Johanna wasn't one to complain, but she hadn't slept very well last night. It was not because of her Guild Mates, not her room, but because of the constant cold that seemed to lurk around her. It was this time of year when she was very easily frightened, and more or less scared of everything around her. Today she wore a a black Russian cap, with a gold tunic and an olive green jacket with black pants and brown boots. It was much different from her beautiful dress last night, but not every day was a ball. She sat at the one of the tables, making a list of things she had to clean when they got back from the Job. She hoped someone would come to her aid soon.

Mikasa sneered. The Guild Hall was much like yesterday, but now with most of the light from the lanterns gone the only light that came through was the from the giant skylight. She had posted herself at the bar, as she normally did, waiting for her fellow Guild Members to appear and beg her to take them with her. Mikasa wasn't in the mood for such folly, not with a job request such as this one.

The night passed fairly peacefully for Caliborn. Once everyone had retired to their rooms and went to bed, he fell asleep quickly. Sleep was easy to come for him. It had never been a problem really, waiting for sleep. After his peaceful night, he went out early as he always did and had a fairly weighty breakfast. Bacon, sausage and poached egg. A solid meal for the day's work to come. A message came through from an old friend. He wanted a hand with something at home, and it sounded complex enough for guild work, though not so much that it would be complex. Curses weren't usually too hard to deal with. He should at least show the new guys how it was done though. They weren't actually expected to know this already, so, they may as well learn. Caliborn positioned himself at one of the centre tables. That would make it quite easy for people to find him.

Dale was out before the rest of the room. Great. Evanora had a note for him on the board. He was taking the kids to school. He chuckled wryly at that. Well, this was going to be an interesting one. Schools didn't usually need help. What was wrong, ghost haunting the school toilet? Children always seemed to believe their school was haunted, but he got the feeling that in this case, it probably wasn't just a couple of silly children and a paranoid teacher. Well, he'd be in his usual spot at the table farthest from everyone else. If people wanted to get paid they could damn well come to him.

It was Clear after a hour that Evanora was not going to answer him what a shame she seemed so nice to bad she blowed him off. he made his way to the guild hall and found a dark corner to sit in. He never feal asleep. Hours pasted and no one even bothered to look for him. well he knew his passion in the guild now. The job thing showed up and he signed up. He then went back to his corner. It became morning and still no one found him maybe this was the life he had to live the life of one who was cursed. He saw people enter the hall but none found him times like this he found it that there was no easy way to lift the cure that was put on him years ago. He felt so alone. He just stayed in his dark corner he was in. He felt so sad, so alone.

Silvia had not slept the greatest the night before, she generally didn't in a new environment. She refused to toss and turn to get comfortable scared that the noise might wake someone up and piss them off. When morning came it was a relief. Silvia hauled herself out of bed and got ready in a quick amount of time. She chose to skip breakfast, instead going straight to the job board to see what sort of things she might be able to help with. The first one that caught her eye was one about a child. Something about a curse. Silvia felt like the job out of all of them up on the board was closest to what she wanted to do. She wanted to help heal people and fixing a curse was pretty close right?

Soon enough Silvia found herself walking towards the man who posted the listing Caliborn. She didn't quite know what to say but she would try
"Excuse me Mr. Caliborn sir..." Silvia started off more nervous then she should be. "Um... I saw that job on the board, the one about the child. I would like to help. I mean if that is okay with you. I mean if it is not I will find something else it is no big deal, I just though it was a good place for a support like me to go and..." Silvia stopped herself as she started to blush realizing her rambling. "Sorry..." She murmured.

"Awesome!" Thomas yelled out seeing the jobs on the board geared towards people of their level in the guild. He didn't so much look at the descriptions of the jobs as so much look at the names of who was leading. His eyes drifted to the one lead by Mikasa, perhaps some of her dorm mates would go on that one with her. Oh how he hoped they would. For this reason and this reason alone Thomas decided to go on her mission. He ran over to where Mikasa was. "I am going with you!" He blurted out. "I will behave I promise. I want to go on your mission." Thomas said straight to her. He wasn't really looking at her but it was clear he was talking to her and didn't fear her at this point in time.

