John heard a scream and looked out the porthole to see the man being pulled into the water by something."it must be a giant squid" he thought without thinking he jumped out the window of the ship and distracted the creature the man was able to get away but he slipped hit his head and fell into the water the creature followed john saw something on a rock he swam over and found a page to the strange journal he read what he could understand of it."reached the ...... this mo..ing many ...... wildlife ................ natives.........friendly............. burned.................. the west Indies........ waterway" he didnt understand the west indies part because they were almost to england by now. he swam to the ship, climbed back in through the port hole and finally went to bed.
John couldnt find morgan anywhere so he went down to look out the port hole but the man was gone,had he been imagining things?

John sat up on the bed still feeling slightly sick from the sea water he stood up and stretched he examined the page he found he couldn't make anything of it.He shrugged his shoulders and looked out his porthole he saw a man standing on a rock shouting "help me,Help me" he ran to get Morgan.
John was so glad to finally be on a ship that was bigger than the scrawny old thing the king gave him.He feared what the king would say when he found out John wrecked the ship he gave him.for the time being though he decided to go to bed.

John saw a ship coming his way he recognized it as the ship of Sir Morgan and started to wave his arms in the making let go of his piece of wreckage and almost drown,luckily the sight of Morgan's ship made him sane agian and he grabbed back hold of his wreckage and waited for a life boat.
