On a more serious note, don't most websites (if not all) just list pedophiles as sex offenders?
For reference, there's a difference between pedophiles and sex offenders. Not every sex offender close to you is a pedophile :v he could have just solicited a prostitute or something.

 

I think so. There was a little square I could click on and it told me the offense. One was beating of children and soliciting children. I only looked at two.

Also, pedophiles and child molesters aren't the same thing. Some pedophiles are "lucky" enough to have gotten help before they could act on their sexuality and live perfectly normal and well adjusted lives despite having to avoid a lot of places where there tend to be a lot of children.

While the penis is a male's sexual organ (which is why children's shows can make jokes regarding breasts and butts, but not penises and vaginas), both of its functions aren't sexual:

• Urination isn't a sexual function

Urine can used as a part of sex, I know, but it's still not its function. It's just been sexualized.

It's the same with sexual acts. Penises and vaginas are the only sexual organs, but butts, with their primary and only function being defecation, and breasts / nipples, with their primary and only function in females being feeding babies, have been sexualized.

Many other body parts, like ears and feet, have also been sexualized.

Which is gradually becoming legal in a lot of states, but this has nothing to do with sexuality, it has to do with what counts as a sexual offense.

As far as our lawmakers are concerned, a sexual offense is anything that is illegal and involves any part of the body that is considered taboo for sexual reasons. The anus, penis, or vagina for example.

meanwhile, i don't look up these kinds of things anymore because they simply don't help. i don't have to look at some website to tell me that that there are pedophiles in my apartment complex. there have been standoffs here, drugbusts, etc.