Mizuki examined the jobs board, looking over what the missions were and who was leading him. Preferably she would be able to go on the same one her target was going on, an opportunity to kill him might present itself, but she was also aware that killing him right off the bat might draw unwanted attention to herself. She had to be careful here, and choose her moment to strike with discretion. Until such a time as she could complete her mission, she would have to mix in with the other guild members, become one of them. Mizuki didn't really know how to do that.
She also didn't know what mission to go on. None of them particularly stood out to her; if she could have avoided going on them altogether she would have, but that was obviously out of the question. She noticed that Mikasa, her roommate, was leading one of the missions. As good a reason to choose that job as any. She at least knew Mikasa's name, and the woman had seemed pretty competent. Someone to watch out for, when things reached a climax, Mizuki noted to herself.

Mizuki found Mikasa at the bar, apparently waiting for whoever was going on this mission with her. One other had already arrived, the young man Mizuki had spotted last night sprinting through the halls. She ignored him, and presented herself to Mikasa.

"Mizuki. For the Labyrinth," she stated. No more needed to be said, in her opinion. Her meaning would be clear to anyone reasonably intelligent.

Ren splashed his face with water, trying to wash the drowsiness from his eyes. He hadn't slept well last night. In fact, he hadn't really slept at all. He usually didn't. He looked in the mirror to see if the water had improved anything. Not really, if he was honest. He tried a smile, and then a grin. Much better. Nobody would know anything was up if he kept a smile on. They never did.
Breakfast was a quick meal of a freshly baked roll with a smothering of butter on it. Perhaps not quite enough to keep him going till lunch, but he wasn't feeling up to something more substantial. He would cope.
His mission today was with Johanna. A friendly woman, as he had seen last night, but she also had an edge to her if her actions against Dale the same night were anything to go by. But, Ren wasn't going to go out of his way to annoy her, so he was sure they'd get along just fine.

"Hello, Johanna," he greeted her with a smile as he approached her. "You look like you're cold," he mentioned, referring to her clothes. "Not that I blame you, there's a bit of a breeze blowing through here. Must be the high ceilings. But enough small talk," he continued, moving on. "I'm here to join that mission you're leading, if you'll have me. Something about the Cathedral, right?"

Having no sleep and just not happy about the guild in general. He got up and thought about eating well he went a day with out what was one more.
    He made his way to
Johanna. He saw the mystery man from last night and Johnanna talking well this was a new development she was actually helping someone.
Well there was a first time for everything. What kind of person does not answer there door when someone knocks.
Anyone looking at the man known as Ander would see him as person with sadness. Almost like the happiness from yesterday was sucked out of him and all that was left was sadness. It was almost like he was a different person. He just stood by without saying anything.
the guild was not what he thought it would be.
He thought this guild was all about helping people, but all he seen so far was fighting between members and ignoring members questions.
The only decant person he meant so far was a man that he did not even know there name.

The night had gone by pretty quickly for Veilen after he'd returned to his room the past night. His eyes opened and scanned around the room and form what he could tell, he was the second person to wake up. Well there was no point in lying in bed all day, so he got up and went about his morning routine and headed downstairs to the guild hall. It was there that he saw what clearly looked to be posting for jobs on the bulletin board. Now was the time to show what he could do that didn't involve fighting in the guild itself.

Veilen then proceeded to skim over the jobs posted before he found the one that he wanted to do. The flyer said to talk to Mikasa, who was standing at the bar and that was where he went to next.
"Yo Mikasa, I'd like to sign up for the Magical Labyrinth. It's Veilen by the way." He wasn't quite sure just how many people knew he name, but whoever he would be working with would find out soon enough. Speaking of which, form what he could tell two people had signed up before he did, one of which was in the brawl from yesterday. "Good to see that your not too beat up from yesterday." He said to Thomas.

