Awful. I could not get into it at all. It (to me) felt like more of a love story than people being stuck in a game.

Stopped after like 6 episodes.

 

Lucky you. I finished the first season. Currently my lowest rated anime (that I've seen.)

I make it a point to not watch stuff I know will be bad, thus why most of my list is at least 7/10.

Usually I only need three episodes, though I've dropped some both sooner and later. I usually don't rate stuff until I've finished it.

I do it for myself mainly, but it helps people who share some of my tastes.

I used to rate stuff but I found myself wanting to go back and change the ratings and I could not decide if I would rate things objectively or based on my enjoyment and then be consistent about it. And, assuming we're talking about mal, I really don't like the ten scale. I'm partial to Ebert's 4.

 

I just felt that it could have done a lot more on the fact that they were stuck in a game. A love story isn't a bad thing but when it the main focus of a plot with a lot of potential...its a bummer.

 

I don't care that romance became the main plot: it was all written terribly.

 

I don't really like the romance part, as I normally don't like the romance part of most stories, but everything else(Kirito, the animation, Lisbeth, the animation, Klein, the animation and that pebble in the first episode and the animation) made up for it (for me).

 

Terrible anime protagonist.

I had "worst" originally but I'll be honest and admit I've seen worse. Still, he's terrible.
