    Maybe now I'll finally understand those little details in the series that I still have trouble with. I even found it funny that he let me borrow the Strategy Guide too.

    Great, now you can review my bosses there, too!

    Reminds me of that infamous chicken glitch in Tales Of Phantasia. Worst troll ever. xD
    As far as I know all my PSOne games still work ... but both of my PSOnes are wrecked. Half of my games are US versions so my PS3 won' t read them.
    I' ve been told CDs are meant to last 50 years tops (that is if you leave them in their box and never ever touch them).
    Ah well, I got most of them back on the PSN.

    As far as I'm aware, disc rot is not a naturally occurring thing.

    Well, if it doesn't work, it'll suck because it's his disk that doesn't work. You know, I think I had that happen to me once when I was playing Legend of Dragoon....

    Also, so far I'm annoyed at Junon minigames. I can't parade at all, and I need 140 points in the second minigame to at least get a better sword....and of course the darn thing is random every time

    Making good progress it sounds like! I had to check where you were because all I thought when I read "mini games", "random", and "better sword" was Chrono Trigger's carnival

    I never got the hang of it either, but if memory serves it' s a waste of time (none of the prizes are unique or really worth the trouble).
    Save your frustration for the golden saucer.

    5000 Gil sounds worth it to me. Plus the sword from the second game is useful all the way to some valley or whatever. I just got to Gongaga, and I think the only weapon that are a little weaker than I'd prefer is Red XIII's, but that's because I can steal a good one right after the valley

    Now that you' ve reached Gongaga you can farm str+ items and max the strength of all your characters up to 255 if you wish. It makes equipping better weapons utterly obsolete (granted it breaks the game). See those weird rhino-tanks or whatever they are ? Deliver the killing blow on them using the trans materia.

    Oh, well, I guess I could do that, but I don't know if I want to break the game just yet. Though I am farming them for gil since I lost about 3/4 of mine back in Cosmo Canyon and I want my 40k back.

    I got the PSN version of FFVII... and the third "disc" glitched up for me. D;