The night had ended swiftly and with it, a new day had come to pass. With it, Charlotte had awakened from her slumber, seemingly be the last one to leave her room. As she did, she noticed that there was some sort of clamor going on. Trying to find out what the source was, she realized that jobs had been posted for the new guild members to go on. Well, this was quite well and good. Going over to the job list, she decided to skim over the list to see just which job would suit the young guardian. While there were a few that seemed to be good, there was just something about the Mysterious Labyrinth that seemed to draw her in in particular. Noting that the mission was headed by Mikasa, she walked over to the group to see that quite crowd had already gathered. There was the lech, Veilen, and somebody who she didn't recognize in the slightest from yesterday, though, that might have been due to her focus being shifted elsewhere. Charlotte looked to Mikasa and said, "Charlotte Vormund signing up for the mission, Ms. Mikasa."

Lucia had had quite the terrible time trying to get to sleep yesterday. After that incident with Beucette, she felt the need to sleep with one eye open. Lucia wasn't quite a fan of perverts in general, and when there was one who was literally being quite that, especially towards her...well she just sort of lost it when that happens. However, with no further incident happening, she was able to relax a tad. Now, though, there were missions to be done. And as such, she had to sign up for one. Deciding to go out and think that helping a school would be a nice gesture, she walked over to Dale and saluted him saying,
    "ready for briefing sir!"

Alessia rubbed her eyes groggily and yawned as she came to, finally awakening from her peaceful sleep. Amazingly, she had fitted in just fine around here and was able to sleep just fine. Sometimes she felt uneasy about sleeping in new places, but she was comfortable here. Maybe it was because she had such nice room mates. Johanna and Carmen were really nice. Scarlett was, well... Scarlett. Maybe she'd be alright in the end too, but still. What she said about the guild yesterday was unacceptable and she would get an apology for it some time. How couldn't you like the people here? Sure some of them were bigheaded at times, but they were nice. Mostly. Bar one maybe. What was that guy's problem? Pulling two ice blades on a new person? That was just wrong. Maybe the masked guy had asked for it but still... Something was weird with that situation. Why had it got so heated?

After quickly changing into her usual outfit of a simple dark grey shirt with a matching skirt, knee high socks and her reliable old pair of grey travelling boots, she messed with her hair quickly, pushing it into its normal position. Then, she went to get some breakfast. A bowl of cereal later, she too was at the job board clamouring to get work. Apparently those crazies that had the fight were all going on a mission to the labyrinth, which was the one that interested her the most. She shrugged. The Cathedral looked good, and it was being run by Johanna, so that was a plus. She'd like to get to know her better. She was so nice and friendly. So that's what she did. Alessia turned around and eventually managed to pick Johanna out of the crowd and made her way through the throng of guild members to reach her.

"Good morning Johanna." She said, smiling. "I'll be with you on this mission."

Johanna smiled. "I'm so happy you're all here!" said, moving the auburn hair out of her eyes. "Alright, I know this is your first mission and all, so I hope you're all excited!" She said. "We're going to be headed to the Evtheven Cathedral." She explained. "I'm friends with the local Pastor there, and he needs us to..." Johanna trailed off. She wasn't very good at this. She looked away. "Well, the important thing is he needs our help!" Johanna exclaimed. "When you're all ready to go, let me know ok?" She tried to smile. You could tell she was hiding something from them. She put on her hat, and waited outside.

Johanna was hiding something about the mission. Just typical of her to pretend she was helpful but to hide information that may help them keep themselves alive.
He guessed he would have to keep them alive. He wondered if he could do that this time.
    He seemed so sad lately.
Is this What I want from this? He failed at helping people before could he do it help this time or was he just meant to suffer?
Then he herd a voce in his head from his master.
"Ander you can do better then this."
The voice was gone as fast as it came.
He looked around at the members not sure if he should press Johanna on the mission. After all it might keep them alive preparation was a key.

