and as above stated it messes up font the matrix one's work fine for removing
I wonder if I put the the event back if maybe fix the problem with fonts :0

added a test elf for some with real PS2

This restores wide for EVT font fix and black border fix and is bookable with OPL can now read all text at least for beginning of game hopeful this fix works with Swap magic as well

 

Tried and nope. I have the same problem.

 

Not sure but you may be right about patcher with your OS

FYI if you try the easiest setting you will notice you do not start with the bonus stuff something on the new game is broken for hardness levels

I just started of official elf an new ISO on the emu it has same problem on easy you do not get the extra stuff and have no equipped stuff something in the elf has been broken for new game emu will get threw the lockup but PS2 will not

So a fresh elf with lang hacks should be upped and even my elf has the problem because it is based on the one most recent

also the equipment is normal to hard nothing equipped

I just registered an account to report a few bugs I found (I apologise if they've already been posted)

1) The conversations during the Gummi rides are still garbled

2) In Traverse Town in the Accessory Shop, before getting the Green Trinity, before you can unlock the Synthesis shop, there's a Moogle floating around in the Accessory Shop. When you select it the speech bubble only appears for a second then disappears.

3) In Traverse Town, in the house in District Three, when you return and speak to the characters, Aerith tells you something in a short cutscene-esque dialogue. Whatever she says, it's garbled (the screenshot).

4) Most of the item names in the chests are still untranslated (minor problem though)

5) The item descriptions in the shops are untranslated (this is a problem especially for the weapons and accessories)

6) Critical problem: the Oogie Boogie fight is bugged. After defeating the two gargoyle things, and after you fall into the roulette, the fight just... stops. Oogie Boogie is running from left to right and can't be damaged even with magic (Fira and Gravity at least). The fight can't be finished.

EDIT: The Ursula fight is also bugged, you can't lock on to the cauldron after the first time.

7) Some of the voiced cutscenes are untranslated (minor issue, since they're in english anyway)

EDIT: 8) In Traverse Town, the entrance to the Moogle Shops appears as < currently closed off > even after its unlocked.

EDIT 3: 9) Very minor: In Neverland, after Sora seals the Keyhole, if you talk to Wendy she says "Peter remains with me", followed by a blank speech bubble.

Hey guys we figure it out . We belive the issue is the widescreen hack were totaly not sure yet but i have an old ELF that works on my PS2 just fine . IF anyone wants the patch that will work on PS2. Let me know and i will make the patch for ya

You guys want the patch with the button swap mode O is back and X is to Attack? and for the patch you want an complete patch or Incomplete version (talking to anyone here)

 

I would like complete elf without wide and only English hacks in place that give the proper new game start without lockup

 

Well, I really prefer O as attack and X as jump, no swap. And I prefer an incomplete version only IF the complete patch takes too long for you to make it, how long would it take Sora6645? Because if it's too complicated I rather prefer to be playing the incomplete and then when you finish the complete one for RandQalan I will get it too, sorry if I kinda sound cheeky. But you know what? You're the best man!

 

it wont take me an while and we figure out what couses the crash we think it may be DH world.... so idk whats up ^^

 

I personally would prefer the X and O swap just because I'm used to it but KH2FM is the same as this currently is even though the tutorials show the english controls and I've been having trouble getting used to it but if it's too unpopular or too hard I don't mind playing with the X and O the way they are.

Hey Sora6645,if you meant the dh.ard files I removed them from my folder, and patched the KHFM iso file again and tested on my PS2 OPL9.2 and... no luck, same problem.

 

work very well just use you backup unmodded original ISO and insert SLPS_251.98, Kanji.knj, menu/Btltbl.bin and make a test.

EDIT: the problem are *.ards when used

use an oringal Japanese iso. Also Guys sorry for not getting this sonner . I started College and i been really busy
