled at the girl in front of her. "Oh really? I don't see anybody doing anything about it. They're trying to prevent this Gaston dude from to the castle while escorting Belle back to her home safely." Luna glared at the girl as struggled once more. "Can at least know your name!? You won't be in control for long!" The girl sighed as she grinned. "Alright! Fine!........my name is Mira and that's all your getting out of me!" Luna grinned at Mira as she closed her eyes. "You have about a good solid 5 minutes left 'til I'm back in control!" Mira sighed as turned away from Luna. "Yeah yeah! I got it!" With that, she opened her eyes and saw both groups discussing their course of action to take. Mira turned toward Karina and spoke disguising it as Luna's voice. "If you want to settle this and put an end to this grudge, be my guest, but I can't tell what's gonna happen if you do. It's your choice, you know." Mira smirked as she felt the control over Luna's body leave her slowly.