Johanna took a horse and carriage to the Cathedral with her Guild Members. She eyed them all. Would they even be able to help? She wondered to herself. The Pastor had asked them to do a task which could have been impossible for all she knew. How would magic be able to help here? She wished Cassandra had at least came along.

The Cathedral was a large white building, one spire rising high into the sky topped with the sign of the cross. The roof beneath it was steep and slated in blue. At the base of the spire was a room with a single, large arched window facing the front of the building. Two short peaks that reached the steep blue roof adorned the exterior of the spire. From there, the building widened out from its central point. Below the window were three statues, standing on their separate plinths. In the center was Mary, then on the left and right of her were Rapael and Gabriel, Raphael blowing a trumpet and Gabriel holding a book in his right hand. Beneath them, a golden cross stood above the door that led in. Beside the statues on either side, two large arched windows stood and above each of those, a further one. On the level of the door, three different smaller arched windows extended across the face of the Cathedral. Above the door a triangular roof protected the doorway from the elements, like the spire it too had blue slates except in the center of the overhang, in which slates of blue, cyan, pink and purple made a pattern. Or perhaps it was how the light reflected off them that gave them the appearance of multiple colours, but it made a beautiful sight all the same.

Off to the side of the main front, it could be observed that the Cathedral extended out to the right with a blue slated roof. The Cathedral grounds were lush and green, with bright trees giving the area a spot of natural beauty to complement the simple, yet elegant Cathedral itself.

Johanna heard the laughter of many children, for on the beautiful grounds was a playground for the kids. "Father runs a daycare here for Expats that are visiting from nations far from Fiore." Johanna told them. "The other children here are either orphans or are waiting to be placed in foster care." She told them. Seeing the children play filled her heart with joy.

Alessia wasn't a good tell for people, but even she could tell that Johanna was hiding something. That fact kind of stung, considering they had got on so well. Hopefully it wasn't anything too important, or she would tell them later. On the ride there, that occupied much of her mind while she looked at the scenery. What could it be? A Cathedral needing help with... something. That was vague at best. There probably weren't any monsters there otherwise Johanna would have said so. No reason to hide that right? So, maybe it was something more complicated. A haunting? But why wouldn't she say that? It had to be something else, but she had no idea.

This was all nicely out of her mind when she arrived. She was quite struck by the building. It was simple, but a refined design and the grounds, they were just beautiful. The rolling greens and the trees made it look nice and friendly. What could ever go wrong here? As they approached, something else caught her eye. There were children! She had always loved children. They were cute and she missed playing around when she was younger. They looked like they were having fun, running around and playing their games, getting grass stains all over their clothes like kids did. That was just the way they were. She smiled, almost beaming and waved enthusiastically and the young ones as they went about their playing.

"Hello!" Alessia called, waving her arm energetically. This place was so nice! She was glad she came. Johanna went on to explain why the children was there. That was nice of the Father to do that for them. It was nice that those kids were being looked after somewhere. They'd need to have somewhere to be. "That's really nice of the Father to do that. This is a wonderful place." So what's going on here that they need help with? Her pulse rate picked up as a motherly protective instinct came over her. The children! They might be in danger! No wonder they needed our help. The question of what was happening returned to her mind as she smiled and waved. She had to figure it out. They had to. For them. They didn't deserve to be put in danger from some threat, but what could it possibly be?

    Ander's pov:
He looked around at the children his sadness seemed to disappear almost at once. He smile and laughter brought him to a time were he was younger were he was care free. That time was so long ago. "As long as they are safe that all that madders. It sad that the children have to wate here for someone. At lest they get a better chance at life."
Ander's sadness returned. He wondered if he could take all of the children back to the guild. How could he help so many? He would have to even if he had to cross the guild to do it.
Which brought a question to his mind. why were they here? "The children seem so happy. As nice as this place is how could anyone do something to a child, to children, to anyone? It is sad. Why are we here? what do we have to do?'" Ander was really upset by this injustice. The other people could probably tell. "The children safety is the top priority here."

