The anger was still there The mouse king was going down. Dirt, he will burn. Fire appearing in her hand again. she threw it.
Sara used Blitz

 

“It’s ready!” Aidan exclaimed, after hours and hours of labor. The wand was purple, with the gem stone at the top, and the ring, which was made of the knives encircling the whole staff like a vine.

“Well, how will we know it’ll work?” Annika asked. "Wait... Breitta! It’ll break any spell. This means you too!” She exclaimed. Annika closed her eyes, and focused her energy into the staff.

“Wand of light, I wish from the bottom of my heart, to break Wenlock’s spell over my sister!”

Breitta floated into the air, shimmering sparkles surrounding her. When she appeared on the ground, she was a young woman with red hair, and light skin like her sister. Her eyes were the same icey blue. She still wore the bell the queen gave her around her neck, now like a choker. She wore a long light pink gown, with long sleeves. Her age must have been frozen in time from the spell. Annika, looked at her shocked. "Thank you... Thank you all of you!" They both hugged, bringing in the rest of the group members. And in the sky, was a beautiful rainbow.

“So… Aidan…” Annika looked at him. “Is this… goodbye?”

“I think I should-”

“I know... We'll summon you when we get back to the palace. There will be plentiful for you, and your family... We wouldn’t have this without you.”

 

Ra paused for a moment. Something Calxiyn had said caught him off guard. What did she mean that she felt for him? He would worry about that later. For the moment, he had to continue the fight. With Dale's healing, Ra was free to go on the offensive. With a swipe of his staff, a burst of wind flew forth and struck their enemy. ​

 

After Charlotte had blocked all the damage coming forth towards her teammate once more, Cal seemed to be none too pleased with her words. Throwing her own ones of superiority and quite the insult towards Charlotte, which caused her to grip her blade tighter than before. Pointing it at the girl she said, "vulgar girl, we will continue to stand no matter how many attacks you throw at us. No matter how much power you posses, you are solely alone in this fight. When we fall, we have someone to catch us and to keep ourselves standing. When you fall there is nothing but the floor behind you to break your fall. So allow us to continue in breaking this false delusion of your own power!" With that, Charlotte jumped at Cal and used blitz. Afterwards, she then went to go block for Ra.

 

Scarlett sat around the fire, not talking to anyone because she was too busy thinking of insults to throw at Wenlock when they met again.

 

"I'm stupid? I'm sorry, who was the one who fell off of a barely moving boat and hurt her ankle? Or how about falling for a guy that kidnapped her and is now trying to release something that will end the world as we know it?" Gaius shouted, striking Cal with his Blitz attack.​

"If you think this is going to stop us Cal, then you are sadly, sadly mistaken. I don't think you quite remember what you're up against, do you?" Dale said generally. The others were doing well enough with the taunting and that was just fine by him. He didn't need to irritate Cal any more. With any luck, the amount she was receiving would already be a good enough distraction. Right now, none of the others would be good enough to handle the healing they needed, that was for sure. It fell then to Dale to get the job done. It wasn't often that he had to do this. Usually he was on the offensive and either it went down so quickly that they didn't need it or someone else like Johanna handled it. When they did work together, which was rare enough. His thoughts drifted to her at that moment. What would she do here? Much the same as we're doing I expect. She wouldn't put up with this any more than we are and she would most certainly fight back. I wonder what'll happen when all this gets round. She'll probably blame me for all of this. Perhaps I deserve it to some degree, I did take them to this place. Not that I expected this of course. Cal walked herself into this situation that goes without saying and nothing will remove her of that blame, but how much of this will be pinned on me? What will become of everyone that followed? I suspect that they'll get off without blame, but I? Evanora will not be happy with me. And that's fine. When we succeed here I'll consider my decision valid and retain no blame. The consequences of not doing it far, far outweigh the risks. If I hadn't then there'd be a lot of danger. Not just for us, but the world as a whole. Who knows how long Deliora will rampage before he is defeated again?
"Get up and fight!" Dale shouted, somewhat encouragingly as he used Cura, the thought of the safety of the realm on his mind. "This is more than our own lives! This is the lives of this country, this world as a whole we fight for!"

If you were to find a way to leave the room you could attempt to sneak around the bedrooms and see what you could find yourself, if you could think of pretence. Perhaps you could beg permission to attend the servant's quarters and work from there?" Vance suggested. Just as planned, I might add. "And now we'd best go back inside." He led Zéphyrine inside.

"Apologies for my brief absence Duke Everlue. It is most unfitting and I apologise. She has been reprimanded as might be expected." Vance apologised gracefully.

 

"No need to apologize Lord Vance." He laughed, you could tell Everlue was getting a little more then drunk now. "You can't expect a G***y to act like as high as a servant. You can't expect a dirty pig to act as a radiant horse." Everlue laughed.

Ren had, for quite a while now, kept quiet and to himself. He was tired, not just physically but mentally as well, and so he took the opportunity to just ruminate over a few, inconsequential personal matters, such as what he wanted for dinner tomorrow, what his stance on the new water tax was, and where the hell all his socks could possibly be going. Someone was probably taking them in some malicious bid for revenge. Probably someone called Danny. Fuck Danny.
As riveting as the possibilities regarding Danny's heist of his socks, Ren had to come back to the present sooner or later. The staff had been forged, Aiden had taken his leave, and Peggy had lost a pair of legs or something. That wasn't what caught his attention though. What caught his attention was the massive rainbow hanging in the sky.
The most curious thing about this wondrous rainbow was that it had formed without any significant amount of water in the atmosphere. There hadn't been any rain recently, and since Ren's knowledge of meteorological phenomena was somewhat limited he didn't know what else could possibly cause this event, so he had to conclude that the rainbow was magical, or caused by magic. He tended to believe the former, because the only magical event he had seen recently was the Peggy thing, and there was absolutely no reason why the transformation of some random winged horse should cause the refraction of light through water droplets that weren't even there in the first place.

