this is very lazy of me i know i do i am sorry but i do not feel like looking for it myself in fe awakening when do parents need to have their skills in the right slots to give to their kids? before chapter 13? or whenver as long as its before you start the paralogue with the kid
you just have to have the skills equipped if i remember correctly. also in their paralogues. you can mold them how you like. start the paralogue, check status of kid, you like skills/stats? save kid. you don't? leave paralogue and come back to it later. the only one this doesnt apply to is Lucina