"Wooooow!" The children went right over to Alessia. "Johanna!" They all shouted. "Johanna we misssssssssed you." They told her. "Are you guys are wizards? That's so cool! Are these your friends Johanna? Why don't you come visit anymore? Play with us play with us!" They circled the group, asking them about spells and if they'd play with them.

"Now now kids. Settle down." The Pastor had come out of the church. "Johanna is it lovely to see you my dear."

"Now now guys I'll be sure to see you all later." She laughed. "Like wise Father." Johanna took off her black Russian Cap, as a sign of respect. "I haven't been here in a while." She said, feeling the church's walls. She hugged herself, before looking at the others. "Before I came to Sapphire Eclipse, I was an orphan here at the church." She told them, tucking her Auburn hair behind her ear. "I visit every now and then to help out, since Father was the one who had told Evanora about me." Johanna explained. It was true. She didn't like to mention she had no family. She spoke even sweeter around the children. It filled her with joy and happiness, the whole place seemed to glow. "While Father briefs us about why we're here, I'm going to need some of you to look after the kids, are there any takers?" Johanna asked.

"I'm sorry guys, but I'm going to talk to the Father. I'll come out and play as soon as I can though, okay?" She promised. First things first though, she had to find out what was going on here. The children were so nice, and friendly. She felt really bad about not playing with them. She wanted to. But she had to keep them safe. And for that, she needed to find out what was going on. She had a feeling someone else was going to. The way Ander was talking, he was bound to, just so he could take care of them. She decided that she liked him. If they had a moment spare, she'd talk to him. He seemed rather grave in a way, but never the mind. He was caring enough to be worried for the children and that was enough for her. She also considered what Johanna said. So this is where she grew up? Did Dale know that? Why was she even thinking about that? Curiosity, she supposed. She seemed to speak of him in quite a familiar way, so perhaps he'd know about all this. That wasn't her business though. That was between those two. Still, it would be nice learning in what sort of a place Johanna grew up in, despite how sad it was that she didn't really have her parents and was brought up here. It seemed a nice enough place and she turned out quite well, so it couldn't be that bad.

These children, it was interesting to see them so happy. Interesting, but Ren's face showed traces of the turmoil in his mind. They were orphans, but here they were, so joyful and carefree. A far cry from his own experience. He too had been an orphan, but this... he hadn't experienced something like this himself as a child. Things had turned out differently for him. He consciously moved on from this train of thought, anxious not to become too pensive. Right now he had to focus.
Yes, these kids looked like they would have a good life. Johanna herself had once been one of them, and she had ended up happy enough from the looks of things. The Pastor, he was a good man. From what Ren could tell, the man was doing this out of the goodness of his heart, rather than for his own gain. It was rare to find such generosity, especially to abandoned street urchins.
Ren made his way over to the Pastor, intending to learn a little more about the man. To learn more about what their mission was, foremost, but also to gauge the mans character. Ren was sure he was a good, generous man, but he couldn't quite bring himself to fully trust the man at face value. His own experience had had too much of an impact on him.

"Hello," Ren greeted the Pastor, extending his hand to shake. "My name is Ren, I'm here with Johanna and the others. I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about what we're doing here. Johanna didn't really say much about it."

"Thank you for coming." The Pastor said. They walked along a path, which seemed to have stones that told the Station of The Cross. His eyes went wide. "Johanna you didn't tell them?" He looked at her in shock. "How could you lead them here in good conscious while they knew nothing about the danger they could be in?"

Johanna sighed. "Father if I had told them what they were doing do you think they would have come?" She told him. "I'm really sorry, but I wanted to help and I knew that if I had said anything they wouldn't..." She shook her head. "I was doing it for their own good." She crossed her arms defensively.

"Now now Johanna I meant no harm." The Pastor said. "She's so headstrong, every since she was little she's been stubborn." He chuckled. His face turned serious. "Well Ren, there is no easy way too explain any of this, every so often unexpected things seem to happen at the church.” The Pastor explained. "Every week or so one of the children will be possessed by a spirit."