Ren stood up to get a better view of the rainbow, admiring it. “Wow, now that is a rainbow,” he commented to the others. “A mighty fine rainbow indeed. I think I'll name it. Something like Bartholomew, or Carl, or – ooh, I know, Danny! HEY, DANNY!” he called out to the rainbow, “HOW'S IT GOING? NICE WEATHER WE'RE HAVING! WAIT, ARE YOU THE DANNY THAT KEEPS STEALING MY SOCKS? YOU ASS. FUCK YOU DANNY.”
Deciding that Danny wasn't worth wasting any further breath on, Ren sat back down and turned his back on him. “My socks, they always go missing,” he explained to the rest of the group. “I'm pretty sure Danny is the one behind it.”

 

"We have to free our people first. I see no point in fighting Wenlock unless we have to." Brietta said to Thomas. Truth be told, they had to listen, she was technically Queen now. "Come on Hasu, don't worry... it's all over soon." They hoped on their Pegasus, and flew towards Town. They flew through a rocky mountain pass, and heard the sound of a Griffin.

“It’s Wenlock!” Brietta yelled.

“How did he find us!?”

“Ferris! That little s-” Before she could finish, she was shot out of the sky. The Pegasus, sisters to Brietta, forgot about their riders and rushed to her aid. They landed.

“You… you hurt my sister!” Annika yelled, her sister out cold, as Wenlock laughed and came down from his Griffin. “How dare you!” Annika yelled powerfully.

“She got in the way.” He laughed again, as if Annika were an idiot.

“You’ll pay for this!” Annika shouted, grabbing the staff. “Destroy him! Destroy Wenlock!”

Wenlock cowered in fear, but nothing happened. “Make him pay! Destroy him!” Annika begged. She looked at the wand, and then Wenlock started to laugh.

“Ohhhh no Wand of Light!” He taunted

“It worked before.” She looked at Thomas, a pleading look in her eye.

“Did you really think you could beat me? I'll turn you all to stone right here!”

"Wait! Don't hurt them!" Annika cried, falling to her knees in front of Wenlock. "You win. I’ll marry you.” Annika said.

“I knew you’d change your mind.” Wenlock laughed again. “They all want me sooner or later. But we do have a problem.” He pointed out, as he put his fingers up to Annika's chin, rising her eyes to make contact.

“What?” She grind her teeth.

“I don’t want you, after what you just pulled.” He told her, disgusted. “Destroy him! Destroy Wenlock!” He mimicked Annika. “I don’t want you. No no no no noooo." He paused, pushing Annika out of the way, and moving towards Scarlett. "I want her.”

 

"There might be only one of me, but there's only one of you, too. I could kick your ass myself with one hand tied behind my back, but I've got friends to back me up anyway. You think you're all that because of that mask Cal, but you're just the same scared, useless girl behind that, trying to hide behind an illusion of power. Abandoning your friends doesn't make you powerful, it makes you weak" Gaius declared, attempting to punch cal once more with Quick Blitz.​

Amanda's pov: "I have a thought on why the wand is not working Annika. It is called the wand of light of a reason. Your trying to hurt someone so its possible that the wand can only be used for niceness" she finshed shyly. Wenlock was going to be defeated once the battle could be started. Ren was also being strange at the moment with his sock issues. The rainbow was most likely caused by magic. The only thing wenlock would be able to to turn to stone was his brain. Wenlock was going to get locked up, or killed. She also was glad Ferris was not getting anything, because apparently he betrayed them.

Ander's pov:
The battle was close to its end to could sense it. "The mask's power was betrayed you. How could you hope to win by yourself?" He could see Cal was slowing down. "You are only one person Cal. Together we have fought. Together we will win. Together we can do anything." Cal failed what she had set out to do. Sure she might have bought Boral some time, but she did not give him enough. He did not like hurting others. This battle was nessacary. There was no talking her out of anything. He did not like hurting others, because he know what it was like. It was done to him, this was why he would stand up and fight. To defend others. He was only was one person, but that would not stop him from helping everyone. Even now he was trying to help Cal, even after all that she has done to them, to him. "Cal you got to be joking. Oh you are not. You are not the same that is true, but you are far less then what you were before." He wondered if Cal could even be helped. Was she to far gone. To far into the darkness? Could everyone be saved? Sure he could try to save Cal, but there was no saving her from the punishment she would get, that she deserved. He could see that Cal was not even trying to fight the mask. The power of the mask she was not even fighting it. Power had it strength, but natural power was were it was at. "Can you not see what this mask is doing to you? this power is your curse. This curse will be your downfall. You have brought this on yourself." Cal's search of power was misguided. Cal's power was what would bring her down not them. She took herself down and there was no stopping that. In the end Cal had the free choice of what she had done. She could have made a different one. Cal now would have to live with that choice. He then saw Ra, he would need a heal. With that he healed him.

She watched as, someone went down. A young girl by the look of it. Thea? Then the though was gone. The thought of Thea was replaced with more anger. She was Angry at the mouse king for doing what he was doing. She was mad that none of this could have been stopped. How dare the mouse king do what he was doing. He must be stopped. He would be stopped. She could hear people talking, but no idea what they were saying. All she could see was a mouse and red.
